Facility is older but very well kept Rooms are a little small for two people - might consider setting up a private room if possible. Great location near a nice park to visit with your loved one. Food is quite good - maybe a little too high in carbs. The staff are all exceptionally caring and communitive - from the receptionist to the nursing staff to the maintenance guy. Management is always very cooperative - even helpful. As I did not deal with the facility doctor much, cannot comment on that aspect. However the nursing staff was great. Heritage Park of Katy - thanks so much for the care of my late Brother.

I cannot express enough, the night and day difference, the amazing staff treats it's patients and their loved ones, over the horrible experiences my mom and I had with other places. The worst was Falcon Point Rehab. Do not go there! I had to rush her to the hospital from there over their lack of care. From the experiences I have had, I am overwhelmed by how wonderful Heritage Park was. They treated my mom and I like family and showed kindness, knowledge, patience, understanding, and went above and beyond for us. My mom recently passed away and when she did, they sent flowers to me. It was such a beautiful thing to do. Everyone I met there was just so nice and friendly and they really did take great care of my mom. Please only use Heritage Park for your loved one. I cannot express this enough.

My father is currently at Heritage Park of Katy, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care he has received. The environment is incredibly personal and set in such a peaceful setting, which has made a meaningful difference for both my dad and me. I receive regular updates from the staff and always have the ability to visit or speak with his nurse whenever I need to. This was an incredibly difficult transition for Dad and also for me, but the staff at Heritage Park of Katy truly held my hand every step of the way. They helped me with applications, answered my calls after hours, and were there to listen during some very emotional moments. Their compassion and patience meant more to me than I can express. Most importantly, they take wonderful care of my dad. The environment is interactive and engaging, with regular activities and events that keep residents involved. They even hosted a special birthday celebration for my dad, which meant the world to me. I went through this process largely on my own, without support from family, and the team at Heritage Park of Katy stepped in with extraordinary kindness. They didn’t just care for my dad, they helped me regain rest, refocus on my work, and slowly reclaim my life. I am deeply grateful for everything they have done for my dad and me.

My mother has been a resident at this facility for a little over a year, and she has received very good care. The medical team has done an excellent job managing her medications, which has made a significant difference in her behavior and overall well-being. She is much calmer now and consistently mild-mannered. I would like to give special recognition to DRN Chavonne, who is truly exceptional in every sense of the word. She is an outstanding leader, deeply involved in both patient care and staff oversight. What sets her apart is her genuine compassion and dedication she truly cares, and it shows in everything she does. Anytime I have brought a concern or issue to her attention, she has taken it seriously and acted immediately. She does not dismiss concerns or delay follow-up; instead, she communicates clearly, addresses matters directly with her staff, and ensures they are resolved properly. She holds her nursing team accountable while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment. As a family member, it is incredibly reassuring to know that someone with her level of care, integrity, and commitment is overseeing my mother’s treatment. Thank you Chavonne I would also like to sincerely thank Arieclee, the Laundry Manager. One of my biggest ongoing concerns with this facility has been the frequent misplacement of my mother’s clothing, despite every item being clearly labeled and my willingness to do her laundry myself. Arieclee has been outstanding. She is always responsive, searches thoroughly for missing items, and consistently reminds her team to return clothing to the correct residents. She is kind, attentive, and clearly cares about the patients and their families. Overall, this is a nice facility, and most importantly, my mother is doing well and being cared for.

Every two weeks, I get a thoughtful, detailed phone call from the staff giving a real progress report on how she's doing”medically, physically, everything. It's thorough, caring, and way more comprehensive than anything we've experienced before. No vague summaries; they actually take the time to explain what's working and any adjustments they're making. What stands out most is how much more social my mom has become since moving here. She's always been withdrawn and not interested in interacting with others in past places, but now she's out participating in activities and chatting with residents. It's exactly the kind of engagement she desperately needed, and it's made such a positive difference in her quality of life. The team clearly knows what they're doing and genuinely cares. I chose this place for my mom. It was extremely difficult for me to make the choice to place my mom somewhere but it had become too hard for me to do alone. This facility made it a lot easier. There was no smell when I walked in and I was greeted by EVERYONE I walked past. The place is bright and busy with life. My mom has met a friend here and they play bingo regularly together. The nurses treat her well and she is busy doing something everytime I come to visit her. I live close by so I can came at different times and I haven’t seen anything that concerns me so far. The nurses, aides, physical therapy everyone helps me and my mom understand the processes. There have been a couple of times however when I call in the evening , I have to call back because I don’t get an answer. I brought this to the attention of Ms Shavon and she provided me with her direct contact, which was very reassuring. My overall experience and observation of Heritage Park of Katy is it feels like a place my mom can call home. She has pepped up around her new found friend there and for me that means everything.

We have been through our fair share of not so great nursing homes and this by far is the best facility we have come across. There is an open door policy and the families are very involved with their loved ones. The building is nice and clean and the new management is doing a great job in making it even better. They have some really nice socials for the residents and keep them involved and busy daily. They have their own community here and really do socialize with one another. Don’t just take my review for it, stop in! They are doing some amazing things there!

Our family member has been at Heritage Park for about a year and has chosen to remain there. The management is attentive, responds quickly, and even checks with patients to see if everything is satisfactory. The food is cooked and prepared on site and tastes very good. There is a different variety each day of meats, vegetables, breads, fruits, and desserts. In fact, our family member has gone from being thin and emaciated to filling out to a healthier weight. After dental surgery, the food was changed to mechanically soft and is still very tasty. The nurses and CNAs are kind and take good care of the residents and rehab patients. Careful attention is given to administering the correct medications to each patient. There is a doctor and nurse practioner overseeing our family member's care. The nurse practioner is in Heritage Park at least three times a week, and he/she visits the patients/residents on a regular basis when needed. We have recommended Heritage Park to family, friends, and people we know.

I had both knees replaced within less than a year apart. I chose to rehab with Heritage Park and I would highly recommend them. I recouped so much better than if I’d tried at home. From the nursing care to the Physical and Occupational Therapy, along with activities and good food, I was in the perfect place to heal. Round the clock care for medical, physical and emotional needs were met. The residents are treated like family. Thank you!

This was a beautiful set of homes located on beautiful grounds. The volunteer tour guide was VERY knowledgeable and friendly. She kept the tour interesting for kids that were in our group. Definitely recommend this place on the weekend that the houses are open.
