I cant say enough about the wonderful employees and residents at Brookdale Lake Brazos. They made Leslies dreams come true. She loved the activities, the friends, and the freedom of living alone. We were always comfortable, knowing she was being well cared for. Thank you for all you do!

The people at Brookdale are what make the difference! Moving a parent or loved one to a facility is a difficult decision to make. We have found the staff at Brookdale truly care about the residents, which has made the transition so much easier. They show residents respect and treat them like family. My mom has been able to maintain the freedom of living alone but I have the peace of mind that she is moments away from help if needed(just the touch of a button). I can call, and staff is happy to check on her if I am unable to reach her for some reason. Mom loves the interaction she has with other residents during meals and made good friends quickly. She really likes the food too(never wants to miss a meal)! I happen to be writing this during the COVID-19 pandemic, and have been most appreciative how the staff at Brookdale has stepped up during this chaotic time up to protect residents and serve them even more than usual (taking over many tasks families normally help out with). Im so grateful!

We feel like the luckiest family! As a former medical professional, I'm particular about healthcare, cleanliness, safety and emotional welfare. Dad loves his apartment, the food and the staff. The staff make him feel like family and they are sincerely concerned about him and care for him. It's a clean, safe place that reminds us of our hometown. Dad is encouraged to be as independent as he can be with assistance seconds away. There are wonderful activities, a movie room and plenty of socializing. I go to sleep at night and know he's in good hands. ??

I am a new resident as of 2 months ago....I have a so much fun every day! Made lots and lots of new friends! Food is Great and the Staff takes such good care of me! My family and I couldnt be more pleased with this facility!

We recently moved our 84yr old Mom into Brookdale.....This place is Beautiful, The Residents are a Pure Joy, The Staff is THE BEST and very Attentive to Moms needs. Shes not had one complaint! When we knew mom was going to need more assistance that we could provide her at our home we started looking at assisted living facilities. The staff at Brookdale are very kind and engaging, the facility is clean and well maintained. We had a delicious lunch in the dinning room with a few of the residents they were all very sweet. Lisa went out of her way in helping make this all possible with multiple tours, great advice, and unmeasurable patience. I feel very confident that my mom will be well taken care. Had a meeting first off with Lisa Dunn regarding a place for my 92 year sister who lives in OK. Lisa was very informative and kind to give my husband and I a tour of the facilities. We brought my sister for a visit and she was very pleased with the tour and the chef provided lunch. Although my sister was unable to workout her finances to move, this was the place we would have chosen. Not only the pretty and clean facility, but the friendly residents encouraging my sister to join them, and Lisa and Sharons helpfulness.

I attended Brookdales friends and family Thanksgiving meal with my Mom who is a resident. It was lovely!! Table cloths, fresh flowers, a young man playing a guitar, the ambiance was truly delightful. Lets not forget the food, fork tender roast turkey, ham, dressing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green beans, mixed vegetables, rolls , gravy, it was all piping hot and delicious. And of course yummy pie. It was especially nice to have students from Baylor College serving food to the residents. Ooops, mac and chee too. Congrats Brookdale on a very successful evening. Cant wait for Christmas. Lastly the dining room was full of folks laughing and chatting. So cozy! Thanks

This is a very friendly and active assisted livings I have ever been at. There is always something going on. Residents here are very involved in the programs that are offered. All employees LOVE the residents here. Brookdale is a place I would like to be when I start looking for an assisted living!

As an outside health provider I have had such pleasure being in that building and seeing the attention that not only guests are greeted with, but also the care and compassion for the residents who call Brookdale home!

A little slice of heaven here on Earth , my mom loves the peaceful, idyllic setting - 12 treed acres on the banks of the Brazos river. The friendly, caring and professional staff is wonderful, always eager to help and to make her feel welcome every step of the way. Great communication with me as we coordinate her care. Plenty of events/activities help her make new friendships and really become part of the community. So happy with our choice.

I HIGHLY recommend Brookdale Lake Brazos!! My mother-in-law has been there for about 7 months and she has adjusted well. She is not the friendly, out going type, as she has lived alone for quite sometime. She has made some friends, but the staff has taken her in and given her the kindness and understanding she needs to feel useful and valued. I can't say enough about the support staff! They have several choices at meal time that always look so appetizing. They play bingo twice a week and have parties, educational programs, gardening, entertainment and dances. All of this keeps her body busy and her mind stimulated. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

My wife's mother Gayle joined the community at Brookdale Lake Brazos in mid October and we could not be happier! The facility is very nice and is located on peaceful spot on the water. What really makes the difference for us is the committed, talented and very pleasant staff! They have taken Gayle under their wing and helped quickly acclimate and socialize. Shortly after Gayle arrived they had a wonderful fall festival. There are lots of activities and support right on site and just this past week there was a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner that family members were invited to attend. We highly recommend Brookdale Lake Brazos!

Brookdale Lake Brazos is my home away from home!!! I love coming to work everyday to see the smiles on all the residents faces. I admire these residents and will continue to do so for many years to come. I could not ask for a better community to work with as their nurse. My husband and I moved here 8 years ago and found complete security and comfort. Repairs are only a call away, the apartment is cleaned every two weeks and life is so easy. Our children were pleased to see us in a comfortable, secure environment where they would not have to worry about us. We got rid of our car about three years ago and found with the transportation provided here we could get along just fine without it. My husband died in Oct 2016 and my neighbors were so very helpful. A terrific place to live.

The assisted living has been such a good fit for my parents. They feel safe and at home and love the food as well.

My family is so happy with Woodland. It's such a beautiful place with such friendly people. There's lots to do and the food is quite good. If you or your loved one is looking for a place to live that's for seniors, I recommend Woodland.
