I had my MIL here over this year. She received excellent care and therapy. She was happy while at the facility. Her room was spacious and she had everything that she needed. We would recommend this facility to others in the community. Thank you Larkspur!!!

My friend went to Larkspur in Lufkin ,Tx recently post surgery. The day nurse for the 800 wing didn’t bring medication after my friend requested it several times . But said the meds had been signed off. And that nurses attitude was negative, dismissive, and down right uncaring. The other staff members were nice . One even apologized for the day nurses rudeness.

I recommend Larkspur! Many of my family members have been a resident at Larkspur and were very pleased. So was I. Come by and tour, give us a try!!!

We went to see my father in law and we were not impressed! First, papa needed his blood sugar checked before he could eat and no one came for over 45 minutes and the man was starving. When I went to find the person to do it, the lady taking a picture of papa in the room got loud and huffy with me but she did go find the nurse. One nurse tried to trade out jobs with photo lady and had to be told no because that wasn't her job and that she was busy. Photo lady finally had to go find the right nurse. When she finally came, she was not happy, she was dripping sweat, and had no gloves on. By time papa got to eat, we discovered that his chicken was blood red raw! Not pink but bright red blood! When I went to show the desk, the two nurses were annoyed and dismissive. The carpet in the room is so sticky you can hardly walk on it and the bathroom was the same and had no soap or toilet paper. Two days in a row. The next day, the food was overcooked to the point papa could barely eat it. It seems very understaffed and patients aren't out and about in the commons but mostly in their rooms, in their beds watching TV. It has a pretty front, but it has its problems. I wouldn't recommend.

My grandmother has been there going on three years and it’s been great! The staff has been exceptional and what few issues have come up have been taken care of promptly. Would highly recommend!

Not going to say our family has occasionally expressed concerns, I would like to acknowledge that the management staff took the initiative to address each of our issues and resolve them to our full satisfaction. I genuinely hope that these positive experiences can continue to persist. I only wish that these positive experiences will continue indefinitely.

My mother had a short stay at Larkspur. The staff was attentive and compassionate. My mother enjoyed visiting with them and participating in activities. Therapy was patient and worked diligently to help her gain her strength. I would recommend anyone to go to Larkspur. Thank you Larkspur staff for making my mother feel at home.

Larkspur was an absolutely wonderful experience for my Mom who was there for rehab/therapy. Everyone was so friendly and personable and did his/her job with cheerfulness and kindness! The food was good and my Mom enjoyed the bingo so much! Just a great experience overall!

This Facility is the best!!! We moved mom here last year and its was the best decision. The staff are all super nice and you can tell they genuinely care for all the residents. If I had 1 negative thing to say it would be the Food menu could be better. Thank you Larkspur for all you do.

As a hospice partner we have been thankful to work with the staff of Larkspur. They are always very helpful and caring. Carla always tries to ensure there are plenty of activities happening to enrich the residents lives. The DON and ADON know all of the residents and what is happening with each of them. That is not always the case at every facility. Gentiva Hospice is happy to be able to work with this facility.

I was in this facility back in 2021 for therapy after having COVID. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. I only had an issue with one CNA and it was promptly dealt with. The therapy staff is awesome and got me from being in a wheel chair to walking unassisted again. The facility is always clean and the food was great. I would recommend them to anyone needing therapy or care for a loved one.
