I just wanted to take some time out and write a view about our Maintenance team here at the Marquis these gentlemen never cease to amaze me about how efficient on time how they clean up before and after everything is done perfectly, they're polite and they always go out of their way to make me happy. I thank you from the bottom of my heart the surface department at the grand marquis that's right I called it the grand marquee.

I was hesitant to move to Marquis. I am quite a bit younger than most people who live here. I still work a full time job. My husband is older, and has health challenges. The community has accepted us warmly. The activities have provided social interaction for my husband. He loves to play CLR on Mondays! We live in one of the cottages. It is very nice. Thus far, maintenance has provided fast and friendly service when called. The office staff is friendly and available. If you are 55+, I can recommend Marquis Rockwall as the place to downsize and enjoy the next chapter of your life.

I had several visits to the Marquis. It is truly a lovely community, and Tammy Cooke is very sweet and kind. She listened to me and helped me out. I plan to move there at some point.

In my search to find my mother a new residence after moving her from another state, I came across Marquis Rockwall. I toured the facility before taking my mother and from the moment I wanted into the doors, I was very pleased to see such wonderful residents with smiles on their face as they said Hi to me. Next I had the pleasure of meeting Tammy. She is such a wonderful person to work with and took me on a tour of their facility. When my mother toured the facility, she loved it. She really liked that there is a Women’s Bible Study and a church service on Sunday nights. My mother told me the other night that she is happy that we found this location and that she is only 10 minutes away from where I live. I do want to put a plug in to the wonderful maintenance men as they are so kind and helpful. I do want to add that I had visited another Senior Living place just before my scheduled visit with Tammy. As I was talking to the person at the other facility, I told them that their cost was not in my mother’s budget and that I was looking for a place within her budget and where she would be active. He recommended Marquis Rockwall and did not know I was scheduled to visit Marquis Rockwall. God knew where my mother needed to be!!! If you or a loved one is looking for an Active Senior Living facility, I highly recommend that they come and visit Marquis Rockwall.

I toured Marquis Rockwall with my mother, and we absolutely loved it! They have a dining room and a kitchen, which we didn’t see anywhere else we looked. Joshua, Tammy, and Heller all introduced themselves to my mother and I, which made us both feel very welcome. The apartment and community were beautiful! My mom is so excited to be moving here.

My parents recently moved here and they absolutely love it!!!! Everyone from the front office has been extremely helpful and welcoming to me and my parents. My mom loves the social aspect of the apartment environment and she’s made so many new friends. Move in was simple and hassle free. I could not be happier for them and my parents keep telling me why didn’t we move here sooner!!! I cannot say thank you enough to the Marquis. We love it and we made the right choice to move to the Marquis.

Update: My wife and I live here at Marquis Rockwall. It's been 8 months since we moved in and having managed an Independent Living Community in the past, I'm amazed at how well this place is managed. Great food, dedicated staff, maintenance is prompt, not counting how friendly people are here. Better than a great place to live if you're 55+.

I've lived here since the complex opened. In that time there have been several support teams & several maintenance teams. However, nothing like the quality of the ones we have now. The includes the office staff, assistant director & director and the spectacular maintenance team they've put together. More often than not, they get to your maintenance request the same day. It's truly a great place to live.

After just two months at Marquis Rockwall, I can say this: The residential buildings are attractive and well laid out. The grounds and shrubs are spotless and well trimmed. The community is well located, within relatively easy reach of offices, stores, etc.. I've found the entire staff to be pleasant, and willing to answer questions, and to provide guidance. Some of the amenities I don't need, but I do enjoy the wonderful pool. Residents have made a point to welcome me, and to help me to blend in. Many Marquis-sponsored social events are offered. The atmosphere is very quiet. I have no regrets for having decided to relocate here.

I have lived in other apt. Complexes and was President of the Board of Directors in a co-op, I realize how difficult it is to find competent managers. However, at the Marquis you have hit the jackpot! Josh and Heller are outstanding in regards to your occupants and their needs. I pray you will retain them for many years.

I had air conditioning problem our maintenance man Jessie genuinely worried over me since I’m 74 and just had surgery! He came to my Apt at 7am the next morning, worked 4 hours and fixed it perfect! Jessie cares about the residents is very polite and hard worker! I’ve lived here 7 years Marquis takes good care of the residents! Thank you Jessie, your a really good man! Thanks to the whole crew!

The Marques Rockwall is a beautiful 55 and above community and provides many amenities and activities for all residents and their guests. I find the management and staff to be professional, kind and willing to assist with anything I might need in a timely manner. The residents are very welcoming and a lot of fun. They have an unspoken rule in the dinning room, that no one should ever eat alone unless they want to. The Marque is located close to shopping, dining and health care which has simplified my life. I have lived at the Marques for nearly two months and the transition from my single family home to this community has been effortless. Life here has been enriching and stress free. I really love living here.

It’s been a great experience moving my folks into the Marquis. I can’t say enough about our leasing agent, Terry Parrish. Any question or challenge I was facing she had a solution. She introduced our family to the chef and dining staff. Terry has helped me feel confident in this decision. The dining room was warm and friendly with a large selection of items.
