Oak Tree is a hidden gem here in New Braunfels. Each time I visit I am greeted by a friendly member of the staff at the front desk welcoming me to the building. The residents are always out and about enjoying a wide variety of activities lead by an amazing Activity Director. Everyone is involved and so happy to be a part of this beautiful assisted living community. Anyone would be lucky to call this place home.

Oak Tree is a wonderful, supportive community for my mom! Every member of the staff is helpful and caring. The Activity Director, Alecia, is 100% dedicated to making this assisted living community fun and enjoyable. My mom says they truly are a family. After a recent medical rehab stay at a different facility, she could not wait to get "home". I can't imagine finding a better place for my mom. I highly, highly recommend the Oak Tree!

We searched several assisted living facilities in town and just loved Oak Tree right away. My mother in law has been there for about 9 months now and loves it. The staff and residents are all so friendly and kind. They offer so many activities and outings for the residents, that keep them as busy as they want to be. We are so thankful that we found Oak Tree and highly recommend this place!

We have been residents for over two years so this is our home. The staff is caring & our suite is adequate & well maintained. We have so many activities to enjoy with our "family "! We have a good chef & kitchen staff that try to please many different preferences of food. We invite yall to check us out.

When my aunt decided she shouldn't live alone anymore, Oaktree Assisted Living was her first, and only, choice. She had several relatives who were residents here before their passing. Oaktree was highly recommended by their families. They have a variety of activities, great food, security , assistance when needed, and, not to mention, an excellent staff! She loves it there and we're blessed to know she's found her "home away from home"!

My husband, Phil and I have lived at Oak Tree Assisted Living for two and a half years. Oak Tree has been a blessing, allowing us to live in the privacy of a one-bedroom apartment while having access to a safe environment, prepared meals, activities and the friendship of others. Oak Tree is smaller than some that we looked at but is perfect for us. We feel like the staff and other residents are like our extended family, all helping each other. The staff genuinely cares about our well-being and provides access to any resources we may need.

Beautiful place. Very roomy. Great and friendly staff! Looked at several places and none seemed to compare with this place. A perk is they include shower services. Alicia has a lot of fun games to participate in. Thank you Oak Tree for making my mom feel 'at home!'

Team Care Rehab has been treating residents in the in-house therapy room for over 2 years now, and I have to say the staff at Oak Tree are some of the warmest people you'll ever meet. Angie, Ava, and Ebaniey are always so helpful and kind whenever someone needs assistance. Every time I walk down the hallways I'm greeted with a smile, and having been in many similar homes, I cannot say that is the standard. The fitness class hosted is a joy to attend and always one of the highlights of my week. Proud to be a part of this community.

Such an important move! This age and stage for Mom has been challenging and difficult as a new normal takes shape for all of us; I am grateful for the staff at OTAL. People matter! These folks have a heart for their residents; it feels more like family, than facility. I toured many communities; this was the first one where I felt "at home"...the space is inviting; residents are out and about with plenty to do, and the people who care for the residents are smiling and engaging...that speaks volumes!

My uncle was very happy at Oaktree. During his stay, he participated in the many activities at the facility. Eileen and her staff are wonderful and very caring.

I must start with how nice the Oak Tree Assisted living facility is in New Braunfels. However, after a number of years trying to rectify a very serious nutritional substance problem with the cook, director, nutrition specialist and finally the owner. We were very concerned for my mother as a resident at this facility to no avail, our family decided we had no other choice than to move her to a more caring facility. The food is atrocious and the facility does not have a true chef on staff but rather a fly by nite cook, whom does not care or take pride in what is prepared for the residents. The food is a hit and miss of what will be on their plates. A true guessing game of what you are going to eat. The food is cold, not well prepared, over cooked and hard to chew at times, and no type of thought process seems to go into food preparation for the residents. This assisted living could be a top notch facility if the management and owner would care about how their residents are be fed with the nastiest food they are serving them. The activity director is a caring person whom gets her residents involved in daily activities. The med techs are wonderful and very caring and helpful always. It is a shame that all of our efforts fell on deaf ears about the horrific food that was being served to our loved ones and we had to move along with three (3) other residents in one month. Please ask the tough questions before deciding on this facility, like do you have a chef, how is the activity director and med tech and the overall maintenance management of the assisted living facility.

Wonderful facility with amazingly kind people who work there. They really take the time to take care of the residents here. They put on events all the time for the residents and their families. Im incredibly thankful for these kind people taking care of my grandparents!

Best assisted living we have seen, by far. Not too big, not too old, well priced. Still shopping around but can't find a place as good for even more money. They could use more staff but that seems true of everyone.

I work with Family Heritage Life and I do business with many nursing homes and their staff. I must say, this is the nicest and most sincere staff I have met. Eileen is super nice and professional and if anyone in my family ever needs assisted care this is where I would go or recommend.

This senior living facility is not Corporate owned and is operated like a home versus a business. The management and staff sincerely care about the residents and their well being. It is a smaller facility that offers a more intimate environment. The nursing/medical staff at the facility are spot on in making sure that medications are administered correctly, and timely.
