Brookdale Midlothian is a wonderful assisted living community with a caring and compassionate team. Patrick, the Executive Director, does an excellent job leading the community and truly cares about the residents and staff. Victoria, the Director of Nursing, and Margaret the health and wellness coordinator are knowledgeable, attentive, and always put resident care first. Brooke and Erin on the marketing team are friendly, professional, and make the transition process smooth and welcoming. I highly recommend Brookdale Midlothian to anyone looking for quality care and a supportive environment for their loved one.

Overall Brookdale was a wonderful place for my mother to stay. Erin was so good to us and got my mother in quickly under tough circumstances. She was amazing to work with! The staff were generally all friendly and treated Mom well. The food was good and and the family events were awesome. I would recommend Brookdale Midlothian to anyone in need of assisted living.

It wasn't easy finding a place for my mother, but I feel like I made a good decision, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I don't have to worry about her being alone. She now has the care and support she needs.

Extensive research into assisted living facilities for future planning brought me to Brookdale Midlothian. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the facility and the staff. Erin has been my go-to contact and she has been incredibly compassionate, caring, understanding, and helpful. The other staff I have met (Brooke, Charles, Effie, and Richard, to name a few) are equally amazing. They love their work and it is evident. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, inviting, and cozy. The grounds are lovely. We were able to share an amazing holiday dinner with other residents and families that was delicious and delightful. When the time is right, Brookdale Midlothian is absolutely our first choice.

These people (from the ones you meet walking in the door to the ones who sit in offices with you, and the maintenance guys) are amazing at very challenging jobs. My 98 year old grandmother has been at Brookdale midlothian for over a year and to this day I feel that they genuinely care about her and even her cat. From Brooke and Erin running the front office to Beatrice and all the nurses who put up with not the easiest guests along with Jason and Kenny keeping everything running and Carlton who gives the personal touch to every resident and their room. This place has been a great choice for grandma and my peace of mind. Oh, and gotta give a shout out to Effie who has to deal with me and the rest of the resident’s families. Great people all the way around.

Our Mother moved into Brookdale Midlothian in November of 2024. The staff is so kind, caring and attentive. If our Mom needs anything at all, they are right there to help her. The facility is bright, very clean and so welcoming. The food is delicious! They have fun and interactive activities. Mom is happy there and has made good friends. We are so grateful for Brooke Willoughby and all of the staff at Brookdale for welcoming our Mother with open arms and making her feel at home at Brookdale. It is comforting to us knowing she is happy and so well taken care of.

Making the decision to place one of your parents into an assistant living facility is very stressful. I feel very fortunate that I have found Brookdale assistant living in Midlothian to help me relieve that stress. They are taking great care of my dad. They treat him with the upmost respect in addition to being kind and caring. I find that they are very responsive to my dads needs as well as any of my concerns. My dad has made many friends there and he is enjoying being at the facility. They have many activities on a daily basis that the residents partake in. I want to take this opportunity to thank all the staff members at Brookdale Midlothian for all the efforts they put in on a day-to-day basis. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

My sister moved to Brookdale about 9 months ago. This was a big move for her”she moved across the country from a house she had lived in for over 25 years. The team at Brookdale, starting with the sales team and continuing with everyone on-site could not have been more helpful and welcoming. We were overwhelmed with how much effort was made for her arrival and her early days. She had other residents to eat with, people checking in on her, showing her around and making sure she had what she needed. I can’t say there weren’t any bumps along the way”but nothing serious or unsettling. And as many of them (or maybe more) were from our misunderstanding or just miscommunication. Whenever an issue was brought to light, a good, workable solution was easily found. We would not be able to have her living as she is without the additional support provided by Brookdale-At-Home. This service is available for a reasonable fee and they are flexible on services provided and schedule. For our situation, it has proven to be both necessary and reassuring. The entire team at Brookdale is enthusiastic, engaged and available. I believe they all are happy to be there, working with the residents!

In the time my Mother was a resident, my sisters and I were impressed in the employees and facility. The sales and maintenance staff helped us move in. The chef took an interest in our mother’s diet and favorite foods. The head nurse was very knowledgeable and kind. The receptionist was patient and friendly. The Director was very accessible. Everyone was helpful and attentive to Mom. The team pitched in together like a family to accommodate our needs. They were very understanding as we worked through the challenges and transitions.

Mom has been a resident of Brookdale Midlothian for just about a year and her experience has been very positive. The environment at Brookdale is very much like home and the staff has always gone above and beyond to help Mom and her cat. Mom has really improved over the last year and the atmosphere at Brookdale has been a big part of the growth. Great good and friendly staff! I suggest that anyone looking for assisted living take a hard look at Brookdale...truly the best!!

The community is very clean and the line staff are so amazing. They make you feel welcome and the residents are well taken care of. It was a great pleasure to interact with their Chef Melvin. He is such an awesome person who really take his job very seriously. All in all I will encourage families to consider Brookdale Midlothian as their first choice of senior living. I perform music at this facility. All of the staff I have encountered are personal and caring with their interactions with the residents. The residents that I talk to seem to enjoy their time here. I know that the activity directors provide them with activities to provide the residents with memorable experiences. They also have churches whose congregants volunteer their time to come have a church services with the residents!
