Wonderful kind and caring staff. The choice of rooms and sizes is great as well. (Assisted Living). My family member was never in Independent- however it looks excellent as well. The food was very good according to my family member as well. (That is the number one complaint most places) The charge Nurse is very knowledgeable and kind. Definitely an excellent choice!

My parents have been residents for a little over a year in Assisted Living @ Carriage Inn. The new nurse, Tien, has been making so many positive changes. She has begun hiring some very good staff and letting go those that don’t seem to want to do their job the way it should be done. Andrew is wonderful-always willing to help & go above & beyond. They make a great team! Frances, the concierge, is a God send & willingly helps anyway she can. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place that will take excellent care of their loved ones.

My mother has been a resident in Carriage Inn Memory Care since it opened in 2014. We are so very fortunate to have an outstanding nurse. Tien is hardworking, compassionate, and most importantly, she requires compassion and empathy from those who work there. She will not tolerate rule breaking and laziness, but at the same time, she has a firm, gentle approach when working. Her assistant, Andrew, has the same impressive qualities as Tien. Under their guidance, Memory Care is truly a happy place for all. I just cannot say enough nice things about Tien, Andrew, and the wonderful staff that care for my mom and all other residents there.

Carriage Inn is a wonderful facility for your loved ones. My wife has been there for a year and half. In recent months the facility has been dedicated in hiring new staff members that have shown dedication to their jobs and love for the residents. Specifically the new nurse, Tien, and her assistant Andrew, have made tremendous positive improvements to the memory care unit. The new staff that Tien has hired exhibit the same dedication to their jobs as Tien. There has been a definite change in the morale in the memory care unit and I am very confident in the care that my wife is receiving at the Carriage Inn.

What I like most of all is the folks living in Carriage Inn and those that work there! They are indeed helpful & very caring. I was a comfy, 85-year-young gal last year, when I headed to Katy, to visit my son David & his loving family. They are dear and Katy is really very nice, but I still get a bit teary, coz I really enjoyed living in Jacksonville, Fla. for many happy years. It was truly tough leaving my many relatives and friends that live east of Katy! I remember telling folks to live by the old adage thingy telling you to 'grow where planted', so I reckon as howze I done grown! Hoo boy! The weather here is very nice and actually, it's really and truly a bit better than Jax, Fla. - so far ~ folks, food, pets ('Lovey' my meou) and most things here are similar to Jax. No complaints so far! I walk a lot, my condo is comfy and I'd recommend it to everyone! Actually, I can't think of anything to complain about here in Katy.

I cant say enough good things about Carriage Inn Katy! My older sister has been living there for almost a year now (yes, through much of the Covid Crisis) and the staff has been nothing but caring, kind, and incredibly responsive to her needs. The folks who work there, from top to bottom, are polite, helpful, and gracious. And though it might seem like a small thing (but really, its a big deal), but I must say, the food is excellent. My sisters apartment is spacious and comfortable and is kept in tip-top shape for her. Bottom line, the atmosphere at Carriage Inn Katy is homey and relaxed, with a top-notch group of people who take great care of those who live there.

My Father in law has been there for 3 years. It is a wonderful, friendly, caring place to call home. The ENTIRE staff are so helpful, attentive, welcoming, friendly. I was there every day for a month so I saw it all. I almost cried when I left. Truly home!

My grandparents currently live at carriage inn and they couldn't be happier. The staff is wonderful and friendly they've made many new friends. They always have great activities going on when I visit. They seem to be just having such a better quality of life ever since carriage inn. I can't say thank you enough to the staff. I highly recommend carriage inn for anybody looking to live in independent living.

I attended an Alzheimer's Fundraiser this past week at Carriage Inn and it was Fabulous! I was able to meet quite a few of the residents and they were all having a blast. Great food, dancing, casino games and prize drawings. The staff was so friendly and I would recommend anyone looking for this type of residence to visit and take a tour.

Carriage Inn Katy is wonderful facility. The caregivers are very kind and caring. It is very obvious the staff enjoy their job (which is hard to find). Everyone always seems happy and confident at the facility. The management team is magnificent and always ready to help. The Executive Director Randy has gone above and beyond to help in many different ways, it would be a book if I stated all the situations that I personally know she went above and beyond. It takes a strong person to not only run a facility but to lead a facility.

My grandparents recently moved here. The independent living cottages are adorable. Not too small and not too big. They offer many different packages to meet the needs of your loved ones. Like meal plans and ride sharing. My family is very happy in their new home.

After 3 years, we find the average stay is about 2. I like the 1-story, the convivial mess hall, the music venues presented often, bridge, poker, gin and even the other games. Meals are alright. Service is primitive. Needed repairs are by a garbage man who pokes it with a screwdriver, then calls a contractor... of some kind. Gardening is possible.Noise levels are controlled. Security is not: there is none: not gate, not TV, not alarms, not walking guard(s). Current recruiting of new residents is aged 90+, mostly unable to walk. Wheel chairs are present. Live-in nursing office people are... casual. CI Office staff is... teen... appearing... if you can find them. The cruise ship bit advertised is better changed to hospital ship. Prices are median-high.
