I have been touring Independent Living Communities for awhile and this was the first one that felt like a home away from home. Residents and staff were wam, genuinely friendly and welcoming. Logan, Community Sales Director , was expertly knowledgeable, fun and obviously compassionate about representing this company. I would highly recommend you make a visit if you are looking for a clean, modern and homing location to live yourself or for a loved one!

My parents are in the process of moving in. Brad has been absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to get them the best deal possible, patiently answering our many questions, and touring us twice! His kindness and genuine compassion are greatly appreciated! After two years, I would still choose to live at Brookdale Clear Lake. The reasons I am happy to stay here: The residents who have become friends; the friendly, helpful staff; the good food; the variety of activities; our four beautiful courtyards; the location near medical facilities and shopping. Like any place, Brookdale Clear Lake is not perfect. But the good things make up for any deficiencies.

Some probably applause that attitude, I personally find it restrictive, and infringes on my personal rights.

Nurse Kelly is most amazing and super resourceful. We ate together with her and our loved one. Shrimp and grits, and fried mushrooms are delicious. Staff is kind and understanding, they are all going out of their way to make you feel welcome and home.

First, I have to say that the Brookdale community itself is a great community. It’s aesthetically nice but also has a very warm and welcoming vibe. I’ve toured the community on multiple occasions and cannot stress enough how polite and helpful everyone I met there who is on staff, but also the residents all seem genuinely happy. The cafeteria has great food which you think is extremely important. I would also like to add that Ali, Brad, and Rebecca are a pleasure to work with and I would gladly trust them all to care for my loved ones. I would absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking for a new home. Don’t take my word for it, book a tour and see for yourself. Great job Brookdale!

Brookdale Clear Lake is a genuinely nice facility”clean, well-kept, and welcoming. The environment itself is exactly what you’d hope for in senior living, with comfortable spaces and a friendly atmosphere. However, my experience has been that actually getting staff to follow through on basic responsibilities is surprisingly difficult. Communication often feels one-sided, with repeated reminders needed before things get done. At over $3,000 a month, you’d really expect better consistency, more responsiveness, and a greater sense of accountability. This isn’t about expecting perfection”just a higher level of effort and attention that matches the premium price. If management focused more on conflict resolution and follow-through, Brookdale Clear Lake could easily be one of the best options around.

It’s a really great place. There’s always a lot of activity, and the personalities here are a lot of fun. The employees are very fun and helpful and I really love the open air here. The crawfish fundraiser was amazing!!

My mother has now lived there 4 years! The biggest problem there is raising the rent every year! She pays $700 dollars more monthly than she did 4 years ago! And they want to raise it again this next year almost $300 dollars more a month! Taking advantage of seniors! My mom is 96 years young!

Nice residents and staff, but poorly run. This facility is OLD and has many maintenance problems. A/C and heating units do not have adequate filtering. Upkeep overall is lacking and the food in the dining room leaves a lot to be desired. This is Brookdale Corporation fault.

My name is Beverly Brock. My mom now lives at the Brookdale senior living on Bay Area Blvd. in Webster, Tx. I’m not usually a person who takes the time to write a review, but in this case I feel it’s absolutely necessary. My mom is 85 years old and has many issues she has to deal with. It was very important that we find her a home where she could still have her independence, but also have a very safe environment. My daughter in San Diego, CA actually found this beautiful place on line. Brookdale Senior Living in Webster, Tx is a Rare Jewel among the many places available for our dear older loved ones. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was treated as if my mom already lived there. My first contact person was Diana Jones. Although I was just a walk in and had no appointment, she immediately sat down and took the next hour to answer all my questions and even show me one of the apartments. Her kindness and professionalism is something I have not seen in a very long time. As she filled me in on all the answers to my concerns,, I felt in my heart this was the perfect choice for my mom. Diana even helped us contact a company that has helped my mom get the help that was available to her as a widow to help her with living expenses.. When I came back with my mom the next day, the staff at the front office remembered both our names. I thought that was amazing in the world we live in today. The maintenance staff were prompt and professional. I have to say that this experience has been so comforting and Heartwarming. My mom has gained a beautiful home with a staff of workers that you can tell love their jobs and the dear ones they care for. It has been a blessing for my mom and for me and my husband because she also gets the necklace that she wears that is valuable because if she does fall she can get help 24 hours a day. Brookdale Senior Living has really gone to great lengths to assure these dear older ones feeel safe, happy and surrounded by others who really care. I’m so thankful to have my mom there. ’•

My parents and uncle have lived in this facility and been very pleased. Here’s what we have liked: the staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. There are a variety of floor plans and prices. They also have a good maintenance department, secure parking, well lit parking and walkways, numerous laundry rooms, a reasonable diet/variety of served meals and available snacks, optional personalized services for medical needs and help, a wide variety of social events both at the property and off-site, included bus/van services for shopping, scheduled for many medical appointments, entertainment and eating out, an exercise room and exercise classes, a swimming pool, putting green, beauty/barber salon, library and several gardens. This is a friendly place to live and 55+ folks can be as busy and involved as they like. They also allow small pets and there are many friendly dogs and a dog park. The price has been very reasonable for the size of the apartments and all the amenities. We highly recommend Brookdale of Clear Lake to our friends looking for a close place for their 55+ relatives.

My neighbor (Gene Kranz) brought his sister down from Ohio some 20yrs ago and got her a place in this setting which was my first introduction to such a nice transitional location. Since that intro the name & ownership has changed to Brookdale, but the services have only gotten better. Four years ago my father-in-law (widower) decided to sell his home in San Marcos and move here to Brookdale Clear Lake-Rm #1218, whose name is Don Smith. The services are great as is the food.
