Moved out June of 2024. Made a big move across country to Michigan. Biggest regret ever. I hate it here. Not sure which is worse this little cabin or staying at the Vintage in Bremerton. I think this cabin and Michigan is the worst. I do miss the spacious apartment I had on the third floor. Don't miss the heat in the latter summer months due to being on the south side with no air conditioning. Miss my spacious walk-in closets and large bathroom. I moved out because of constant rent increases of more than a hundred each and poor maintenance. If things would have been fixed right away, I would have stayed. To fix a faucet, it was taking forever because rather that replace it, they were rebuilding the old and couldn't get the right parts. Had a kitchen ceiling leak also that wasn't addressed properly. The leak was a furnace drainage pipe (wastewater) in the ceiling that came apart and was leaking. Always had to fight with them so much to get anything fixed. I had been there for thirteen years. Always paid my rent on time. Wanted to be treated as fairly as I treated them. I hear now the Attorney General has litigation against a few of these low-income housing establishments for not delivering what they had promised to their residents. Some were listed as luxury apartments. The Vintage in Bremerton has no luxury apartments. Finishes are low grade, low cost, whatever finishes the job for an apartment complex. Comfortable and clean with no pest kept me there. There was no luxury. I did like the false sense of security by having the locking doors from the street.

Every time I turn around there's been a change in processes without any written forms being sent to say that there have been a change. There have been rumors sent down by ambassadors that now we must claim the income made by selling our crafts in the lobby as income. When in order to have a business license you must sell over $10,000 worth of product. I don't meet that requirement however, I am sure that they are not requesting that people who receive extra income from their relatives who are helping them out monetarily is not something that they're requesting from the residents so why should I have to include what little bit I make off of my crafts as income. I'm very upset about this but not only that if I claim my crafting income then I must also claim what it cost me to make the crafting items. So now I must work out a statement of cost versus income so that it can be properly recorded. And quite frankly it's none of your business. I don't make more money than I'm allowed to make to live in this apartment complex I've lived here 13 years and this is outrageous.

I so love living here. Compared to where I was . I'm actually at peace. My Brownie even. The people are wonderful. I had to make some changes, but once I did, everything started to fall into place. I now have another family. Maintenance work, thank you great job.

I was thrilled to hear Wednesday that my dishwasher was going to be replaced by the end of the week however, it is yet to be completed. I'm hoping our maintenance fine fellows work on Saturday so I won't have these dish-pan hands from washing my dishes by hand.

My toilet was acting up- again- I got a hold of Alisa in the office, she got John to come out and he worked on my toilet until about 9:30 at night! Who does that! Apparently they do! Such a good group of people. Then when they couldn't fix the problem, they got me a brand new toilet and installed it next day! Amazing! I love this place!

Very happy with the layout of my apartment and location. Very accessible to stores and downtown for when I take the ferry to Seattle. Management is very responsive to handle problems along with a friendly community with numerous activities if you so desire to participate.

The maintenance guys left my bathroom door barely on. My grandkids kept trying to close it. I was afraid that they would bend the last hinge. So I took the door completely off. It is just outside my front door. If they would put in dowels in the stripped holes they could get the door back on. This would save money on a new door.

I do not believe that this place cares much for the seniors. The garbage areas are constantly messy to the point where entry is not advised. People smoke in there apartments with no repercussions. The management staff of the apartments have a huge turnover rate, and most of all the place is not clean. Hallway floors look like hell. On top of all that the rent increases are such that seniors are being put out on the streets with not a care in the world. They are on a fixed income with very little cost of living increases 10.00 here 20.00 there. This place advertises affordable senior living. I am very aware of all the excuses the apartments make for there high prices on senior living. For me the senior citizens don't need excuses they need solutions. I have also read several reviews in regards to the staffs treatment of the residents. YES this is a problem. This is a senior living establishment. Who ever is working there should probably have the ability to treat the guests living there with courtesy and respect. I still wonder in regards to if there is a major emergency how these people can make it out safe. For one in that entire apartment complex there is one elevator. Who ever came up with that design needs to go back to school. I am a concerned citizen that worries for the seniors living in that apartment complex.

Great new Community Director. I like that she lives on site. Her boss is also great. The training keeps staff from being available often. My maintanence issue was solved quickly and efficiently.

As needed, the faucet on my bathroom sink was replaced. I am waiting for Jake to return to repair/touch up the surface of my sink where the porcelain surface was chipped off. Service was prompt by Jake and Mike.
