After my friend Karen, (who calls me her son), broke her hip we carefully researched all nearby skilled nursing options and chose Sharon Care. In the weeks that followed we agreed to try assisted living, (per Karen, as long as it was there). With the help of Campus Administrator J.R. Blood we moved Karen to a beautiful space on the other side of the building. For the past 17 months we couldn’t be happier with the results! Assisted Living and Memory Care Administrator Jymmie Reed has offered compassion and assistance above and beyond the call of duty. From as simple as how Karen is doing to recommending care providers for Karen, no question goes unanswered. Resident Care Coordinator Jami Underwood also does so much that we appreciate. By arranging transportation to appointments or the hospital, monitoring medication changes, keeping us and Karen’s providers apprised of any and all concerns, etc. they and their staff have helped Karen to her best possible life. For this they have our heartfelt appreciation.

Most of the staff took really good care of my Dad in memory care with the exception of a caregiver that YELLED at me when I was visiting my Dad , pointed her finger and DEMANDED I go sit in another room instead of visiting my dad in the dining area. Im afraid if she is talking to a VISITOR that way, she is definitely talking to the vunerable, elderly residents that way too. The visitors and residents desere more respect than this!!!I' This employee does NOT have the temperament to be working there.

This facility was wonderful with my Mom. She was there for short term rehab and we were very happy with response times from the staff and the care she received. I had been very reluctant to have her in any nursing facility, but Sharon Care was great. If either of my parents need care in the future, we would absolutely use them again. Update: Despite never hearing a negative word during my mom's stay about her attitude or motivation the facility has declined to take her back saying she was uncooperative. So they either don't communicate well with the families or refuse return patients to keep their re-admission rates artificially low.

I highly recommend Sharon Care Center for the high caliber care provided to my mother, Marie Powell, during her recent 2+ month stay. A special shout out to Jymmie Reed who not only made my mother feel welcomed and cared for, but also took the time to make sure my husband and I had the assistance we needed to make our way through the labyrinth issues associated with elder care. Thank you.

I've lived here four years and this is home! The staff is wonderful and Caring!! I love this facility......there are no other facilities that compare......if you are looking for a home for a loved one, sharoncares it!!!

We were searching for an assisted living place for our beloved grandmother. We met with staff here and toured the facility and knew this is where we wanted her to be. Staff is compassionate and went above and beyond to assist us with the transition. We are looking forward to getting to know them more and appreciate all they have done for us to make this happen in a quick turn around. Jymmie, Ellen and Toni have been wonderful.

My Husband came here and stayed for about a month. When he went there he was a total invalid after having a heart attach in December. The therapy staff here are amazing. They worked hard with him and pushed him to get stronger. He walked out of there with a walker on February 16. Everyone at the facility that I encountered which was a lot were professional dedicated to what there jobs were. They all seemed happy to be there, which I found to be comforting. I want to give a big "thank you" to the therapy department. I would highly recommend this facility.
