I can’t say enough good comments to explain the wonderful care my mother received here. The staff here is patient and they truly care about their residents. The nurses, managers, and all the staff are really wonderful at what they do. They treated my mom like family and were truly amazing.

I want to publicly commend University Village Memory Care for the excellent care for nearly 9 years for my brother Dale Cohrs. From all the parts of my brothers care over those years he had beyond above average care from all the loving folks that have worked there over the years. I dont know how they find their employees but whatever method they use is has to be very thorough to have such great staff. I have visited many care facilities over the years and never have I seen such loving and caring folks all in one place. With many folks with mental and physical afflictions of all sorts they handle it well.Theatmosphere in the place in my opinion is uplifting to a patient in their conditions. I always felt at home with all that worked there! They love to see family involved with the persons they care for. Of course with humans there can be a problem crop up but if that ever happens they are quick to act, they listen to family concerns, and the patient is at their upmost importance. I doubt that there is another facility like this on in the area.Im saying you will have to look long and hard to find any better facility to care for you loved one!!! My brother was buried today from complications of Alzheimers which had suffer may years with along with a stroke that disabled him at the early stages of Alzheimer.I thank everyone at this facility for the excellent care and love you bestowed on my brother and my family members.Larry Cohrs

University Village Memory Care is without a doubt, the best possible solution for the needs our of family members. My father in law was in need of a place that was good with memory loss and UVMC exceeded our expectations.What makes UVMC special is how they care not only for the patient, but also the needs of the family. My father in law just past away and UVMC ensured he was cared for, but also made sure we were comfortable and have everything we needed in his last few days.Watching the staff at UVMC and how they truly care, ( praying with and crying for the my father in law) and seeing the relationships they develop with the residents is very touching. I only wish I could express how I feel with a rating higher than 5 starts.

We looked at every facility in the area and so happy we chose University Village. Mom is in a great social environment with a consistent staff who love the residents. By being on a regular eating and sleeping schedule, with plenty of interaction with other guests and staff, moms sense of humor and personality emerged. Even during the pandemic, mom is happy and well-loved. We talk or Facetime daily either through the facility phone or the care workers mobile phones. I get pictures all the time of mom and her friends laughing and engaged. When we chose UVMC, I expected great care. What I didnt expect was to gain an extended family of residents and staff who love and appreciate my mom like I do. Priceless. Im forever grateful. If youre thinking about moving your mom or dad to UVMC, Im happy to talk. Its a hard, hard decision. UVMC held our hand all the way through.

Everything about it,...The set up of neighborhoods, consistent staff, not a lot of clients.friendly caregivers ,who really love who they are taken care of. We walked away every time we visited knowing it was a wonderful place for mom{Billie Best} to be. We were so blessed to have this place

The facility is small, so the ratio of staff to residents is really good. In addition, there is an onsite Hospice and Home Health facility that was able to complete my Moms care until she passed away. Terra focuses on her staff and does everything she can to keep them happy working there. Many have been there for years. Also, you get to know the caregivers well. She has two resident care managers, that are always available, and extremely responsive to any questions or updates. They are happy to communicate by text, email or phone. The facility has alot of natural light and open areas. The kitchen is like one in a lovely home. They even have a labradoodle named Sophie that lives there and visits every so often. I highly recommend University Village Memory Care and Assisted Living for your loved one.

Dear Terria & Staff,Im sorry this review has taken me so long to express in writing our families appreciation to everyone who works at University Village.From the very first day; When I had to reluctantly locate a Memory care living facility for a family member; I visited University Village and five other facilities. I received a tour, education and the time to answer all my questions from all.On my last visit back to University Village for the 5th time; I knew this is where my love one, could live comfortably and laugh frequently. He did laugh frequently and the staff always made sure not just my father but all residents were comfortable to University Staff, CNAs, Maintenance, Kitchen Staff and Nursing staff our loved one passed comfortably with love from all. My dad recently passed away in UV, the staff misses him as much as we do. He was much loved and cared for during his stay. My mom is on the memory care side and she is happy and safe. It has given us several years now of peace knowing she is cared for. We were relieved to have found a safe, caring, clean facility for our parents to live. Thank you all!!
