My sister has been at Pecan Point for a few weeks now. Her transition has been smooth due to the quiet, calm environment. The engaging life styles team are dynamic. The dietary program is very good, my sister raves about your eggs and very crispy bacon! The building maintenance, housekeeping and laundry team are outstanding! The overall leadership team including Susie Jones and Christi the nurse manager is open, available and awesome! Thank you all for giving my sister a warm, inviting place to live. Phil Elmore

Both of my parents are residents at Pecan Point. I am so impressed with the facility, the staff and the management. I have been very careful doing my research for Assisted Living/Memory Care facilities. I trust the management and staff that take care of my parents. The facility size is perfect. I had the pleasure of staying with a patient over night and I must say wow!!!! The staff was amazing and the facility is super clean and smells wonderful!!! Our elders are lucky to have such an amazing team here at pecan point Sherman!!

The staff at Pecan Point recently celebrated Father's Day by hosting a special event for families. They treated us to a tasty hamburger lunch that included french fries, watermelon, and apple crunch for dessert. For entertainment a talented vocalist sang a collection of pop hits from the 1950s and 1960s. Everyone seemed to really enjoy the celebration and a few of the residents even got out of their chairs to dance to their favorite rhythms! Overall I would say that the event was a smashing success. Thank you Pecan Point staff for making this a special day for all of us!

sadly some of the staff is rude inconsiderate and have no compassion for the residents others are very committed and devoted sharing a Godly concern be very cautious when trusting this facility to your loved ones some care is not provided in a professional manner by select supervising and floor staff

I have worked at Pecan Point for 9 years and I consider this place my family. From the residents to the families and my co-workers. I am very blessed to be able to care for the residents here and I am grateful every day to be able to share their lives. I dont see me working any where else.

A family member recently moved to Pecan Point in the middle of this quarantine. As you can imagine, it was a very stressful time to be moving anywhere, and not being able to visit her made it all the more stressful....but the Director, Michelle Leigh, and staff at Pecan Point made sure she was made to feel welcome and cared for the very day she moved in. Change is not always easy, but sometimes change can be better. This is the case with Pecan Point. It has been a very good change. There are several planned activities for the residents plus the daily menu has a wide variety of foods that are well prepared. God Bless all the caregivers and staff. They are the silent heroes who step in when we cannot.

My mother-in-law is a resident at Pecan Point Assisted Living in Sherman. The facility, staff and food are great. My mother-in-law loves the staff, fellow residents and all the activity opportunities. We know she is safe and well cared for there. We chose this facility after looking at 4 facilities.

While looking at numerous places for my loved one, this one was very interesting. The facility itself is beautiful and little pricey. The lady that was assisting us was very helpful and very frank. While speaking with her about the certain needs that my loved one needed she assessed the level that my loved one was in. She would say something like other places would tell you that she is a level 1 but Im telling you that she is a level 3. Just seemed very straight forward.

We are really pleased with how our loved one is settling in at Pecan Point. It is a clean and well-kept community. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It is very homey. They are very welcoming to our family members when we come to visit. The staff is friendly and attentive to my mom's care needs. The staff is easy to communicate any questions or concerns regarding my mom's needs. They make sure the residents get out of their rooms and not just sit in them all day. They encourage them to participate in the activities that are provided. She doesn't think the food is good, but I have had desserts there with her, and I've seen the food and it looks good to me. There is a nice courtyard that is secure where she can get out and enjoy the fresh air. My husband and I are very pleased with the care they are providing our loved one.

I had toured with this community and I was looking for a 2 bedroom and a good assisted living. They did not have an availability at the time but they were friendly and accommodating. I pretty much had a good tour. I appreciate A Place For Mom help, I didn't know where to start.
