My husband has been treated like family during the past year at Autumn Leaves. Family members are encouraged to participate in activities, discussion groups, and the monthly special events. I must admit that I had a long struggle with relinquishing his 24- hour care to someone other than myself, but now feel reassured that Autumn Leaves is the place he needs to be at this time of our lives. Of course this is a tough decision for loved ones to make, but one that may eventually become necessary for everyone's health. The administration and staff are most friendly and caring for our loved ones. It's good to be able to sleep at night knowing my husband is in a safe place.
April 2023
Terrible and unsafe place to place your loved ones. Inadequate staffing, diets are not balanced, and patients spend more than 80% of their awake hours herded in a room where the TV is on, even if they are cognitively impaired and not engaged. No individualized care plans to address cognitive impairment.

Beautiful facility........inside and out. The staff is wonderful and I know that my husband is getting the best care possible. He's been living there almost 2 years now and I have nothing but praise for this facility and it's staff.

This facility is loving, caring and takes wonderful care of my Mother in law. The management and the director Delena, truly has a heart for memory care. They love their staff and show it! They also communicate exceptionally well with the families. I trulu appreciate all of the events and waya they make us feel welcome at our Mom's other home. Betty has had dementia for 20 years and I have never seen her happier. Moving her here in 2022 was one of the best decisions our family made.

My husband and I volunteer weekly at Autumn Leaves which includes bringing in our two small therapy dogs to visit the residents in small group settings. We have been very impressed by the home-like atmosphere where the residents are well groomed, content and have opportunities for community outings and on-site activities to enrich their mental and emotional health. In addition, the staff is patient and kind and there appears to be a high staff to resident ratio which is very important for safety and security in these settings. Many years ago I worked in mental health services and have a good reference point for my observations and now as a local Real Estate Agent often working with families that are transitioning their loved ones to assisted care I can confidently recommend Autumn Leaves.

My experience with Autumn Leaves has been nothing but the best. My Husband James Moore has been there 7 months and it has been a God Sin for both me and my husband. The day me and my family put him in AUTUMN LEAVES after I had been caring for him 7 years at home with dementia growing into Alzheimer's both our lives have turned around. Facility has made a big change in my husband's life and the same with myself. The entire facility is clean and the Caretakers are very kind to all people and their loved ones. Delena and her group have convinced me I did the right thing AND THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO HELPFUL. AUTUMN LEAVES IS CLEAN AND CARING AND VERY ATTENTIVE TO ALL PATIENTS AND I LOOKED AT MANY HOMES WITH NO COMPARISON. THANKS AGAIN TO AUTUMN LEAVES AND ALL INVOLVED IN OUR LIFE.

I recently took a tour of this community and it was a very nice place. It was very clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly. The residents were all seemingly very happy and there was a lot of activities and resources for the residents. I would absolutely recommend this place!

I was concerned with how my mother would react to transitioning from an assisted living to a memory care facility. She is so much happier now at Autumn Leaves! Her prior assisted living facility was very nice. However, it was basically an apartment with meals provided. At Autumn Leaves, the staff are very devoted to her care. I recall reading that they dont just provide activities to keep residents occupied - busy. They tailor activities to give their residents a sense of purpose. That is very evident every time I visit. And also evident from the photos my siblings share from their visits. My mother recently had to spend a short time in a rehabilitation hospital. While she was there, one of the managers from Autumn Leaves visited twice; once to bring flowers and once to paint my moms fingernails. Another Autumn Leaves employee from housekeeping also visited my Mom. All of these visits occurred after hours (on the caregivers own time) and entailed fighting Houston traffic and some bad weather. I am very grateful for the level of care and compassion Autumn Leaves provides for my mom. They employ phenomenal caregivers.

My beloved mother was a resident of Autumn Leaves Cypresswood for approximately a year. She died June 26, 2012 at the age of 98. I felt compelled to tell you about your nurses and other assisted living caregivers. They may not have wings, but they are angels just the same. I could not have wished for better, more loving and compassionate care than we both received. Your staff was both professional and sensitive to emotional as well as physical needs. All the staff sincerely cares for the residents and it is quite evident. In short, they were truly a Godsend during a most difficult year. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

How do I possibly say thank you to someone who came into my life at a most difficult time but showed so much kindness, consideration and compassion. Every phone call, every hug, every teardrop shed brought comfort to me each time our paths crossed. I want you to know that I am thanking God for bringing you into my life and blessing me. You reflect Gods image each and every day through your loving heart that cares, listens and gives so much. With a most grateful heart I thank you!
