I am very happy with dad's experience at Spring Arbor. The staff really cares about their residents. They treat them with respect, call them by name, and look them in the eye when talking to them. The place and the residents were always clean, and well cared for. We visited as often as possible and were always greeted by one of the caregivers with an update on dad's status. Everyone we met - caregivers, med techs, activities coordinators, maintenance staff, administrators - they were all friendly, cheerful and caring. And they even had a support group for family

Every time I have been there, the residents and their rooms are so clean and attractive looking. The residents seem to be well cared for.

I wanted to take time to say how happy we are that my sister, Darlene is part of your family now. You are the 4th community that she has lived in. The first was in assisted living, but too soon for her. The 2nd one sedated her without our knowledge or approval and the 3rd, The Memory Center at $8,500 per month made promises never kept, and a health care plan never followed. I have experienced more love for my sister here in the month of July than l did in all the other places combined. Nan, Director of Nursing amazes me everyday with her hands on approach and always being on the floor. I witnessed her literally on the floor with a man in a wheelchair so she could look up to him and talk him from a bad moment until he was in a good place. This morning before our caregiver arrived Katie, the Activies Director happened to see my sister sitting up in bed and came in and got her ready for breakfast... cleaned up and dressed! Our caregivers are amazed with how much everyone loves their jobs, interacts with the residents, and just the complete package!.Thank you Cassandra for showing me around and being so honest with me! Cindy, the Director must be doing everything right to have such wonderful people there! I hope that l never have to be sitting in her office complaining, as has always happened in the past because of staff not doing their jobs. But if l do, l feel Cindy will do her job, and resolve issues brought to her. Well done to all who make this the best place and most affordable in Richmond. Carol
