Our mother was a resident of Arbor Terrace Fairfax for ten months, initially living in the Bridges Neighborhood and transitioning to the Discovery Neighborhood. As a family member, I cannot say enough good things about the care she received during her stay there. It is never easy moving a loved one into memory care, but I highly recommend Arbor Terrace Fairfax. The facility itself is well maintained and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are bright and the living/common areas are spacious for residents and their guests. There is a lovely outdoor courtyard for each neighborhood where residents can spend time with loved ones. Daily activities are varied and engaging for those that can participate. The staff at Arbor Terrace Fairfax is excellent! From our first meeting with Rachel, it was evident that the residents were in good hands as we walked around and met some of the folks that live there. The administrators and caregivers truly care about the residents, as well as their families, and treat each with kindness, compassion and dignity. They are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure each resident is taken care of and shown the love and respect they deserve. During our mother's stay at Arbor Terrace Fairfax, she faced many challenges, both mental and physical, and the staff worked very hard to find a solution that worked best for her. Even during her final days, she was shown so much love from every single caregiver that knew her. We are forever grateful to Edwin, Robin and their staff for doing their very best to take care of our mother.

Arbor Terrace Fairfax (ATF) has been my Moms home for the a little over a year. From the move-in process to the present I have been continually blessed and impressed with the friendly, loving, and professional experience my family and I have experienced. The Nurses, Care Givers, Activity Personnel, and Administrative-Operational-Management team all work together to create an living community that is safe, clean, creative, and fun. I am convinced that God is using ATF and their employees to provide a little bit of heaven on earth for my Mom. The employees really care and are fully engaged in providing a home experience for each of the residence. I can not say enough wonderful things. I am so very grateful! If you need a memory care facility for your loved one, I highly recommend ATF. The pictures are of the facility as well as a couple of my Mom in AFT before COVID prevented us from visiting. I look forward to being able to visit again. I loved visiting each week and participating in the various activities.

My aunt has been at Arbor Terrace Fairfax for three and a half years. She was one of the first people to enter when it opened in March of 2017. During this time she has been well cared for, the staff is very compassionate, and I have no concerns about her care and well-being. It has been a difficult time during covid as anyone with a loved one in long-term care facility knows. Arbor Terrace is doing all they can to keep everybody safe and engaged in living their life.

Arbor Terrace Fairfax has been a port in the storm for our family. We found ourselves suddenly needing memory care. They had room available and assisted with every step of the move-in process. My mom has been a resident for over a year. The care is outstanding, professional and loving! They are dedicated to the care of the resident and the needs of family members. If you need peace of mind knowing your loved one with memory issues is well cared for, Arbor Terrace Fairfax should be their new home!

It is obvious the staff care about the residents, know their preferences and needs, and try to accommodate as much as feasible. The facility has many activities and programs to keep the residents entertained. Music is so vital and pleasing and is often included in programs. The food is tailored to residents likes and specially prepared with pride. Arbor Terrace Fairfax is top notch

Advocating and caring for our seniors is what I am most passionate about! As a Registered Nurse and Certified Senior Advisor, it is important that I offer quality aging resources. The Arbor culture is amazing! The culture starts from the sheep in the front lawn, as you enter the front door of Arbor Terrace of Fairfax. Kim greets you with a smile and always engages in conversation. All front office doors are open and inviting, more importantly, I have observed on many occasions that these open doors promotes communication with their residents, care partners and resident family members. The dementia friendly layout, gem levels, separate neighborhoods, nursing oversight, activities and rehab support on sight are just a few of the reasons I have and will continue to refer. Thank you Arbor Terrace of Fairfax team for adding to the quality of life for our seniors with Dementia while maintaining their safety.

They truly care for the needs of each individual resident and their families providing tailored programs for memory care. Erika Young, the Executive Director and the staff at Arbor Fairfax believe in family. Their family focus and creating a home where all of the residents can age with dignity, especially with the cognitive challenges with this community, stays to life 24 hours daily. From the housekeeping, the dining, the CNA care, the nursing care, the activities, the Rehab group, to the front office staff, everyone wants to provide an extremely nurturing and inclusive atmosphere. The residents are shown so much respect and encouragement and Arbor Fairfax is a place I would recommend highly for your loved one who is in need of an experienced dementia only senior living community.

Arbor Terrace is a wonderful community that provides excellent services to seniors living with dementia. It was a much needed addition to the community. The staff are pleasant and supportive of residents and family and the leadership examples provided by the executive director and director of nursing are above none.

This community is absolutely wonderful. Having a friend or family member with Dementia can be hard in itself, however, ATF makes transition for your loved one a great experience. Staff are great, the food is amazing and the who community is beautiful and clean. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone!

I have had the privilege of working with Arbor company for over 5 years as a partner and have worked closely with Arbor Terrace Fairfax since they opened a few years back. As a partner in this community, we have seen the compassion and loving care from front line staff and leadership alike for residents. Arbor Terrace is an excellent facility for people with Dementia. The staff is a group of very caring, dedicated, and concerned people. I have observed how nicely they treat the residents as if they are a member of their family. The engagement activities appear to be very stimulating with most of the residents actively involved. The weekly field trips provide an opportunity for the residents to get a change of scenery and fresh air different from that offered on a daily basis at the facility. The outside entertainment brought in on a regular basis is exceptional. Residents are kept clean as are their rooms. I have never noticed an offensive odor. The entire environment is excellent; I highly recommend Arbor Terrace for your love one. 5 stars
