Brookdale and all of its staff have been a wonderful blessing to a very good friend of mine. She was particularly isolated during the Covid times, and this move was a very good one for her. She has the opportunity to interact as much as she wishes with the various clients and staff. Everyone there has been wonderful to her. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a home-like environment. Judy O.

Very attentive staff. They also have done a fantastic job during the covid lock downs to keep the residents engaged. They even made an ice cream truck to deliver them ice cream treats. Taken them on sightseeing trips in their van to get them some time out of the building. The staff has kept the residents safe from this virus while also keeping the families updated with weekly emails and FaceTime visits with our loved ones. So thankful for the care they are providing my mom.

My mom and dad moved into Brookdale New Braunfels in January 2019 - mom has Alzheimers and dad was just beginning to become forgetful. He was a bit difficult and we had some struggles getting acclimated early on, but the aids were patient and loving and did their best to care for him despite his meanness. Now that he has passed, it is just mom and she is getting wonderful care and really loves it there. I feel that the director, the health care team, the activities director, the kitchen team, and all of the aids do a great job of caring for her needs. The food is good (although personally Id like to see some lighter meals and less dessert) and the facility is always kept clean. Our requests for maintenance and assistance is always taken care of promptly. Julia Gruss, the director, has handled the quarantine superbly! She has been very professional - keeping us informed - and being accessible to us as well as doing everything in her power to engage the residents in fun activities while maintaining their health and safety. Really cant say enough great things about Brookdale! It has been a perfect place for Mom.

Brookdale New Braunfels far exceeds my expectations. I cant say enough about how thankful we are for the high standards of care, the intentional effort to provide an engaging environment for the residents, and the truly compassionate care on the part of all the staff. Each and every member of the staff is friendly, proactive, and helpful. Communication is professional, responsive, and helpful. The facilities are well designed and maintained to seem homelike, clean, and welcoming. Activities provide an inclusive and varied array of things for residents of all abilities and interests. My dad is always complimentary of the meals and the kitchen is run in a extremely clean and thoughtful manner. The caregivers are kind and professional towards the residents. Brookdale New Braunfels is exemplary and we feel blessed to have found it.

My uncle liked Brookdale New Braunfels. The rooms were absolutely perfect for assisted living. I saw some activities going on, like puzzles. They had a person in charge of making sure that people come down and eat, and she did a wonderful job talking with my uncle. We had a meal there and it was very good and more than adequate. The dining area was open and spacious. There's a place where you can eat privately if you have some family there. It meets all the needs for someone in assisted living.

We have just become acquainted with this facility in the last two months while researching a new home for our friend. From the first time we entered we were welcomed by all, everyone I have met who works there appears happy and eager to help. I truly have been to all such homes in Schertz and New Braunfels and cant recommend highly enough Brookdale. There is always something going on.

I was impressed with Brookdale in New Braunfels because the location was good, it was clean, and the staff was very informative, polite, and helpful. The residences were very welcoming and had good things to say about the place. The rooms were of ample size. The place was clean and well kept, and the layout was good. The staff was very helpful and gave me the information that I needed. I will recommend this community.
