They live up to their motto of Senior Living in a home like setting! Even before she moved in, the staff shared information that helped us with the move! I’m very grateful for their advice on move-in day! My sister and I are her daughters again and Beehive does the caregiving! She is safe and cared for by many! The activities keep her busy and she is tired in the evenings so she sleeps very well. She likes the food and never complains about it! When I hear her say how happy she is, my heart is warm and we know we made the right move.

My mom has been at the Beehive for over 3 years. I find the care team to be kind and loving. They are dedicated to caring for the residents, always treating them with dignity and respect. Being a small assisted living home, individual needs are able to be met, including individual dietary needs. When entering, the first thing noticed is the family environment. Residents are in the living area enjoying movies, music, entertainment or various activities. The residents are kept engaged and active. And the Beehive is so clean. Always smells good. Mom’s room is always neat and clean. The Beehive is locally owned and operated. Chip, the owner, is always available and is a wonderful source of information. I feel truly blessed being a part of the Beehive family. Highly recommended!!

My mother, Joan, spent the last year or so of her life at the Beehive, thanks to my sister who lives locally and heard about the Beehive through a friend at church. I attended a Christmas celebration there and met the owners and staff, who as others have reported in their reviews, are the most caring people you could meet. I loved the layout of the facility, too, with the kitchen as a central focal point, and the nearby sitting area with a fireplace. It feels like home in many respects.

If you are looking for a genuinely loving and professional place for your loved one, you have to tour this place! You have to learn the story behind the business and the reason they do what they do. That makes all the difference! One of the greatest benefits in my professional opinion, is the size of the community for many reasons. I had the pleasure of spending regular time with them and helping to create and implement an outstanding engagement program. Ashley the activities coordinator does a great job and the amount of engagement is so necessary and life-changing for the residents there. All of the staff are so hands-on and loving. I cant say enough good things about them. The ownership, when it comes to assisted living and memory care is vital because thats where the example is set for all staff for level and quality of care.

My mother moved to BeeHive in July 2019. With 20 rooms they arent too large or institutionalized. Weve become a part of the BeeHive Family and they are an important part of our family. Some of the things we live are· Its built and operated live in a home environment, not an assisted living facility· Nice size studio room with great closet space and a huge bathroom· The residents know each other and even with COVID they have been able to socialize· Activities - There is always something going on and mom isnt isolated· Food - its not institutional and the chef knows what mom likes and does not like· Care - I am never worried about quality of care. Mom isnt the easiest at times but they take wonderful care of her· Ownership: We mainly talk with the House Manager and caregivers. However, if we need to talk with the owner, he is available 24, 7 which is important to me. We know him, he is on-site and aware of what is going on. Plus, he can fix wheel chairs and TV input settings.· Their house call doctor and other partners save me a lot time that I previously spent taking mom to appointments.· Weve had our frustrations with COVID (and what the state allows them to do on visitation) but looking back the last 10 months mom has been healthy, socially engaged and happy. BeeHive initially provided video visitation and now we have options to see mom in person. I cant just drop in like before but mom is safe and that is what counts. My mom is 94 and my daily worries are gone. They manage all of her daily care and keep me informed. Of course, at her age there is always something to worry about but I now have a support system. Im not alone like I was before she moved there. Ive gone from being a stressed-out caregiver back to being a daughter and that may be the most important benefit of all.Highly recommend BeeHive – happy to talk with anyone about my personal experience. The staff are truly invested in the care of the people they care for. They become extended family. The patient to staff ratio is the best I have come across and my sister and I looked into many places, then we found Beehive. The food is fixed for each individual need, fresh on the spot each meal. The facility, the staff, and the care my father receives I could not ask for better. Thank you Beehive!!!

Very reasonable ALL INCLUSIVE priced and you wont be nickel and dimed! I love knowing that a nice portion of the money goes to the employees (they actually get regular bonuses) who care for your parent, and not into just creating an image-facid like many facilities. Good luck in getting in as they usually have a waiting list.

Several weeks ago, we made the decision to move my father-in-law to Beehive Homes of Lewisville. He had previously lived in other assisted living, memory care facilities in Mansfield and Arlington. I have to say that Beehive has provided far superior care for him than we experienced anywhere else. The other facilities were so focused on the corporate bottom line that resident care clearly suffered in many ways. The other places will make promises and may offer what seems like great initial prices then they will nickle and dime you as your loved ones needs change. Beehive keeps pricing, costs very simple, straight-forward and is a good value for the high level of care they provide. We visit multiple times a week and can say that Beehive is consistently focused on the daily needs of their residents (your loved one). Faith, Kim, Starr, Gracie and all of the staff do a wonderful job. We highly recommend Beehive Homes of Lewisville.

Beehive is an amazing assisted living community! My dad received the most outstanding individual care here, and I am forever grateful to them! He suffered with Dementia, that had worsened significantly over the last couple of years. The owner Chip and his lovely wife Lisa and all the staff members went out of their way on a daily basis to keep my Dad comfortable, clean, socially interactive as much as possible, and at peace. The folks who provided direct care to Dad were highly skilled and professional, but they also extended kindness, gentleness and respect in all they did. They all treated him as if they were helping their own loved one. Today was my first day at Beehive and I was VERY impressed with the staff, the cleanliness and the attention given to the residents. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and designed really well. My dad is a new resident here and this place has been a real blessing to not only him, but his family! We leave him, knowing that he is loved and cared for! ALL of the staff members are very friendly and anxious to be the best caregivers. Trust me when I say my dad has a lot of needs, but this doesnt slow down or change the care that I feel my dad is getting. I know he wont last forever, but I do feel confident that this will be his last move. This place like a church - isnt the building, but the people inside - sharing their love and compassion.

My Mother suffers from Alzheimers and some other medical issues. It was time to find a place that she could live with the care she needed. I can tell you from my experience that this is a difficult position to be in. I spoke with several people I personally know in the Flower Mound, Lewisville area and The Beehive assisted living home kept coming up. I finally went by and took a tour and was sold. The ratio of care takers to residents is great. It feels more like a residence then a corporate run facility. The open dining area and large living room are so open and welcoming. The glassed in kitchen allows the residents to watch the amazing cooking that goes on. There is also always options for meals. My Mom likes to sleep in and they allow her to. No one is made to do what they do not want to. The staff is amazing and are so loving. You can feel rest assured that your loved one will be well cared for here.
