I agree with the review posted by Jamee Weaver. I’m a resident and know her mother well. She is well cared for as am I. I’m in the Assisted Living section with her. I can’t say enough about the care staff. They do their job exceptionally well but, for me, I see how much they truly care for the residents. That is the best feature of Sunrise. The facilities are exceptional, well cared for and functional. Be Sunrise provides physical therapy, hair care, podiatry, and other setvice activities. The activity director is amazing. She takes residents to lunch, dinner, concerts and also provides entertainment as week asa activities in house. I would recommend Sunrise to anyone and have when asked by potential residents touring the facility. Sunrise is great.

My experience overall has been very good. The staff at Sunrise of Issaquah nearly without exception are friendly and helpful. The building interior and common areas are beautifully decorated. I feel at home. Special mention goes to my friend And concierge, Stephanie. She has become a tremendous source of pleasure each day she is ai the front desk. Her smile, good humor and constant, positive, can do attitude is an inspiration. She always has time to talk with or help a resident in need. In my view Stephanie is a Sunrise treasure. My friends mom loves it here and if/when the time comes it will definitely be top of the list for my mom due to the beautiful Eastside location, facility, but most of all the PEOPLE! Residents and care givers alike are all a genuine pleasure. Many fun daily and special events to stay engaged in whether it’s indoor Master’s Putt-putt Golf, live music, or the familiar comfort of a good old fashion family BINGO game. My Sunshine (Teetseeah)

My beautiful Mamma moved to Sunrise of Issaquah, and soon became very ill. The care she was afforded by every single member of the staff went so far above beyond what I had expected. Every interaction she had with Every staff member was genuine and kind. Everyone was up to date on her treatment and care staff, Med techs and nurses were incredible. They treated her with compassion and cradled her in dignified and honest care. Nothing was ever too much to ask. We sadly lost mom, but I feel that I have gained a new family at Sunrise. I cannot recommend this community and its staff highly enough and will forever be indebted for the beautiful way they allowed my mom to live in joy and end peacefully her journey.

I cannot recommend Sunrise highly enough! They treat every resident with dignity and respect! They go out of their way to plan activities depending on the personalities of the specific residents they are serving. My Dad had memory issues and when he really declined and needed end of life care, they attended to his every need. They anticipated what we would need before we knew we needed it. When things got bad at the end, they were the kindest people and helped make his last days comfortable and filled with dignity. My Mom is still there and the staff jokes with her and they know that she loves to be teased. I am always amazed at the fun activities that they plan. My Mom loved the Mamma Mia dance party, she went to a whiskey tasting, on the day of the Master's golf tournament they did a mini golf course in the hallway with a "shot" at each hole if you made it, they had alcoholic and mocktails for the residents to celebrate with. I could go on and on with all the fun things they plan for the residents. Transitioning to assisted living is not easy for anyone involved, but Sunrise has proven to us, time and again, to be the best decision my bother I could have made for my Mom and Dad.

Sunrise of Issaquah is an exceptional, beautiful facility with caring, attentive staff. I was treated like royalty during my tour, and the staff truly listened to my concerns regarding my mother's needs. As an added plus, Ginger, the resident Labrador, instantly provided a loving and warm welcome. I am a veterinarian, so truly enjoyed the interaction! The residents enjoy her as well, hard not to smile with that unconditional love. I would highly recommend this facility....it feels and looks like a resort! Great activity schedule, menu, and amenities as well!

Moved my mom from independent living to assisted living (Terrace Club) and to be closer to my home in Sammamish. It took my mom about 4-6 weeks to adjust to the additional personal attention, but she loves it here now. The facility is very nice and bright and they have a lot of activities that my mom loves to do. I looked at several assisted living places before choosing Sunrise. The staff was the primary reason for selecting Sunrise. They are amazing and personable. Kristine, Laurene, JoJo, Kara, Sachit and the team on the 4th floor make it a pleasure to walk in every time I visit, and I know they take excellent care of my mom.

My Mother and Step Father became residents of Sunrise of Issaquah in August of 2022. They had been living in an Independent Facility but the care for my declining Father became too much for my Mom. From day 1 Sunrise of Issaquah was superior. I toured many many residences on the eastside. A lot of them had amazing amenities, beautiful gathering spaces, wonderful apartments.....all the bells and whistles. But, in reality my parents would not use all of that. Although it was appealing to me at 62, for them at 87 and 90 it would be more than they need and very very expensive. It was extremely important to my Mother that she and Jack stay together. Although Mom did not qualify for any type of assistance personally, we had a list of care needs for him. They were allowed to live on the 4th Floor, the Terrace level. Their two bedroom apartment was fantastic for them both. The care providers are angels. The staff listens and responds to any needs or questions immediately. Jack passed peacefully on March 27, 2023. The love and care that was given not only to him but to my Mother was amazing. We were able to move Mom down to the 2nd floor, as she has no additional care needs. But, she loves the housekeeping, help if she falls, large group activities and her neighbors/friends. I love knowing that she has help available and care immediately if she should need it. The staff treats her like gold and is positive and caring on a daily basis. I am so very happy that Mom lives 10 minutes from me, that she gets her "10am" breakfast cooked to order daily, she has people she talks and interacts with daily .......basically she is happy.

My mom was a resident at the Terrace Club at Sunrise Issaquah. This was a big transition for our family, but everyone at Sunrise made us feel comfortable and welcomed. They took wonderful care of her and were always available for my questions and to update me on her care. The facility is absolutely beautiful and well managed and clean. Everyone from the front desk staff to the executive director (and everyone in between) were friendly, professional and always helpful. The caregivers are angels! And Laurene at the Terrace Club was a life saver to me, always keeping a special eye on my mom and keeping me updated. My wife's care of her Alzheimer's was complicated initially by agitation but she finally settled in and was doing well except for beginning to have falls while she walked with limited supervision. she eventually suffered a fracture requiring pain control and more intensive care. They felt unable to provide the care and would not take her back from the hospital.

Our family was so grateful when we found Sunrise Issaquah for Mom. Researching and selecting the best care for her at her advanced age was such an incredibly difficult process and a weighty responsibility given that she had been living well independently for so many years and understandably was very reluctant to give that up or accept help. But substantial health and memory loss issues finally forced us to move her across the state to be closer to us several years ago. Although the transition was rough for a while, she first settled into an unrelated facility in Bellevue that we had selected and which seemed great in the beginning but gradually deteriorated under frequent ownership changes and poor management until we had to make the traumatic decision (unfortunately during the beginning of COVID) to search for a safer and more stable environment for her. We felt so incredibly fortunate to find space for her in the newly opened, beautiful Sunrise Issaquah location near us! Upon meeting their daily care staff and medical team members, consulting with the director, and touring the warm and welcoming building, we knew immediately that we had found a gem. We could not arrange that move for Mom fast enough and they helped make it as seamless as possible. We chose their intermediate Terrace Club program for her, which is unique only to Sunrise from what we found in our research, because she needed more help than assisted living offers but was far from being ready for memory care services. From day one the high level of care and individualized attention she received was such a contrast to where she had been, it was truly remarkable, and we began to see her happy and thriving again. Everyone from the front desk concierge to the kitchen staff to the activities director were cheerful and enthusiastic which created the positive environment that we looked forward to visiting her in. And amazingly we noticed very little staff turnover during this time, which is virtually unheard of in this environment, and which speaks volumes for this facility. Mom continued to enjoy her years at Sunrise until unfortunately her significant health conditions caught up with her recently and we were confronted with end-of-life care issues that we had never faced before. The compassion and genuine care she received from these angels on earth who choose to work with seniors at Sunrise simply brought our family to tears. They welcomed her home from the hospital, held her hand, gently spoke to her, softly played her favorite music for her, consoled us as we sat by her side, and made her as comfortable as possible throughout each day and all through the night. Leaving Sunrise and saying goodbye to all of her caregivers for the last time was very difficult as several had become like extended family members. It has taken some time to be able to write this review but if we can help any other family or friend find Sunrise Issaquah for their loved one, it would be a gift we would be happy and feel honored to share.

Every member of the staff that I have met has been helpful and caring. When I come to visit my aunt, she is engaged in some sort of activity and enjoying the people around her. The activities are geared towards the abilities of the residents on each floor. My aunt participates in the exercise class to help keep her moving. I know she is not sitting in her room all day alone, there is always something going on. They have hosted some holiday themed events where the family is included. When it came time to move her to Reminiscence, the staff packed up her belongings and moved her entire room during lunch and she never realized she had changed floors. The communication has been very good, especially during Covid. My aunt enjoys living there and they like having her there. I appreciate the safety features so I know she is safe. I really like the d©cor, it is beautifully furnished.

When my sister and I were in search of the best dementia care available for our mother in July 2020, we knew we had found it in Sunrise Senior Living, Issaquah. Ever since that day, all of our expectations have been far exceeded again and again. We have trust and peace of mind through all of the ways our mom is seen, heard, honored, and respected as an individual. Through their amazing skills, personal qualities, and knowledge, the Sunrise staff clearly strive to provide the best care with compassion, concern, attention to physical and emotional needs, attention in honoring and recognizing one's individuality/worthiness....along with bringing joy, humor, and fun actives. Although the place itself is beautiful, it is the staff that makes it most beautiful. When facing a time when our mom’s dementia needs could no longer be met by us, Sunrise has given us all the gift of knowing she is receiving the best advanced care by the Sunrise team. I moved my mom here about 6 months ago and I couldn't be happier with my decision. From the initial meeting to tour Sunrise, until the time we moved her in was seamless. I could tell immediately that the staff cared about my mom before they even met her! The facility is bright, cheery, open and decorated for every season and holiday. When I visit mom a couple times a week, she is always out in the living area with others or sitting at a craft table. It is evident that the staff like their jobs and the company that they work for. I've seen very little, if any, turnover and that was very important to me. We recently celebrated mom's birthday in a room that they set up for us and had flowers on the table for her. I get regular updates from the care team, and if I ask them to check on something or have the doctor look at anything, they are very responsive. I highly recommend Sunrise of Issaquah to anyone looking for a caring, wonderful place for your loved one to live!

Mom is extremely happy and truly loves everyone she interacts with including her care team, her neighbors and friends. It was hard not to be able to be inside Sunrise due to Covid restrictions. Not once did I question her care physically, socially or emotionally. All efforts were made to keep our family connected to our mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The community of Issaquah is so fortunate to have Sunrise!

I cannot rate Sunrise of Issaquah highly enough. Our mother was scheduled to move in April 2020 which was delayed due to COVID. Initially, she was assessed for a lower-care floor, but when she was finally able to move in her mental state had declined significantly. Sunrise adapted and moved her to the Reminiscence Floor. I cannot praise Sunrise highly enough in this review for how they have helped my mom settle in and live her best life. She had difficulty settling in, but rather than treating her as a problem, Sunrise staff respected her dementia and helped us work through how to best help her. Dementia can be a hard road for any family - particularly when you live far away. But through it all the staff and administration at Sunrise made us feel like we were a part of a team caring for our mother. They were as happy as we were when mom's agitation settled. The care is professional and personal at the same time. From the Executive Director down to those setting the tables at meal times - everyone knows and cares for the residents. If you are lucky enough to get a loved one a place at Sunrise of Issaquah - take it. This is A+ quality care and a great team of people. Thank you!!!

We moved my mother into Sunrise of Issaquah when they opened in July of 2020. She has lived on the Terrace Club Level and is now on the Reminiscence Level. Throughout her time there she has received excellent care. I have observed the staff on a number of occasions and they are always kind and attentive. My mother has told me a number of times how kind everyone is, how it's a happy place/happy family and that the food is very good. The staff promptly responds to email/phone and text questions. The facility itself is brand new and beautiful.

We moved my mother to Sunrise of Issaquah in March of this year and Kristine was very helpful in answering our many questions about the Terrace Club neighborhood in which my mother now resides. She also assisted us on move-in day, which helped to reduce the stress of moving my mother’s belongings, hanging her paintings and pictures and everything else that we needed to accomplish before my mother arrived. Kristine’s competent assistance and positive attitude was very much appreciated. Thankfully the transition from my mother’s independent living situation into Sunrise was seamless and she has very much enjoys her new apartment, as well as the social activities within the Terrace Club common areas. And I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Shannon for occasionally emailing information and photos of my mother enjoying herself with her new friends.

Our mom moved to Sunrise Issaquah in July 2020 during the middle of the pandemic and right after they opened. She has been happy there and we have found the care to be very compassionate and wonderful. The facility is beautiful and feels like a luxury hotel. The views from the back of the building are very nice. I would highly recommend Sunrise Issaquah.
