My mom has been at Sunrise of Bellevue for almost a year and WOW! I am so grateful that we chose Sunrise of Bellevue. The staff are all AWESOME! She requires full service, shower, bathroom, and dressing needs. The entire team treats my mom with dignity, even when things go awry, and they help her dress so that she looks styling and feels great about her appearance. I was doing everything myself before she arrived at Sunrise and was emotionally exhausted and completely fried. Actually, still am, LoL. Sunrise has also helped me start my recovery process because I can now rely on them for many of her immediate needs. Another awesome aspect of Sunrise of Bellevue is the staff always have multiple activities for the residents everyday to keep them engaged. The staff also go above and beyond in monitoring the residents to ensure their safety. I am impressed!

I’ve been in A LOT of assisted living facilities over the years, visiting various relatives and Sunrise is on a different scale! From the moment you enter, the atmosphere is warm and homey much like the lobby of a nice hotel. There is often a fire going and residents are engaged in a puzzle or playing a game. There are many daily activities and the staff is warm and friendly. There is a genuine effort to include new residents in events. If you are looking for superlative care in a home-like environment, you can’t beat Sunrise at Crossroads!

My dad has been living here for a little over a year. He enjoys the continuous activities and has a good relationship with his caregiver(s). The environment is very comfortable. I love the place, and how well he is cared for! The staff are all top notch: warm, welcoming, helpful (dropping whatever they are doing to aid me), truly caring about the residents. The best thing about this residence is, in my opinion, the assignment of only one caregiver to a resident (My dad has 2, as he requires a male caregiver and people do need a day off!). This allows for the building of a relationship of trust and consistency. Health, behavior, appetite (etc.) patterns can be better monitored this way, rather than having a random person visiting each day. So glad I checked Sunrise out!!

Absolutely the most caring staff we could hope for; true interest in my mother, and warmth and affection for her. Molly (Director) is a very impressive professional, managing everything - from the COVID challenges down to smaller issues - with grace and excellent communication to families. Shelley made sure our move was as smooth as possible (even recommending movers) and Mom felt so welcomed. Location is excellent - quiet and near the park and Mall, and the smaller size felt right to Mom. No place or move is "perfect" - transitions are difficult. But staff has been very receptive to feedback and any suggestions for enhancements. Again, it's all about the people, and the people here have been excellent.

My dad lived here for about 5 yrs. People of Sunrise of Bellevue were always kind and attentive. I worried so much about leaving him but it clearly was time. Whenever there was a question or concern, the staff always stepped up. Sunrise of Bellevue came highly recommended by two of my friends who had parents living there. Dad was allowed to bring his cat too.

Sunrise has been home to both my mom and sister in the past. Mom lived in the reminiscence floor where she had excellent care, even when she was not the easiest person. More recently my sister has lived at Sunrise due to MS. Jean loved the activities and the care she received. I would strongly recommend Sunrise for people looking for an assisted living situation. I have been the in-house PT of Sunrise Senior Living, Bellevue, and my overall experience is amazing. The facility gives you the “feel at home” vibes, where staff and caregivers attend to your needs like your very own family. The admin and nursing departments, caregivers and staff are very good in advocating for the residents, who would benefit in receiving PT and OT therapy services, in order to improve safety and optimize quality of life in this beautiful home. The available activities that Sunrise offer, which vary from music, arts and craft, gardening, board games, and group leisure walking activities, are good inspirations and extensions to the care that the therapy department provides, allowing more opportunities for residents to work on their functional goals, establishing a great community and relationship with fellow residents, making their life in their Sunrise home more meaningful. Great experience indeed!

If you plan on having a loved one moved into an assisted living home. I cant recommend Sunrise of Bellevue enough. When I first visited to check it out, I was greeted by multiple caretakers making sure I had everything I needed as well making sure any questions I had were answered. It was clean, tons of space for loved ones to move around and be active and actually felt like a little community. I will definitely be sharing this with my family!

Sunrise of Bellevue is a welcoming, warm and wonderful assisted living home. My mother lived here for several years and when I walk into Sunrise of Bellevue it feels like home to me. There are many activities, live music, social hours most days, cook to order menus and the people working there are so very caring, well trained and dedicated to their clients. They also have a wonderful memory care unit, where clients are encouraged to live their best life. Sunrise of Bellevue is located immediately adjacent to a mall and a beautiful park. The property is always impeccably clean inside and out. I would recommend Sunrise of Bellevue to anyone that needs assisted living. You may find me there someday!

We give Sunrise of Bellevue a Five Star Rating The entire staff at Sunrise is friendly, compassionate, and caring. They understand the anxiety associated with having to leave the comfort of your house and move to a facility that will be your new home. The staff knows each of the residents and takes the time to greet them by name. Our mother who initially was hesitant to move, after just a week, began to quickly adjust to her new apartment. She now looks forward to all the different activities and social events that take place during the week. The highlight of her day is gathering with her friends and enjoying the delicious meals. She now calls Sunrise her new home. Our family is very relieved that our mother is being well cared for.

My father was at Sunrise during his journey with Alzheimer's. He also went through COVID times in the facility which was handled above and beyond expectations. The staff could not have been better during his entire residency. He had the same caregiving team for all his years there, who treated him like family and with so much love. They were angels. I cannot say enough good things about Sunrise of Bellevue. Everyone was genuine, giving, caring, and my dad was so happy. They were so supportive of me and our family and there for anything we needed. I would not have wanted my father anywhere else. They are best in class and they were by his side with us, through his last breaths. Thank you Sunrise of Bellevue.

Sunrise offers a complete array of services for elder care and their experienced staff are able to coordinate with outside services to augment the rare services they do not directly provide. The staff at Sunrise are phenomenal. Management has gone above and beyond to help my hesitant mother adapt to an assisted living environment and the daily care staff are friendly, kind and responsive. The facility itself is very comfortable and well maintained, and being located adjacent to Crossroads Park and Crossroads Mall provides a lot of external activities for those inclined. But while a quality facility in a good community environment is fantastic, it is the staff that makes Sunrise worth considering. From the top management to the nursing staff and personal care staff I have found everyone to be genuinely concerned with the welfare of their residents and responsive to the needs of both resident and their family members. Shelley and Molly were really great at helping our family understand the nuances of the care system and super helpful in guiding us through the processes required to transition my mother to a new lifestyle. And I can't speak highly enough of their nursing staff who are easy to work with and do a tremendous job of looking after residents' medical needs. Elvie has done yeoman's work coordinating with the skilled nursing facility my mother was in to get her moved to her own apartment. Considering the dearth of service staff due to the current pandemic it's even more impressive that Sunrise has been able to provide such complete and quality service. All the folks that frequently check in with my mother, respond to her alerts, assure she's not missing meals, assist with bathing and sanitary issues, etc. are always very friendly and patient and I feel comfortable knowing mom is getting the support and attention she needs. These people are the hardest working, boots on the ground crew you could imagine, and it's impressive how well they interact with residents when they surely are under a lot of pressure. I couldn't do it... my hat's off to these front line folks. I REALLY appreciate them. Bottom line... Sunrise should be on your list of contenders if you're looking for assisted living services. We, and more importantly my mother, are very satisfied and have no regrets having chosen them.

We've observed how assisted living residents are well cared for. There are in-house activities for all levels and the dining is great. One of the things I love most about working here is our strong sense of team culture and team spirit, where everyone helps wherever help is needed - no matter what their job title is. My sister is very happy here. Many nurses check in on her and take time to chat when they are helping her. She could not remember to take her pills and was getting sick all the time at home. Everybody is friendly and she loves eating in the dining room. They set up tables for safe distancing during covid. She is not afraid at night anymore because staff regularly check in.

Great experience here with my grandfather! The entire staff really shows day-in and day-out how much they care about each resident and their wellbeing. I had been looking for months for an assisted living community (with memory care option, just in-case) and Sunrise of Bellevue was the perfect fit for us.
