The Landing at Stone Oak – Reviews
July 2023
My brother was there for two months until I could move him. There are not enough workers to care for the residents. My brother was not bathed for 9 days. He smelled very badly. He is a quadriplegic and cannot care for himself. His room was unsanitary and they would leave soiled diapers on his floor. I do not recommend this place if you care for your loved one.

Very unsanitary place, especially on weekends. Not enough staff to care for residents. My brother did not get showered for 10 days and he smelled awful. Dirty diapers were left all day on his floor. Paid over $16,000 in two months. I never did receive copy of contract or other paperwork that I had originally signed. He stayed March and April and we moved him out before May 1st. Now we are receiving threats that if we don't pay another $2400 we will be turned over to a collection agency. Think twice before you place a loved one in this situation.

$15,00 in just 2 months! REDICULOUS! Electric wheelchair bound. Can eat indepently, as well as shaving, and basic grooming. Paid $3,300 prer month and experience waw SUPERIOR to this facility. This place reminds me of when I did internship at the state hospital.....

A first class facility with an excellent program and dedicated, caring staff. We opted for a facility closer to where we live to facilitate visits but, had we lived closer, we definitely would have chosen this one.

Beautiful community that go above and beyond for the residents.

My elderly parents have recently moved here and the staff are very caring and do a good job with the residents. They make a lot of suggestions of how my parents can be helped and the suggestions are implemented. There are good programs for the residents and my parents especially enjoy mealtime. We appreciate the hard work and professionalism of the staff at The Landing and thank them for everything they do to help the residents.

My Aunt was placed in the Landing a few months ago. She has suffered for quite a few years from Alzheimer disease. I live in West Virginia so my only way to check on her condition was through the nursing staff which I did often. My mind and concerns were put at ease with each conversation I had with them. I found them personable, friendly, caring, and VERY helpful. I always hung up with all my questions answered thoroughly and then some! A huge plus was the knowledge they shared In those conversations about this horrible disease with such tenderness concerning my Aunt. All blame of any negative behavior she possessed only placed on the illness, with new thoughts of how to relieve concerns and stresses my Aunt might be having at that moment. When she got upset she knew where to go to get help (the nurses station) Shout out to these wonderful professionals. God Bless each one!♥ having them has made this trying time easier on my Aunt and her family!

Farrah Ramirez is one of the best directors I have worked with in my 5 years. She was the only one who was willing to give me a chance with my first job at esplanade gardens at the age of 18, and fresh out of high school. Since then she has been on my referrals for work for the past 5 years. Now that Im with generous I was blessed enough to have run into her again. Farrah does big things and gets things done. 10-10 one of the best people I could ever work for.

Beautiful Community with Nursing 24-7. The Executive Director is also a Nurse and has held the position for over 3 years now. She is passionate about memory care and manages an amazing team of staff that care greatly for their residents.

I cannot image a better home for my dad who has dementia. The facility is beautifully decorated (the photography display throughout the building is wonderful) and is always very clean (It never smells like a nursing home) and bright. Most importantly, the staff at The Landing is SUPERIOR. Everyone who cares for Dad is kind, patient, and always willing to help him or us. My dad can be a challenge, but The Landing staff interacts with him respectfully despite his moods. I think a key element to The Landings excellent quality of care is the Management Teams close involvement in the day-to-day operations. The Resident Services Director, Business Office Manager and Executive Director are each highly attentive and involved with the residents and their families. And, last but not least, the nurses are patient and compassionate and appear to really care about my dad. I am very, very grateful for The Landing at Stone Oak.
