This community is amazing. My mother feels safe and at home. She has good friends and has re-engaged with life. She is healthier than she has been in a decade. The staff are very caring and work hard for the residents. They are exceptional. As a family member I know mother is safe, loved and happy and that means a lot. This is a wonderful spiritual community.

We are so happy with our experience at Asher Point so far! In less than a week, my mom has already made friends, learned new games, and is eating almost all three meals each day. Most importantly, she genuinely seems happier and more engaged with life again. She’s staying active with daily walks and activities, and she even laughs that she hasn’t had much time to unpack or do laundry because she’s always busy doing something. Seeing her socially connected, active, and enjoying each day has been such a blessing for our family. I truly feel like being at Asher Point will add years to her life because she’s no longer isolated ” she has companionship, purpose, and something to look forward to every day. We are incredibly grateful for the caring environment and wonderful community.

It was a hard decision to move Mom into an independent living facility, which we referred to as apartments, but with Asher Point, they made it almost seamless and so welcoming. It took Mom a while to adjust, but once she did, they became her second family. Not only did she have fun at all the activities, she started thriving and made so many meaningful friends that supported her. A few highlights for her was the church service and Bible study each week. A lot of the activities are themed which excited her to be involved. Before long she was known as the dancing queen. She had supplemental care by GENEVA and her aides. All the ladies provided great care and a bond took place overtime, and for that, our family was so grateful. The staff at Asher Point are caring, kind and considerate of all the residents and aim to make it a facility that makes the transition from leaving home to becoming a second home for their residence. It was convenient for her to have her nails and hair done at the in house salon so that was a bonus and the Walmart trips provided by the shuttle service was also a nice weekly outing. Overall, the community vibe, once Mom was a resident, is what made this a special place for her!

Our mom’s experience with this community has been wonderful! We were warmly welcomed and guided by LaTisha Cartwright and Chaka Johnson who are very professional, attentive and kind. The culture of care and responsiveness reflect strong, compassionate leadership that continues with other staff members such as Ria and Patrice. Everyone goes above and beyond to consider residents opinions and create meaningful opportunities for all- she has made so many friends and has a real community now. Joshua Ball is quick to take care of maintenance needs and Dennis McKee creates wonderful meals while accommodating special dietary needs. We enthusiastically recommend Asher Point- it has truly felt like a home and family to our mom!

We have been very impressed with Asher Point. It is obviously a beautiful, clean, well kept facility, but more importantly its staff is very professional and caring. Everyone we have had conversations with who works there has been extremely friendly and kind. They have plenty of events and daily activities to keep their residents entertained and social. My husband died after we had been married 52 years. We absolutely loved the place we were living. After six months I knew I needed a new community that would allow me to have a new beginning. That community ended up being Asher Point. You’re met with a warm greeting and an enthusiastic staff. I simply love being here. My room is an open floor plan that allows me to maneuver my rollator safely. The food is very good and there are activities for everyone. Just pick and choose what you enjoy! I have made so many friends that I truly cannot count them all. My personal goal is to make many more! Thank you Asher Point for being the type of community that allows new beginnings!

The cleanest, well staffed, and well decorated assisted living facility that I have been in! The staff genuinely care for the residents. There is a nurse with an amazing voice that was singing to a resident while walking her down the hall I'm very impressed with Asher Point!

As we live outside the United States, it was especially challenging to manage everything from afar “ but the team at Asher Point in Tyler Texas made it so much easier. I looked at multiple locations before my father and I decided to get a room at this facility. I have been pleasantly surprised by how well the staff take care of this complex. Not only have they always taken care of the facility they watch after all of the tenants in ways that assure that our loved ones are truly looked after and protected. The food is great as well as the friendly staff. I have been very pleased for over a year and feel confident that this facility will only continue to improve in the future.

We started our search for a retirement living community in Tyler. We visited several centers and Chaka and Dusti along with the welcoming residents, quickly let us know where we wanted our loved one. The beautiful newly remodeled facility gives a light, airy, uplifting, feeling that I know creates a positive attitude in the residents. The layout that connects the different activity areas that overlook the balcony to the atrium and dining room provide an inclusive atmosphere. If you were in the exercise room, library, putting together a puzzle, sitting in the living area or the game room you aren’t closed off. The dining tables are set with detail for each meal creating a sense of importance for each resident as they enter. I could say more about the facility, but The real reason for choosing Asher was the employees. Friendly, quick to respond, hard-working, positive, caring toward the residents, quick intelligent answers to our many questions and patience with us, let us know that we wanted Chaka, Dusti and the other friendly employees caring for Laura. Basically the staff is friendly. I believe food served is not done on nutritional guidelines for seniors. There are lots of senior activities to keep us busy with our minds. We play games and I've made new friends. Outside scenery is beautiful. They gave me balloons for my birthday. Being renovated. Under new management.

The office staff are friendly, but there are issues. They have a new management company, but don't try to reach them, they don't answer phone calls or return them. I believe local staff has issues with management company too because when there is a problem or issue, that's where the fault falls. There are building issues, it's not falling down, but needs some repairs and updating. There are financial issues, food issues, short staffed etc. I've seen worse places, but after 7 months, we moved my mom in with us.

Dad lived there for 2.5 years until he was 93. The staff is very responsive and really enjoyed helping their community. They always have something going on for the residents. I would have breakfast and lunch with dad often. Always good food. Thanks and gratitude to the staff and residents.

The food, much of it, I cannot eat although I pay for it. My apartment is too small for my needs and no storage space. Too high rent. I cannot settle here and be happy or content.

Rosewood allows my mom to live free of worries as there are so many things to keep her mind and body involved. I'm proud that she calls it home. I was scared at first. But now I know how well the entire staff treats her better than family. This place is hands down. Top notch. I love my mom and I sleep better knowing she love her new pad.

This place is nice. I don't live here, but I have friends here, and they like it. I think it takes a bit of getting used to the idea of not living in your own home any more. The staff here tries hard to make sure everything runs smoothly, my friends say. The little efficiency-type apartments are cozy and comfortable. There is a dining room which serves three meals a day, and you can also order from a limited menu, if you don't happen to want the main dish. Just think - no cooking! You can "eat out" every day! This is definitely a place I would enjoy! Activities are regularly scheduled, there is a van that will take you to the mall, doctor's office, and other places, and there are church services held in the little chapel. The people I have met seem to be happy!

Rosewood Estates has a very professional team working to make sure that every resident is taken care of in the best way. It is a very upbeat and fun place to live( you can tell by visiting with the residents). Everything is kept so clean, and everyone is so friendly!

I was greeted upon arrival by the young lady administrator, Jan. She was quite friendly, escorted us to her office where she took plenty of time to share with us all the positive aspects of Rosewood Estates. After that, she took my daughter and I on a tour of the facility and allowed us to see what my apartment would look like should I decide to rent there. I cannot say enough about her patience and willingness to see that all I need can be provided at Rosewood. The friendliness not only of the staff, but other residents as well, plus the spaciousness of the apartment, all aided in my decision to make Rosewood Gardens my forever home from this point forward.

I've been going to this establishment for a decade or less both my grandma and great aunt lived there. Sharing an apartment after grandma passed in 2017 my great aunt moved to a smaller apt. The people that work there are nice and their service is actually above and beyond their capabilities...
