Its a very bright, clean, warm and joyful community that I love to see very often bringing me the good vibes when I see happy faces and very friendly people around me. The staff and management is very friendly but professional treating every individual in a unique way to accommodates the needs of every person.

I have a friend who lives here and I know someone else that lives there. There only complaint is the food. And from what I have heard of the food it's awful. I mean chicken nuggets for adults. The staff is great they are so helpful to the people who live there. We went Wednesday night with our church group and they did a singing for them.

I am a worker here, and I can thoroughly say this is the most welcoming community I have been to! As soon as I walk through the door, I always love to see the residents out of their rooms, and enjoy the music that is played in the lobby and the activities held in the living room. Everyone is so kind to me, and have really made me feel like I was welcome!

Our community is full of love, our residents are very welcoming, our community is always blessed with amazing volunteers, vendors, churches, community partners that love and enjoy being part of our lives. Our activity programs are equally important in faith, health and social life. We strive to provide excellent service, unconditional love and most important respect. Every one that comes always mentions how peaceful, bright and cheery our community feels. This is the 2nd senior living company and 4th senior living community that I have worked in. When I moved, I was lucky enough to be able to be transferred to a new company through the suggestion of corporate higher-ups that happened to be old friends. At Wood Glen Court, I feel truly blessed. The staff here is amazing and very: positive, hardworking, caring, and compassionate. The residents are so sweet and loving as well as being thankful and welcoming to treat the staff like family. The energy around the building, even during this crazy COVID time, is one that is very positive and uplifting as well as bright and full of love and joy. Especially with all the craziness surrounding COVID, it is wonderful to be able to keep everyone happy and in a good, positive headspace. Although I loved and enjoyed the other communities Ive been fortunate enough to work in, Wood Glen Court is on a completely different level and makes me feel happy, loved and truly blessed. Its definitely the kind of place that makes employees, residents, and family members alike feel welcomed and wanting to return.

Wood Glen Court is an amazing place for mom to live! All of the staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. There are so many activities to keep the residents busy, and the Executive Director, Kim, regularly keeps families informed of the most up to date health and safety protocols. I wish I could give WGC 10 stars!

Wood Glen Court has been such a wonderful place for my Mom. She moved in right before the pandemic put the world on lock down. They have fiercely protected their residents and kept them safe, happy and entertained. And well-fed!Delores, Maria, Kim and the whole team have gone above and beyond to make these days fun and keep to us informed with what is going on.Its such a lovely place too.

Three years ago my mom had to have a safe place to live near me and not so far away in Corpus Christi. A Place for Mom and God Almighty lead us to Wood Glen Court! Daily they are a blessing. Mom is safe and loved. I am full of peace. During these unsettling times, WGC is even more critical than before. There have been management changes with no harmful impact on mom. Daily prayers are for the property, staff and residents. Flexibility has allowed hair do’s, activities, praise and worship and individual attention. My mom’s prayer request in August, 2017 was for contentment and that remains her request to this day.WOOD GLEN COURT IS THE ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS. I can never thank you enough. I have been playing live music and entertaining the residents at Wood Glen Court for the past year. I have had nothing but positive experiences while I was there. The staff is helpful and courteous. The residents are fun and very interactive. They love to pick songs and dance. The facility is nice, clean and welcoming. Definitely a 5 star facility. Thank you Wood Glen Court!

I have been a vendor(Devoted Health Plans) for Wood Glen Court for almost a year. I now conduct Virtual Bingos and Educational events for Wood Glen Court. Before the Corona Virus shut down each time I visited Wood Glen Court the staff has been extremely friendly, courteous, and professional. The residents seem to always be in great spirits and speak highly of living at Wood Glen Court. I am very grateful for being invited to work with the staff and residents at Wood Glen Court.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Wood Glen Court for about 14 months now. Prior to the lockdown due to the Covid-19 virus, I was a regular visitor to the facility at many different occasions and various times of the day, night. Every staff member I encountered was always friendly and had a smile and was so kind to my mother-in-law and knew her by name. When we attended events, there was always such warmth and camaraderie and you could see the staff genuinely cared about their residents. The activity director goes above and beyond to plan fun events and tries to include everyone to participate at whatever level they are able. She knows how to put a smile on their faces and is so encouraging to everyone whether resident or family members.The special care they have taken during the lockdown is remarkable. They are there for her when we cannot be and have gone to great lengths to make sure that no one gets exposed or sick. They are truly heroes in our eyes.

I have been a vendor (Paparazzi $5.00 jewelry) for almost a year. My experience with the staff and residents at Wood Glen Court has been a wonderful experience. The staff are all delightful and very welcoming and I love my resident customers. Every time I am there I have such wonderful conversations with the staff and residents. I enjoy learning about the residents and hearing stories of their families. There is one resident that has played the piano beautifully for me a number of times. The facility is clean and bright and welcoming. They always have activists for the residents to keep them engaged. They all seem happy to be there and if my parents needed a community such as Wood Glen I would certainly find out if they had any openings for them. Out of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest rank I would rank it a 10!!

My mother moved into WGC almost four years ago and she couldnt be happier. My siblings and I agonized over the thought of her being in one of those places, but our concerns were totally unfounded. It was the best decision we could have made. From the administrative staff to the medical technicians, and everyone in between, they treat my mom like family, which is priceless. If youre considering such a move, I would highly recommend taking a look.

Wood Glen Court is a wonderful place for seniors. My 94 year old mom has lived there for the past year and has been well taken care of. The staff is friendly and kind. During the Pandemic, since I cant be there for her, they have gone out of their way to fill the gap and help her whenever needed. Every staff member is kind and patient. When I call, they are always helpful and friendly. The nurse, Martina Kynard, is exceptional. My mom has had many health issues while there and she has taken great care of her and met all of her needs. Delores Gay, Director of Life Enrichment, has done a great job of coming up with safe activities to involve the families and keep up the spirits of the residents. Kim Pera , Executive Director, keeps you well informed on what is going on in the facility and is very accessible. I am so grateful to have a place like this for my mom to live in.

My 93 year old father was suffering from heart failure and moved into WGC to receive needed help. The staff at WGC(especially the daytime staff), tried to accommodate his every need. It was their staff that helped our family through the most emotional trials we have ever experienced. They helped us in more ways than we could ever expect. They handled difficult times with tender care, dignity and comfort. I will be forever thankful for them. Daughter of LESTER STEPHENS.

I live here with my wife and we love it. The staff are always cooperative, willing to help, and provide any assistance needed. Meals have been good. Great location with access to everything we need (restaurants, medical care, golf courses, etc.).

Wood Glen Court has been a life saver for me, my mom, my family and friends. Over a year ago I knew my mom needed to be closer to me in living arrangements. So the search began. The first place that I wanted to be her new home was so disappointing that I almost gave up. Then I kept an appointment made for me by A Place For Mom and it was Wood Glen Court. Immediately I was comfortable. I checked it out and checked reviews. There were 4 other appointments that I kept. After all was looked at, Wood Glen Court was the top!!!! Mom moved in with Harvey and she is home. Some how the management and staff pay attention to all the residents, know their names, and how to best relate to them. I do not worry about Mom being alone and in need of help. The team have a variety of reasons or excuses to go to the residents and see that they are safe and healthy.I have traveled out of the country and known Mom was cared for. Recently She had a health emergency and they were outstanding. Her med techs watch over her. I am stopping because I could go on and on; but I do not want this review to be ignored because it is too long.I will gladly share more another time. And I would chose to live at Wood Glen Court if the need arises. The new management is wonderful. The old was good also. Sincerely, Judy Veale

BEST ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY, STAFF AROUND!! My family and I have toured dozens of places for my 95 year old grandpa, and we weren’t going to settle for anything less than amazing. The moment we walked in the first time, the overall vibe and mood overtook us with happiness! We asked many residents who we came across how they liked it, and 100% of them had nothing but good things to say about their experience! We moved my grandpa in roughly two weeks ago, we’ve visited probably ten times now and we are absolutely in love with our selection! The staff is so genuine and cares deeply for their residents. World class service! Thank you Woodglen!

Highly recommend. My mom has been living at Wood Glen Court for over two years. This was the first time my mom has ever lived alone since she was 18 years old, now a recent widow with dementia. Wood Glen Court has been a blessing to our family.

My parents and I toured this gorgeous property filled with light and joy. The apartment is over the top luxurious, beautiful finishes, very large with so much storage. They are delighted with the scheduled activities at the property, as well as being taken to some of their favorite restaurants; Perrys Olive Garden, red lobster for lunch. My parents and I are delighted to say we have found their new home! A very fine home they can be proud of!

Family member loves her room, parking accommodation, and staff. The Executive Director frequently demonstrates an interest as well as other administrative staff. The facility is immaculate and activities are available to suit most every taste.

My mom has lived at Wood Glen Court for the past year and absolutely loves it! So do we. From the administrative staff, the care aides to the workers in the dining room, they are all top notch. Honestly, its the employees of any facility that make the difference. If you are considering a move to assisted living, I would highly recommend seeing Wood Glen Court in person. You wont regret it.
