Only about the money! My brother died early March. They said we were due a prorated refund end of April. [name removed], [name removed] & corporate wont respond to calls & emails about the refund. Obviously they intend to keep the $1500. Don't trust them, once you no longer have a loved one there they don't care what happens to your money. Liars!!

My Mom was here for almost two years, and there were great employees and employees who didn't really care about their job. The worst part was the constant turnover so you were always trying to learn how the new people operated. There were also three Directors there in less than two years. Again, alot of turnover. When the new Director decided they could no longer care for my Mom as her dementia increased and health decreased, we received an eviction notice with 30-days to vacate. No call, just an email, which was very unprofessional. Also when we did leave, the Director there tried to offer a refund that was way less than what we were owed. We had to quote their own contract back to them to explain what we were owed. We had to call and email repeatedly to get our refund, and it finally appeared one day without any communication.

My Grandmother in law has been in the memory care unit 8/23 and we could not be more happy. The staff is wonderful and caring They have gone above and beyond anything I ever expected.

I wrote a very favorable review of this facility when my sister first became a resident back in July of this year. To confirm initial impressions, I wanted to follow up with an update on the care my sister is now getting. Our family feels extremely blessed to have my sister in this facilities. She has been so well looked after and cared for in all aspects of her life. She loves the balanced meals the chef prepares, absolutely enjoys the social life and activities provided by the facilities (big shout out to Jamie - the activities director), and the care givers and nurses are second to none. They do so much to help oversee my sisters health (which is in a compromised state) while still providing her with space and respect. Its such a fine line to balance but they seem to do it with ease. All this takes place under great leadership. I have been so impressed with Stephanie the Director of the facilities and her right hand person Brianna. They are both readily available at all times and quickly address any concerns. They ensure there is great communications among the staff as well as the residents. I have observed many times all the staff members (including the upper leadership) discussing issues with residents and giving them sincere care, concern and respect. I frequent this facilities several times a week at random times as my schedule allows. Not once have I ever observed anything but the absolute best from the New Haven staff. As stated at the beginning, we are truly blessed to have my sister residing at New Haven- Tomball. I strongly endorse and recommend this facility and only wish there was a higher rating than 5 stars!

I had to make a quick decision for my 81 year uncle who’s Heath had deteriorated fast. The staff at New Haven Tomball took him in with open arms immediately. The staff, from maintenance to culinary, nursing, and Essex management, immediately built an incredible rapport with my unruly and cantankerous uncle and made him feel at home. When I pick him up, he wants to go back. When I ask him to leave, he doesn’t want to go. He is watching sports on tv and reading the new paper which he hasn’t done in years. The facility is exceptionally clean. The staff goes above and beyond with communication and genuine kindness. My uncle says it is the best food in the world. He is the happiest I’ve seen him in years even with lung cancer and Parkaensins disease. My husband is a firefighter and paramedic and has been in many elderly facilities. He says by far this is the most impressive. We both sleep easy at night knowing he is in good hands at New Haven Tomball.

Our family member was a resident of New Haven for two years before she recently passed away. Being a smaller facility than some, New Haven provides personal care in an easy and relaxed setting. With the relativity new administration, all of our mothers needs were met and staff and administration were available to hear and act on any concerns. The most valuable asset that New Haven holds are the committed staff who took time and developed caring relationships with our mother and had a deep interest in her well being. This was critical to my peace of mind as I live across the country and could not be readily present. My thanks go out to those special caregivers.

We would like to thank New Haven for taking care of our loved one so well! Any issues or concerns weve had have been addressed immediately and recitified. The caregivers take time to know their new residents and the families. Ms. Briana is absolutely fantastic! Any time we call or text, she gets back to us in a timely manner and makes sure we have everything we need. Thank you new haven for making this an easy decision!

My mother was at this facility for the period of one (1) year to date. She was admitted on February 3, 2020 and passed away on February 3, 2021. The staff took extremely good care of my mother and believe me I was there every day at least three (3) times a day before COVID. With regards to the staff, I would recommend them to everyone. They treated my mother with respect and kindness even when she was being difficult. They helped me to understand her illness better as they as they answer a ton of my questions and watch me cry numerous time and extended sympathy and understanding. The management is a whole different issue however. As stated my mother passed on February 3, 2021 and we had ALL of her belongings out by February 5, 2021 and we have contact the facility via email and telephone to find out about our refund for February and as of the date of this review we have not received any response or funds. Nor have we received any communication expressing sympathy or condolences from them. We have received numerous cards and calls from the staff regarding her passing but no one from management. My personal belief is this is unacceptable for a company who is in this industry. During one of the most difficulty times of my life I have to track down and hound them to get a refund!!! Not acceptable at all. Again, the staff is exceptional and they go above and beyond.

This place is wonderful and the staff is awesome. It is always difficult to put your loved ones in a place where they give up their independence. However, Shanna and her team make it easy. My mother-in-law is well taken care of and they adjust to her not the other way around. They are quick to recognize medical problems and always caution on the side of being safe. The facility is immaculate. During this time of COVID they have made the best of what limitations they have to work with as far as family interaction. Would highly recommend this facility for anyone needing assisted living.

My mom lives here and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The rooms are smaller but she doesn't stay in their much. They always had a good ratio of staff to patients. Their new management is awesome and we receive weekly email updates. The food is home cooked and they feed guests for free. The staffing is ratio is the lowest I've ever heard of, about 3-4 to 1. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the new places, but the staff will love your parent. That is really what is important after all.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and so far we are comfortable with the care she has been receiving. The staff have a big turn over recently so I am not to familiar with the current staff but I am hoping they stay. She has had no complaints about the meals and participates in the activities she is able too. Overall its been a decent experience and I have high hopes for my mom in this place.

This was a very nice community. I just did not feel like this was the right fit. I wanted a bigger community and this one is fairly small. One of the residents showed us there apartment and the staff was really good about answering all questions.

This is the first community we had experience with when we had to move my parents out of their home, and they did a great job. They were very accommodating, and receptive to our needs, and really helped us through our initial worries.
