After reading several reviews, I would like to first mention - that reviews are not a place to take one's personal hate out on because they experienced something that was not favorable towards them. Personally working in a nursing home, I understand all avenues and no matter what everyone will still find something to complain about no matter how close you come to being a perfectionist. From an outsiders view let me just say, the building is well kept and clean and presents in a manner that is clean and welcoming. I have viewed buildings before where I did not want to step foot in and I question how they might remain open when the entirety of the building should be deemed unsanitary and unsafe, however, The Belmont...is in wonderful condition and in a nice area of Bremerton where there is not street foot traffic that can draw unwanted attention. Entering the building, it is very well kept, organized, and cleaned. The building houses 102 beds and have wide hallways that allow for movement without getting into someone's way. The receptionist is super amazing and was pleasant, every time I heard her on the phone she was pleasant and helpful. The floors were cleared of anything on the ground and the hallways smelled fantastic, and trust me, I've smelt some things working in nursing homes, to say I didn't smell anything unpleasant is a first and I am amazed. The resident's were taken care of and call lights were being answered. For the amount of time I spent in the building, I did not hear one resident scream for help and that is amazing!! The nursing staff were friendly and helpful. I personally watched them help family members and residents and I did not see anyone not performing their duties. Every staff I came into contact with was pleasant and had a smile on their face. When I met the management team, they were friendly and helpful. Robert, the administrator has been running this building for over 25years and to say that itself is amazing! His knowledge and guidance is outstanding! Judi - the DNS is fantastic! She is a great benefit to the building and team with the amount of knowledge she brings, and she was always smiling and truly helpful! The Belmont does care about family and their staff. I see that the review board was made for attacks and I want to be one that sets a change that these reviews are for the honest truth and not one's own personally rant. The Belmont has great potential to care for your family member and has wonderful staff that do care and show that you matter as well. For a nursing home in Bremerton, The Belmont goes above and beyond to impress. I recommended giving them a shot.

My Daughter's Grandmother resided at Stafford Healthcare in Bremerton for over 20 years and was always well cared for. She was treated like family and loved by staff. Thank you for your many years of compassion.

Our friend was left in urine or feces soaked clothing on a daily basis. Residents only get to shower once a week.
