I gave three stars only because a few people that work there actually care and try to do a good job. Their long term care sucks. They send a patient to a specialist or ER and then don't do what the specialist or ER doctor orders. They do not accompany the patient to the ER or doctor so they can discuss problem and treatment options. Tests are done and then results are never addressed. People that need extra help just have to wait until someone gets around to them. The place is filthy. They have no paper towels, or anything to clean with. I often used bum wipes to wipe our family member's eating table off and removed moldy items (from spills that were never cleaned up). They dump medical supplies all over everything and leave trash on the floor. I doubt they ever had him bush his teeth as they were always filthy. They change personnel and admins frequently, and new nurses had no idea how to take care of special needs. It was a constant fight trying to get them to do anything helpful until he died. Not one person called about his death - not even a form letter was sent. If there had been anywhere better than this in the area he would have been moved, but the other nursing home is run by the same company.

Norma with transport is awesome! She stays with patient's as they check in and assures they are in the right hands, and gives both the patient and the office she visits comfort in knowing the patient is cared for. Great job to Norma and what a gem to this company!

I also got good vibes when I walked into the facility on Thursday when she was admitted. Very friendly and professional staff. You guys are amazing people. Thank you for all you do.

There was a gas leak this morning and we were evacuated to the community center. They evacuated the whole place in literally 20 minutes. Impressive. They kept there cool so we were not distressed at all. Thank you Hurricane Health and Rehab. Jason the new administrator is the best thing to happen yo this is place.

Everyone here is very courteous and respectful. Physical therapists, nurses OT therapist, some of the most kind, fun, best CNAs ever! I've been here over a month and I would recommend coming here for rehabilitation. The people here make getting better easier!

I am Marilyn Collinwood a former student of the Gerontology program and familiar with rehab facilities. Chad Collinwood is my son who has Cerebral Palsy. We toured the facility and found it to be clean, friendly with knowledgeable staff and administration. Chad stayed at Hurricane Rehab for a week of respite care while his father and I were out of the country on a Humanitarian Service project. Upon our return Chad said I am not leaving here this is now my home. Chad has been well taken care of over the past four years. We would highly recommend Hurricane Rehab to anyone who is looking for a friendly, clean and family environment.

The admissions staff at Hurricane Health and Rehab was fabulous. They went above and beyond helping me navigate for my special needs brother who was injured while vacationing in Texas. We had a very short timeline to work with to get back to Utah in time for my mother's funeral. The director of nurses and the rest of the staff worked after hours and jumped through hoops to help us during our time of need. We were able to get insurance authorization and get him settled. Once here the nurses were amazing in my at helping him work through the transition of hospital to rehab. Very friendly environment and a nice overall feel.

Hurricane health and rehab is one of the best facilities to work at. I love interacting with all of my coworkers and getting to know the patients and residents on a completely different level. I have worked here for a few years now and I honestly don't see myself leaving to go somewhere else. The administration doesn't only care about the money, they care bout their employees, patients, and residents.

My brother, who has special needs, was visiting Houston and got an infection that turned septic and ended up in the hospital. When it came time to release him to a skilled nursing facility, we wanted to bring him home to Utah in time for our mother's funeral. Hurricane Health and Rehab had people come in after- hours to get my brother admitted in time to attend her funeral . They went above and beyond the call of duty

I am grateful for the opportunity to write a review in regards to Hurricane Health and Rehab. I had the pleasure of working with the residents and staff at HHR for four years. I am so grateful for the staff and all their hard work in making HHR a home to so many people in the Hurricane Community. Every building has their ups and downs but there is not another team I'd want to work with through those times. I would recommend HHR to any looking for a loving family environment for their loved ones or for someone looking to find a job worth doing. Hurricane Rehab changed my life forever and it will always hold a place in my heart.

I have worked at in multiple facilities over the last couple of years and HHR is the one I would recommend first every time! HHR is a family environment. They treat staff and residents with the care they would give their own loved ones. If you, or a loved one, are in need of extra care Hurricane Health and Rehab should be the first call you make!

I have worked at hurricane health and rehab for over 5 years. I started in January 2014 and in June I was in a awful motorcycle accident the result of the loss of my husband. I came back to hurricane health and rehab to get therapy without the awesome therapy department along with all the staff helping me I returned back to work in September working full time as the dietary manager .I wouldn't be where I am today. They are my family and my awesome coworkers. Without them I don't know where I would be I love to work with my family and friends. We provide the best care with lots of love and concern for all.

Hurricane Rehab is one big family. My grandmother received excellent end of live care. I have had my mother and 2 daughters to work along side here. Hurricane Health and Rehab maintains a level of care that is un-matched in the United States of America. My needs are always met in a timely manner and completed in a fashion with which I haven't any complaints. The management and staff are very respectful towards me, and if I have any grievances they're dealt with professionally and properly. The care offered is very professionally administered and thorough. The food is generally very good, but if one truly doesn't like what is on the menu, one does have the option and opportunity to suggest something that is more to their liking. The activities are geared to appeal to the elderly, but can be fun to all ages depending on if the younger resident chooses to embrace the activity. It's entirely the individuals right to choose whether or not they want to participate. All in all, I would recommend this facility to anyone that requires a high level or care.

My experience has been great! They have great managers and staff. I feel like the management team listens to concerns and performs above and beyond to meet people's personal requests. I also appreciate how friendly everyone is and how clean the building is. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility.

I've grown up in this facility, my mom worked here for almost 18 years, it's part of the reason I became a CNA and I've had the privilege of working here for 2 years now, Hurricane Rehab isn't just a place to work, we are a family! I love working here! I can honestly say that my co-workers are amazing! I feel honored and privileged to rub shoulders with such fantastic clinicians. The director of nursing, Tyler, leads with confidence and respect. He exhibits genuine concern not only for the staff members but for the patients and families we care for. Tracey, the administrator, is outstanding! He deals with making tough decisions, intense pressure, and managing problems. Even in the most difficult circumstances he cleaves to his integrity! He knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way! As leaders, Tracey and Tyler are the dynamic duo! They both know the power of positivity and fun! They facilitate a positive work culture environment that brings out the super hero in each employee which fosters meaningful relationships and high quality patient care ! Hurricane Health and Rehabilitation is an excellent facility, from management to the nurses to the CNAs all the way to housekeeping and laundry are nothing but helpful and kind, I had not had physical therapy in a very long time and because of the physical therapy department I went from being a 3-man transfer to now transferring on my own and it's only going to get better with the new edition that the facility is receiving thank you for all the love and support you guys are giving me I appreciate it.

I would like to start of by saying that I had both of my parent's at Hurricane Health and Rehab. My mother had a major stroke and lived in Price, UT at the time it occurred. I had just started CNA school on my path to my Nursing career. I made a phone call to the facility not even sure of what I needed to do or how to start the process. I went to see my mother at Price hospital and speak with my father about bringing her to Hurricane. Our family agreed and when we told the staff at the hospital that HHR is where she would go for rehab. Staff at HHR had already called and sent all the necessary paper work over. Being a single mother of three this took so much stress off plate. I became a CNA after my school was finished and was employed by HHR. This helped me in the care of my mother and gave me a piece of mind to see her progress. Life was good and my mother was receiving the best care I could have imagined. My mother was on her way to recovery and then my father became ill. We received the news that he had an aggressive cancer and did not have long to live. I then turned to my family at HHR to provide the end of life care my father would need. On December 18th we received his diagnosis by January 3rd he was gone from this world. His last days were spent with my mother by his side at Hurricane Health and Rehab. The staff went above and beyond to help my family. Just like family does. We felt loved and truly cared for during this process. My mother made a wonderful recovery and was able to regain functions she had not had in years. Thanks to the whole entire staff at Hurricane Health and Rehab.
