My brother and I toured a few assisted living places before deciding on Provo Assisted Living. From the very first meeting, Sherry was so kind and caring towards us. It was a clean and very well run facility. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and very efficient. My brother and his dog fit in and it felt like home almost immediately. My brother loved his room because he had door leading outside to his patio area, which was so convenient for his dog. I was worried about him, because he was not very social, but he immediately made friends and was starting to do the activities. His health took a turn, and Sherry and the staff went out of their way to help him in every way, even with his dog. I can’t thank them enough for helping my brothers time there a very enjoyable and positive experience.

I found Provo Assisted Living to be the very best choice for my uncle. The staff were friendly and patient, the facilities well-looked after, the food was great, and the atmosphere relaxed and family-like. The administrator, Sherry, was phenomenal in communicating with me and making my uncle's transition there as seamless as possible. I could see she really cares for and loves the residents there. I highly recommend Provo Assisted Living to those wanting a peaceful, individualized facility for their loved ones.

I have been at Provo Assisted Living for four and one half months. I am unable to walk, unable to leave my bed. I need daily care, care that PAL can provide for me. The aides have been helpful and rather friendly. The aides often have some nasty tasks to perform and do so without hesitation . I understand that such help is difficult to find and often the aides are short-staffed, thus each has much to do. My physical have always been met, and I well appreciate that which the aides have to do for me. Though I am 78 years of age, aside from not being able to walk, I am quite able to function mentally. And unlike some of the more decrepit aged, my taste has not withered. Sadly, that is a bane. This is the 5th care place I have been in these last 18 months—3 skilled nursing/rehabs and another assisted living. Meals in these places vary, the meals frequently prepared by unskilled kitchen staff. PAL has two preparers, they alternate. One preparer cannot cook, the other does better. One cannot make toast, neither place repairer can fry an egg. Both overcook vegetables to the point of nausea. Cauliflower turned brown. Broccoli cooked to mush. Three times now, corn cooked brown—no longer yellow. One can understand that some very elderly require soft food. One can only assume that is the reasoning to overcooking beef and pork to strings, so overcooked as for the meat to no longer have any nourishment, never mind not having any taste. Then the numerous, cost-cutting pasta. This week, one lunch was plain macaroni, seasoned by me with salt and pepper. Dinner that night was penne pasta mixed with something dry and white. Next lunch, penne paste with a little chicken Alfredo sauce. Next day spaghetti w ith a heavy tomato-paste-like topping, totally devoid of any seasoning. Salt is not used in the cooking, yet salt-laden potato chips are frequently the vegetable accompaniment. There is little regard to balanced diet, boiled sweet potatoes and scalloped white potato on the same plate. Well, I could continue, though I shall not. I have sent back far too many meals uneaten, far too many sorry I even tasted. I am extremely thankful for the friends that supply me with edible food and noshings. I do not how much weight I have lost since I arrived here. It has been sizable. Unwanted loss. My arms, my legs, my stomach have become flabby. I need care. PAL provides me with the physical help required.

My mother lived there for many years.until her passing in October 2020. The facility was always well kept and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would visit my mom once a week and got to know the staff pretty well. They would contact me if there were issues. And while any living quarters will have its issues, the management was generally very calm and positive in handling disagreements.My mom enjoyed her time there. She had many friends there.

I worked here as a CNA for 2 years. The facility has caring administrators and staff, and goes the extra mile to make sure residents feel at home. I think they are handling the COVID-19 pandemic very well. I would recommend this facility to a family member.

I just started working here after having experience working at 4 other providers over the past 8 years, I was blown away by the quality and customer care provided here.The food is exceptional quality. I have seen what kind of food is being served at several other facilities in Utah County, and I can assure you, Provo Assisted Living is doing a phenomenal job with their meals and service. The food smells and tastes excellent, it comes out hot, and they have great alternatives for people who have dietary needs.The facility also smells terrific, it is clean and does not smell foul, and has a warm and inviting feeling to the environment.The staff are hardworking, and supportive of one another, and really everyone works hard to help keep the residents happy, healthy, and feel right at home. Id easily recommend this facility for any loved ones of my own family, and look forward to spending my time working here for many years to come.

There is no other place I would want my loved ones. The building is clean and spacious. The staff is kind and loving. Ive been in many places around Utah Valley and this is my number 1 assisted living!

I have loved working here at PAL. The Residents are a joy to work with and everyone seems to have fun daily with activities. The management takes time to listen to Resident Concerns and Family needs are addressed immediately. The CNAs and staff really make this place feel like home.

PAL is one of the best assisted living facilities that weve had the pleasure of working with. The staff and administration are so friendly and easy to work with. I recall a young lady named Naomi that was just so friendly when she greeted us and introduced us to the administrator. The administrator answered all of our questions and made sure that any of the concerns we had for mom would not be an issue and her needs would be met. We absolutely love the lay out of the rooms and that mom can have some actual privacy and own bathroom. Such a great place. Out of all the facilities and options we had in the area, PAL was clearly the best choice and Im so glad we decided to go with PAL. We wouldnt have it any other way.

I have been at PAL for one year, the aids and medtechs show respect and kindness to us. our activities director, Geo has found fun and entertaining activities for us.( our monthly calendar is full). our managers Sherry and Thurman have an open door policy, which we can go talk to them when there are concerns or need help with personal issues. Good meals and a clean investment.

I worked as a CNA at this facility for almost a year and a half and was sad to leave when I did. The residents and staff try to treat each other like family which creates a great atmosphere. The facilities are spacious and well kept and they are currently in the process of expansion as well. I know that I and my previous coworkers care a lot about the residents and always do our best to help them which is why I would recommend this facility.

The building is beautiful with scenic views from large windows,and a nicely landscaped yard and parking area.The interior is well-furnished and decorated, yet funtional, and is kept clean and orderly.There are a variety of activities each day, supplemented by weekly field trips in the facility van.Administrators and other staff members arewelcoming to visiting family members.Meals are delicious and pleasantly served at separate tables.Jackie Starker

I had a great experience working at PAL. The facility itself is very nice with spacious rooms, a nice courtyard, and a large living room. Management, staff, and residents are all very friendly. Everyone makes you feel at home. Residents had so many options for fun activities (bingo, karaoke, arts and crafts, outings twice a week, etc.). Kitchen staff also provided delicious meals. This is a fantastic facility!

I have been involved with the residents at PAL for the past 4 years. I started out as a volunteer, then, I liked it so well that my mother, from California, was moved here. While my mother was here, she grew to love everyone, as did I. During that time, I was here on a daily basis and got to know all the residents and routines. There is a family atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is very friendly and respectful of the people who live there. I have recommended, to friends and family to bring their family members here.Before I became disabled, I worked in a variety of Assisted Living facilities as a Recreation Director. I am very impressed with the Recreation Director at Provo Assisted Living. Angie, is a very outgoing, loving and energetic woman. She is always, coming up with new projects and activities to keep the residents involved in enjoying their lives. There are a lot of young people that come in and sing on Sundays, and during the holidays.I would recommend that you come in and get to know the staff and residents.

PAL is a beautiful assisted living home. With the new expansions being made its going to be so nice. The food is good a lot like mamas home cooking. Dining takes place in a wide open area. The food is designed by a dietitian and alternatives are allowed. There is a huge great room in which residents gather to have fun. (We always have fun!) I have worked with Provo Assisted Living as an outsourced contractor for a few years now and have really enjoyed my association with Lon and what he has put together with this assisted living facility. I meet with Lon regularly to talk about the facility and the priorities he is working on with the care of the residents. I have been very impressed with how much he cares about each individual and resident. He knows them by name and knows how they are doing, where they have come from, and what is going on in their lives. I am impressed with Lon and believe that PAL is in great hands!

What a beautiful building. Right when I walked in I could see resident in the main lobby enjoy music being played on the piano. The staff is always very welcoming and knowledgeable on being able to help me with what I need. It has a very friendly and loving atmosphere.

Our House Assisted Living of Provo is unlike any other facility you will see in the area. The facility is beautiful with private rooms and bathrooms that are well maintained, a huge dining room with delicious meals provided three times a day by an excellent kitchen staff, and a comfy living room with a grand piano, big screen TV and even a wii gaming system! The care staff members are hard workers,quick to help and also form personal relationships with the residents making it feel just like home! Any new resident here will always feel like they have a friend in the staff and residents around them and with an extensive activities program there is always something fun to do! If you are looking for home, just come on over to Our House!

I am the Recreation Director at Our House Assisted Living of Provo and Ive been working at Our House for about a year now and Im happy to say that Our House does feel like a home now. I love my job because I love the people living here and the people who work here. I believe no matter what, there is always room for improvement so thats why I dont give a 5, otherwise, Id give a 5. I love that residents care about residents as much as I care about them. We work hard and we play hard and of course we sleep hard--its a good time.
