Sorry to say this place is in bad shape. Dirty, not maintained, bad care with long wait times. all you have to do is walk around the inside and outside of the building, you will see. from the parking lot to features like garden center. And inside carpets and common areas. Its sad. If the main building is this dirty and run down, how are the units? I wouldn't want my loved ones stuck there. I would take a look before you think about moving in there.

Bonaventure of Lacey is a dream come true. The staff are 100% top notch. Every staff member with who I have interacted is knowledgeable and very caring. It is such a comfort to know my loved one is receiving such love, care and attention 24-7. The whole facility is very clean, very nicely decorated and maintained, and convenient. It is bright, welcoming and inviting. Every residents every need is provided from the dining rooms to the activities to the apartments, and beyond. I highly endorse and recommend Bonaventure of Lacey for you or your loved one!

This is such an amazing place to be! I have really enjoyed being here it is such a fulfilling place! This company really takes care of their employees, you can tell by how happy and helpful they are. They always seem to have a smile on their faces! The administration at the home office have a fantastic vision and you can tell they work really hard to take care of all of the seniors who come in their door. Bonaventure of Lacey has a great team and a great atmosphere to be in! The building is beautiful and is a great environment. I am so happy to be here I would not want to be anywhere else.

Poor communications. My mom was placed there in their memory care unit. My husband and I spent nearly a week trying to get assistance with setting up a ViewClix so we could have face to face chats with my mom. No one from the IT department would call back. We had to return to our home and left the equipment with phone numbers. A month later I emailed the head of the facility, she replied a few days later, but since then nothing. I have no way to communicate with my mom except by letter. Frustrating. UPDATED 10-9-2019. Bonaventure communicated quite well to try to come to a solution. Sadly we were not able to connect the ViewClix via their wifi and will have to find another solution.

The people that work here are 5 star. They are friendly and have a great attitude. Kelly McPherson always personalizes food orders for me and is always happy to help. The quality of the food has improved since shes been here.

Moving mom here was difficult but the staff at Bonaventure assisted living have been so generous with their care and skill. From management, to the maintenance director, the activities team, nursing director and Care staff. Mom feels safe, independent, energized, respected and happy.

Just under a month ago, my wife and I began our tenure at Bonaventure of Lacey. It did not go well. All the preliminary contacts were very good -- straight answers, excellent tours and knowledge of the facilities and services. On move-in day, we were advised that our apartment had developed a bad odor, but that they had taken action and were satisfied that all was well. It was not. We moved in and unpacked what was needed to survive, but the odor came and went about every other day for more that a week. We were shown alternative apartments while the search for a cure went on, but we liked our location and had ordered window treatments for the windows, do we made do. Throughout this ordeal, the people of Bonaventure, the Director, her assistant, maintenance people, caregivers and indeed the entire staff did everything in their power to mitigate our frustration and stress. Had it not been for these dedicated people, we would not still be here. Nobody made excuses, blamed someone else or lied to us to take the heat off. In fact, they looked me in the eye and said it like it was while doing everything possible to correct the problem and make us as comfortable as they could. After about ten days of this, by mutual agreement we changed apartments with the support of the entire staff. All our belongings were moved at their expense, and everyone pitched in to make the move as painless as possible.They even put a staff member at our disposal for as long as we needed her. We were also compensated for the time we were in limbo. There are things in life beyond our ken and control, but if they are dealt with honestly, directly and with the end in view of doing what is right, problems begin to look more like opportunities. It was not fun, but it was made bearable because of the quality of the people of Bonaventure of Lacey. An apartment, after all, is just a place to live, but people are the fabric of our lives. My parents moved to Bonaventure of Lacey a year ago. I am very impressed with the management (Misty is executive director) for the last 8 months. There have been many positive changes and when I visit twice a week I feel that it is a warm and loving place. There are many activities to get involved in and I have enjoyed joining in as well! The staff is hardworking and caring. I dropped it 1 point because the dining room and food have improved but is still lacking.

Bonaventure has been under new management (with a new executive director) for the past 8 months or so, and this has made a tremendous difference in the quality of service and atmosphere in the facility! My mom is so happy there. The staff work hard to have numerous fun, high-quality outings and activities for the residents, many of which I attend with my mom because they are so fun. The staff are caring and supportive both with the residents themselves as well as with the family members. I am at the facility several times a week, and when I walk in, it feels like home. I am very thankful we found Bonaventure.

My Mother in law used to live here at Bonaventure of Lacey. The staff here took such great care of mom and made sure she was comfortable, was able to participate in the activities that she physically could, and kept a smile on her face. I would recommend Bonaventure of Lacey to anyone that has a loved one needing to be in an Assisted Living Community. They will take great care of them.

My Family and I have visited this community and their community next door looking for Assisted Living for my Mom. The communities are absolutely beautiful. Its almost like a hotel when you walk in. Unfortunately they were both more than we could afford for Mom, but if we could have, we would have picked one of the two.

I called this community to get information about costs and services, and let me just say that I got much more than that. The people I spoke with were very professional, knowledgeable, and very understanding of our families situation. I'll be looking to make a decision soon, and they are definitely in the running. I work at Bonaventure of Lacey and I truly love it. It feels like a family. Every staff member looks out for one another and everyone genuinely cares for our residents. No one is perfect and we aren't either but the experience of being an employee here is amazing. Bonaventure has been my first job and I have been for almost 3 years. I started as a server and have moved over to reception and I always feel appreciated and cared for. I love Bonaventure of Lacey so much and I am extremely grateful for all of the opportunities Bonaventure has to offer.

My nana lives here and its a nice looking place; clean with pool tables upstairs and kitchens-dining room-hangout rooms you can use when your whole family gets together for big dinners (like mine) like Thanksgiving. I think the staff are awesome also, most of them know her by name and other residents also. The only complaint Ive heard from her is that the food sucks for how much she is paying a month-year to live there. That and the turn-over in staff is pretty quick (which I think is somewhat normal in these types of eatablishmebts), especially in the dining and serving department, as well as the administrative portion.

Beautiful place and has a lot of great people working there. Everyone is happy and this place allows seniors to move in independently into retirement and then not have to leave because all care is offered at this community. We looked at Panorama and they charge a large fee upfront for that and this place didn't so it is great to be able to live at Bonaventure and be smarter with our parents money.

Moved my parents there Nov 2011. The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. This allows my mother a certain amount of independence while assistance is available if she needs it.
