I was admitted into Coronado July 29, 2026. I picked this facility off of the reviews I seen, so now I will share my experience as I am still here hoping to go home soon. Housekeeping gets a 10+ these ladies do an awesome job at keeping the facility clean, their personalities when speaking and very respectful. Physical therapy gets a 10+ as well they give genuine care when working with me, they don’t push me to do no more then I can do. Always showing me the best way to do things to strengthen me. The day nurses are ok but their is one who stands out Francesca hopefully I got it right, she has a very good personality and Spirit.So I give them a 9/10 CNA they are ok I am not going to pick on them because I am a CNA as well and I know the struggle is real and they do the best they can. My only concern is not answering the call lights in a timely manner and coming to check on pts more. They are in and out but I also realize they sometime have a heavy load out of all I give them a 9/10. Now the kitchen and the food they all go and bad food I just wish the food was hot when we get it, everyone can not get out of bed or stand up to reach the microwave but over all they get a 5/10 only because I never got my food on time and they had to be reminded I needed my plate, when receiving it. It was cold. Now my over all opinion being here is a great experience I just wish at night they would close the doors so I don’t have to hear the TV from another room. nor do I want to hear someone yelling at times or the nurse or CNA talking or closing drawers. Every one I met at Admission or the next day was Awesome, very polite and respectful. So over all I would recommend Coronado to family and friends and I give Coronado @ Stone Oak a 10, keep up the good work.. To All

I can't thank the staff enough for the love, care, and patience they showed my Mother while she recovered from debilitating tendinitis. There's so many all the way from the front desk greeter Corin, April (our nurse in the 700 hall), Alice (CNA), Sanje (weekend nurse), etc, etc...The 700 hallway personnel and Physical therapists were all outstanding. Huge shout out to the weekend CNA's as well. Those people clearly love what they do. Thank God for them all.

Our experience at Coronado has been nothing but positive. Each and every staff member has been kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient. When your dearest loved one is in need of skilled nursing care it can be very stressful, but the genuine care our mother received was second to none. Thank you Coronado for making our stay as pleasant as it could be.

This is a beautiful facility, with pros and cons. The pros are excelllemt physical therapy, friendly staff, facilities are kept clean and food is pretty good for an institution. The cons are the facility is understaffed and has a high aide turnover due to either low pay or high stress working conditions. Our experience with my mother being here was frustrating at times. When calling for someone to assist her to the bathroom, she would have to wait 30 or more minutes for someone to respond. This resulted in her going on her own without assistance. As a result she has fallen twice. I believe that if your loved one is here, they will get good care, but a family member MUST be here consistently to ensure safety.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OUR FRIENDS AT CORONADO My wife had an utterly exceptional experience at Coronado skilled nursing facility after a difficult illness and hospitalization. From the very beginning, from every employee there, we were treated with love, like a family member, and received excellent loving quality care. Even the food was pretty good. I spent my 41-year career managing a corporate team of engineers and technicians, traveling all around the country and sometimes Europe. I have learned how to quickly recognize the way an organization is run in order to better serve our customers and attempt to gain insight into working with the customer's people more effectively. This place is an example I would have certainly held up to my team members as an outstanding example. Every employee at Coronado was very competent, Hard Working, and HAPPY! From the delightful front-desk receptionists (security, information exchange, schedule coordination, spirit lifter); to the proficient and experienced nursing staff, the physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy specialists; to the hospitality and housekeeping staff; and finally the management who everyone clearly cares for and respects. Many thanks for my wife's recovery. We will always remember you all. You, and many others, have left an impression on our hearts. Please share this review with the people that brought it about. My husband’s wedding ring was stolen off his finger. we have been married 50 years. After numerous attempts to talk with their manager, they would not answer the phone nor return my calls. I called the police and made a report.

Very clean ,It's a beautiful place, beautiful staff. Only thing I suggest is plug ins. The foul smell is to much. Staff and patients are so accustomed to it. Should hire a monthly service for this.

Coronado Rehab is a beautiful community with staff that truly care. The Administrator is a very caring person and goes above and beyond to take care of her residents and staff. Linda Martinez is so helpful and welcoming to the new patients at Coronado. I’d like to add Coronado has reached 5 stars with their amazing team of clinicians and mgmt, Annemarie, Cheri, Becky, Arnulfo, Christina, Angie , the welcoming team Nathan, Sasha, Teresa and Linda do a great job getting everyone transitioned.

Beautiful facility, horrible food for patients, inedible. Made you feel like money was their only concern, poor physical therapy. Not enough staff to cover patients, waited up to an hour for call to be answered. Looks are definitely not everything!!

I highly recommend Coronado at Stone Oak. My husband received excellent care during his in-patient rehabilitation stay. The Physical Therapy team assessed his needs and provided a thorough evaluation, care, and therapy program which produced an amazing recovery in less time than first anticipated. The nurses, and patient aids, always provided prompt care and response. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the facility and also appreciated the open communication with admin staff. My husband also received medical care which called for labs and medication administration which I was very pleased with.

I was honestly disappointed in the care my mother received as well as the staff seemingly not address the issues of other patients. She was transferred to another rehab facility after a couple of weeks.

Well, my primary care snuck me in for Stress test come to find out. I had to have cabbage triple bypass if you’ve ever heard of that, they pull veins and arteries out of your body somewhere else and repair your heart and blah blah. Blah said all that to say this, Coronado was a 4 1/2 star hotel! Amazing rehab workout room and the staff is off the chain people disappear and never come back and keep everything clean and always the same day-to-day if I had a place like that, although this was my first experience. I have been around people that I’ve been in them and I have never never seen anything like this , come across unfortunate event you would be very pleased all right B kool!

Friendly, accommodations were comfortable, CNA Zainab was exceptional. OT and PT therapist Ruthie,Randy, Nhan, Falguni, and Rebecca are very professional and knowledgeable and a pleasure to have worked with. I have a lot of respect for nurses, Sabrina, and Caitlan for the compassion and care they give to the patients One of my complaints is with Becky and her approach one with her .misinformation in days allowed out and second how do you asked a "PARALYZED" person if it's difficult to function with one hand !

My mother stayed at this facility a few weeks ago. Staff was very polite and efficient starting with admissions,nursing and the social worker. Facility was very clean and staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a rehabilitation center.
