We have lived in the Alexandria are for over 15 years, and only heard fabulous things about Paul Spring! So, when Mom was ready to move into Assisted living, we knew exactly where she should be...Paul Spring! It's a wonderful place; Mom is enjoying herself and is thrilled to have her pet with her. The staff is thoughtful and go above and beyond to care for their residents.

I have recently started helping out in Paul Springs Business Office, and everyone in this facility is so nice. Each employee I pass in the hallway smiles and says hi to me. I have already met a bunch of them, and they did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable. I have seen their interaction with the residents and they are even more friendly if that is possible. The facility itself is beautifully kept and it is a joy to walk in there on the days Im helping out.

My mom recently had a fall and spent a few days in the hospital before going into rehab for a couple weeks. We knew she couldn't go back home to live by herself so we contacted Paul Spring, which is right in our current neighborhood. Ashley was able to see us very quickly and gave us a comprehensive tour. We moved my mom as soon as she got out of rehab into a lovely 1-bedroom apartment. It was clean and bright and move-in ready. My mom has really thrived since moving in and the care level is just what she needs. The nurses are caring and professional and keep in touch with me with any questions or concerns. My mom also talks about how good the food is and I have to agree. Overall, it's the best thing that's happened for my mom. I highly recommend Paul Spring. The entire staff is friendly, caring and professional and they couldn't have made the move in process any easier.

There are so many factors that contribute to a high productivity in an establishment among them is a conducive environment within which one is working. Paul Spring Retirement Community (PSRC) is a place to work. Everybody would want to be and work at a place where he/ she is well received and recognized. My short time work working at PSRC has given me a great peace of mind. From the top management (ED, DON, ADON, nurses, aides, maintenance department, housekeeping department, dietary department administration and what have you see themselves as one body working together as a team to achieve the company set goals. The involvement of the management in helping residents and even the aides tells you that the management really know what they are in for. Their approach to employees tells you down they are down on earth. No one see himself or herself as more superior than the other. It is the place where team work is morw conspicuous seeing ED, DON and others in the management team serving at dinning hall shows that only sky will be their last limit. I have never regretted joining this dynamic group of people at PSRC. I really love working at PSRC. Long live PSRC long live US of A.

I had a wonderful time playing piano at a Valentines Day special dinner recently. Pink roses for each resident, fantastic food, and lots of smiles as folks enjoyed 3 decades of love songs. The staff there is friendly and warm, expert at what they do, and very attentive and caring. The facility is beautiful too!

I toured Paul Spring with Ashley who is the Community Relations Director for the community. Ashley was engaging and was very knowledgeable regarding all my questions. The community is charming, I loved the wooded area and walking trails, I felt tucked away from the busy city area. Each staff member I met was very friendly and I also had the honor to eat lunch and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend scheduling a tour!

I moved my 86 year old mom here last week. This community exceeded my expectations, which were already high. Leslie Musser, my mom's "Ambassador," immediately came to our assistance, escorting her to lunch and happy hour and answering all of our questions. She even disposed of all our packing materials. The community residents have been friendly and kind. Kevin from maintenance went above and beyond to set up her cable. The nursing staff checked on her for the first 24 hours even though she is in the independent living area. She has a pendant to call for nursing help and will be getting PT and OT on the premises. My mom is really having fun and has forgotten she got cold feet right before the move. I am SO glad she made this decision, and it was so much easier because Paul Spring is such a nice place!

I have been working with Paul Spring for 10 years as a home care provider. Every time I walk into the building I feel like I'm walking into a friend's home. So warm, comfortable, and a friendly staff that begins at the front desk with Rachel. The residents seem happy there and the Nursing Staff under Terry's direction genuinely cares about the quality of life of the residents. I know this for sure because I work with the Nursing Staff directly. And when our clients need to move from home to an assisted living community we recommend Paul Spring.

Paul Springs helped us celebrate our mom's 90th birthday!! Thanks to Rachel at the front desk who knew how to connect me with Darnall. Darnall helped me set up the Friday afternoon celebration in coordination with the Friday happy hour-she is so terrific. Then on Friday Leslie and Lynn were fabulous!! They had everything ready for us to serve the cake. They helped us sing Happy Birthday and then they served cake to the 50 folks who were there enjoying the afternoon. I cannot say enough good things to let you know Paul Springs is top notch!! Thank you all so much! Monica and her family!!

Amazing support from the entire staff. When I told Ashley we needed to be moved in by week end and my Aunt was arriving with not much more than a toothbrush, she didn't blink an eye. A lovely and warm room awaited us. The nursing staff is understanding and supportive. Leslie led the way to orient my Aunt to her new home. Thank you for helping all of us adjust.

We moved our 99-year old mother into Paul Spring’s assisted living wing from another independent living facility in Maryland where she had been for 10 years. We were all very anxious about the move but the hard transition was made easier by all the friendly and helpful staff at Paul Spring. We were blessed to have several who seemed to take a personal interest in ensuring all went well. In particular, the Director of Nursing, Terry Ellison, is very warm and compassionate and developed a personal connection with mom, who is a retired nurse. Director of Community Relations, Ashley James, Nurse Ana, and “Ambassador” Leslie all provided unwavering support and a caring touch to help get mom oriented to her new surroundings. The facility is very nice but the thoughtful people working there is what makes it stand out!

I have lived at Paul Spring five years and loved every minute of it, all the staff are great, housekeeping and main. are wonderful, if you call main. with a problem in your apt. they are there with in the hour. Darnell is always happy, happy which makes you feel happy too. Theresa is always there if you need her and will help in anyway she can. I do not eat in the dining room, but when I do the food is great and server are very kind and willing to help.
