It was a difficult decision 5 years ago when the need arose to search for an assisted living facility in the St George area. There were many choices at the time but we have been reminded over the years many times how fortunate we were in having chosen the Haven at Sky Mountain. In today's environment there are no perfect facilities but the Haven continues to exhibit a professional yet family feel throughout the facility. We want to express our gratitude for their care of the last 5 years for my Mom. Here's hoping for many more to come!

Exceeded our expectations in every possible way -- twice. In case you're wondering what's the difference between The Haven Assisted Living Center and any other facility in Utah, it boils down to one word. LOVE The staff at The Haven truly LOVE their residents, and my wife and I will forever be grateful to them for openly showing their love to my mom as she suffered with end-stages Lewy-Body Dementia -- (a physically and emotionally challenging situation for both victim and caretaker). Finding a new home for mom was an extremely emotional and difficult decision, as mom and my sister lived in Salt Lake City, in the same home, for over 50 years. As my wife and I walked inside to tour The Haven -- it literally felt like heaven-on-earth, which our family so desperately needed at the time because time was running short. My sister, (mom's caretaker for 11 years) was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, making it physically impossible for her to care for mom. My sister fought a valiant battle with cancer, but as her time grew short, her last wish was to leave the hospital in SLC and be with our mom, (her best friend) again to say goodbye. Once again, the Lord and The Haven answered our prayers. They miraculously had a room available, directly across the hall from mom's memory care center to accommodate our desperate situation. Without hesitation, the staff went out of their way and into overtime to quickly get the room ready for my sister, where she was once again reunited with mom for two days before she passed away. Sadly for us, sixty-days later my mom would follow my sister to the other side to begin their new venture with my dad. Tears of gratitude continue to flow as we think of how the staff at The Haven lead us through some very difficult, emotional and trying times. We are forever in their debt. The wonderful staff at the Haven took great care of my parents for the last years of their lives. The kindness and love that they were given daily was delightful. The staff went beyond all expectations in caring for their every need. They also catered to their desires. They spent most of their years in the Memory Care unit, where the staff was exceptional. I am 84 years old. Fortunately, I have not needed an assisted care facility yet. However, in the facilities I have checked out, The Haven at Sky Mountain is absolutely the best. The food is outstanding, the residents are great and the staff is professional and compassionate!

Such a wonderful place for staffing and residents. The energy in the facility is kind, pleasant, and personable. Theres a brightness to the facility and within the staff from the top down. They know residents and their needs. The facility is newer and therefore up to date with an open feeling. The food is great and carefully thought through. Theyre tailoring to those with special dietary needs. I highly recommend any staff or resident whos looking for a good place to live for themselves or their loved ones.

I have worked in health care for 25 years. I had heard a lot of good things about the Haven but was skeptical. Every assisted living facility I have worked in was nice but lacked one thing or another. The Haven is immaculate.It has it all and more. Gorgeous inside and out. The billiard room, sewing room, dining facilities, work out room, the gorgeous full length fire place and many more areas are immaculate. The food taste likes FOOD and has so many choices of delicious dishes.its fine dining at its best. I have seen the owners work beside the employees like they were one of them. I have seen the CEO and Director put aside there own responsibilities and pitch in where needed with the residents as well as the employees. I have never seen a more amazing Memory care unit. There activities are skillfully planned and followed through To meet the needs of the residents.The memory care has one of the best units I have ever seen. They do activities to help with memory skills and the residents dont just sit in a chair watching tv all day. They bowl, color, dance, sing, throw balls and learn new skills. They have an amazing physical therapist on staff that works with those that need it. The Housekeeping gos above and beyond to make every room look spectacular and smell like a home. As we get older sometimes choices have to be limited. Not at the Haven. The choices are endless for the residents. When I enter those doors I feel like I have come home. Its a home for them and us. A place where love is abundant and choices are not taken away but choices are given and horizons dont end they are broadened. Employees will do more when they feel respected and appreciated. I have always felt appreciated and respected. They listen to my ideas and try there best to help me reach my goals. Whether it be school, home or work they want me to succeed. The Haven is the best place to work and to live.

The Haven at Sky Mountain is a clean and beautiful facility. The staff is very friendly and Kay does a great job in the kitchen. The residents appear happy and engaged as a community. They even have excellent services that are right there on site, such as a salon and outptient physical therapy services.

The Haven has such a beautiful atmosphere.I was in awe when I first toured it. I loved it so much that I quit my job and went to work at the Haven as Activities Director. We have so much fun together. We walk together and even do senior chair exercise, Tai Chi and Cardio Drumming. We enjoy travel tours, College courses and live entertainment. Bingo, Mexican Train and Bridge are popular games we play. We enjoy weekly scenic drives like Zion, Kanab & Mesquite. We have the best dining with food served all day and our chef creates fun Happy Hours and Holiday Spectacular Dishes. I cant say enough about how wonderful this place is. Come and tour and see for yourself.

I thoroughly enjoy working here. From day one not only the staff has treated me like family but the residents were so welcoming. When people say that their family is treated like family here, they truly are because I know that I feel a connection to every single one of the residents here. This is the only facility I know of were the owner actually comes in and works from this facility every day. But to reiterate the staff truly love the residents here and you can tell it just by the way they act towards them and how they know every single resident by name. I know if my parents were still around I would have loved to have had them in this facility. There is a reason why the Haven was voted the best of southern Utah and if anyone out there is looking to need to put a family member in a facility like this, please come check us out and you wont want to go anywhere else.

I have worked at the Haven for almost 9 months now, and have always been expected to treat the residents how we would want our grandparents to be treated. The CNAS all truly love and support the residents with everything that we have, as well as the rest of the Haven Staff. We are a well kept , very clean, high maintenance facility, and we love being here so much.The bonds we build with residents is truly a beautiful thing.the food is outstanding , as well as the entertainment. Youre greeted with big smiles , the second you walk through our front doors. we have a salon, and a built in store available to residents , as well as several laundry rooms , activitie rooms , a beautiful dining looking out at the mountains. do-able parking , and a well kept yard.If i didnt work at the Haven , and just seen this facility, it would definitely be one of my first choices to movemy parents , or grandparents.

I have been a resident at the Haven for about a year. Its just like family here. All the residents and staff are wonderful and willing to visit and help. The food is delicious! The management is very helpful and they always make time for me. I recommend anybody that is looking for an assisted living community to check out the Haven in Hurricane!

What a breath of fresh air!!! This place is bar none the nicest facility in the entire state of Utah - even in the country!!!!! The facility itself is clean, well maintained and always looks neat and tidy. My parents apartment is probably the best one in the building, though they all have great views and features! The freedom they have to come and go as needed is incredible.The food there is amazing! They can order from a menu eat anytime of the day! The people at the Haven are all incredibly caring and attentive to their needs wish we knew about this place sooner!I have absolutely ZERO complaints!

Beautiful facility! Awesome food! The food is 5-star level because of the focus the Chef and the facility have on ensuring The Haven is more than a care facility - it a happy home (Haven). Sometimes I visit for the primary purpose of the food then visit.They are independent living, assisted living, and memory care but feels like a resort.

After much research and discovery I can recommend The Haven with the highest degree of excellence in every category that we as a family were looking for and believe me were picky.
