My 93 yr old father is staying in the Memory Care Unit at The Village at Sugar Land. The unit is set up in a secure environment. There is plenty of room for the residents to move around which includes an outdoor area to enjoy when the weather is nice. The staff are engaging and keep the residents busy with a varity of activies. Residents are encouraged to eat together and engage in group activities. Assistance is given to residents with dressing, meals and toileting. Ramya, the resident coordinator of the memory care, is very caring and actively envolved with all residents. She is very approachable and addresses any concerns. My father is a sundowner and often more confused in the evenings. One of my favorite things the Village has installed is each resident has a wrist watch that activates only the door to their room. This prevents them from wondering into others rooms which can add to their confusion. Many times we are unable to take care of loved ones at home. I feel the Village at Sugar Land is an excellent facitily in assisting me and my siblings in caring for our Father.

Village of Sugarland I really Love this community since the day I step in the place is super clean the staff is amazing in friendly I never experienced a community like this before they keep the residents clean no smell food is good in upper management is excellent this place is amazing,very Organized I can go on in on Mrs.Jincy is very caring in understanding she always open to listening to any concern you have You can tell she passionate loves the residents. My mom and our entire family are so happy we found this beautiful place. She joined the assisted care community in September of this year. Mom looked at several facilities, she is a very active 92 year old that transitioned from living at her own home and was so impressed with everything they had to offer. We came in and felt so welcomed and there was not a question that was not answered which we had many. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. She has met many wonderful friends and loves being there everyday. We highly recommend!!!
