Chef Leroy Johnson is AMAZING! We had a spectacular rib dinner tonight that was absolutely unbelievable! The meal was truly stellar from start to finish. My parents have lived here for over three years, and I join them for dinner quite often. I live in Dallas, Texas, and dine at some of the finest restaurants, so I can honestly say tonight’s dinner really stood out. Kudos to Chef Johnson and the entire crew! It truly takes a village, especially in a facility, and everyone deserves recognition for making tonight’s meal such a wonderful experience. Special mention to William who does a great job in all areas of Solstice. Thank you, Chef Johnson, for an exceptional dinner! ‘ My Mother and Father have been living here since March 2023 and they absolutely love it! The facility is very clean and the decorations are beautiful. There is a pool table area with a card game table, small gym area with weights and a library. These are just a few of many common areas that make it nice for my parents to not feel "trapped" or confined. Preston the Manager and Linda who works at the front desk, and William who does the repairs are just 3 of the amazing staff at Solstice. Everyone is so friendly here and there are more activities in this facility than a country club. I love to come and visit as the grounds are beautiful and serene. Our family is so glad to have found this gem of a property for our parents. They strive to keep everyone happy with the food, my Mom loves the hamburgers. Keep up the great work!

I recently moved into Solstice Independent living after my wife passes away. Its been a great transition starting with Ty Sfat the Executive Director who took us on an unscheduled tour on a Sunday the food, activities (Kat) have been great and overall service make you feel you are at home. They recently had a World cup game party and a great Father's Day event. Veterans are exceptionally welcomed. I would be open to meeting with family members to see Apt. as well as discuss move here. If you need a place for your elderly parent to live, look no further. The staff AND the residents there are so precious, from Linda, the concierge, to William, the maintenance guy, they love their residents SO much, and you can tell. They know everyone's name and talk to them regularly when they see them at mealtime. And all the residents know the staff and love them, too. It is such a sweet environment. My mom was there for 11 months before she went to Glory. I love Solstice. You will, too.

The facility was extremely clean and the food is out of this world. The administrative staff from the top down to the housekeeping is second to none. The Executive Director is a very level headed individual, willing to work with the staff and residents alike and the Business Ops Manager is extremely attentive to all needs as well as detail oriented.

My mother lived at Solstice for several months before having to move her to memory care. We all loved it here. The people are so helpful and kind! The food is delicious and the activities for the residents are non stop. Definitely would recommend!

Solstice is a God-send! CLEAN, SAFE, FRIENDLY, BEAUTIFUL! I need to especially call out LINDA and WILLIAM, who LOVE these residents through action and word. We are SO happy that Mom is happy there. She has a gorgeous studio apartment with a large balcony and lovely view - 3 delicious meals a day - so many activities to engage in - housekeeping is included, as is daily trash pickup. You could not ask for more - thank you SOLSTICE - DO NOT CHANGE!!!!!!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is acceptable, but not great. My greatest concern for the residents living there is that it is a 3 story, very large complex, but there is only one elevator and it doesn't work very well. If there is a fire, the many residents would have a very difficult time getting out even if they had good mobility. So many residents depend on walkers to stay erect, I pray that there never will be a fire. The other concern is there is no staff on site in the evening hours. On the positive side, the grounds are beautiful and well kept. They have a wonderful activities director and I applaud her efforts at entertaining the residents.

If I had known how wonderful my parents' lives would be a few months after moving them from their home of 43 years, we would have moved them sooner! The investment from the Solstice team in making them feel relevant and cared for is remarkable. From selecting their unit with Destiny, participating in Shelley's creative activities, everyday greetings and check ins from Linda and Crystal, managing other logistics of moving with Yvonne and Preston, and the interactions with William, who covers everything from fixing closet doors to helping my mom plant tomatoes in the raised flower beds there, everyone is kind and thoughtful and fun. What a gift to our family, thank you!

We recently were choosing independent living places for my mother, and were happy to have the opportunity to visit and learn about Solstice Senior Living. We had the great opportunity to meet and get to know Destiny, who is a fantastic representative for Solstice. It's funny - we had some requirements ahead of time, like 1) need to be able to move from independent to assisted to memory care living in the same facility 2) would like a pool 3) need a real kitchen, not a "Marriott Suites" kitchenette. Even though we visited a place that met all those criteria, both we and my mother had the same impression on our two visits - "I can't explain why, but I can feel this is a good place to be, and these are good people to be around." For my mother, a plus was that this is in Grapevine, and access to the REC and Senior Center was appealing (they do a good job). We would have had no issues with choosing Solstice for her home. Do take a look at it - there's more here that touches the heart than you can see from the website.

My mothers been there two years absolutely loves it . The food is an issue at times but they trying . The management is fantastic. The cleaning people could do a little better. Shelley who does the entertainment couldn’t be any better. The management is fabulous here.My mom is happy !

I agonized for 4 months over where to move my mom after she needed to move out of her house. I shopped the entire town, independent and assisted living alike. Solstice was the last place I came to and I cant be happier that I found it for mom. Of course, I was nervous the night before moving her in knowing it would be a big change for her to move from a 3 bedroom house with a pool to an apartment, but on day 1, she absolutely loved it, and this was a woman who said she would never be happy living in a senior living complex and wouldn't engage activities. The people there are so amazing, you cant help but get involved. It's only been 2 weeks and she does nothing but talk about all her friends and all the stuff she does. Shes THRIVING so much that she is not really needing her in home health care that she needed living alone. There are so many thing for tenants to do to stay healthy, engaged, and social. Exercise classes, physical therapy, games, outings, entertainment (they will put on their own plays and such,) church, hymnal singing, and so much more! My favorite part is its independent with an assisted living feel. It's all indoor hallways that easily get to the restaurant, laundry and active area. All the tenants are easy seen by all neighbors and staff so they can do wellness checks often. They're so attentive and are at her door anytime she needs help or even someone to just say hello or check on her. All the tenants are very friendly and engaging, even have ambassador tenants that will check on you for 2 weeks to make sure you're settling in and getting to know your way around. Leadership staff is so attentive too. We love Preston, Destiny and William and see their faces daily as they move around and visit with tenants. To me that speaks volumes. My heart to so happy and at ease with my mother there. I cry happy tears when I see how happy and well cared for my mother is at Solstice. I highly recommend them.

This place is great with my mother in law. There are plenty of activities for them. The staff goes above and beyond. The rooms are beautiful the extra little patios give them some extra outdoor space. We love to visit and are welcomed by all.

This is such a wonderful place. I moved my dad in a couple months ago and it has been so great for him. He has recently had some health problems and they have gone above and beyond to help me with the proper resources to get him the help he needs. Preston is so very nice and has been really great to our family. My dad has made a lot of new and caring friends. I definitely recommend these apartments for your loved ones.

The location is really amazing. I love the property and the way it look on the outside and the inside. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Solstice Senior Living in Grapevine, Texas has so much hospitality that it makes you feel like you are home. I really love the event that took place on a beautiful afternoon with Elvis Presley. Visited Solstice with my parents this week. Apartments are good sized with just the right amount of space and storage for downsizing. Pricing is good for senior independent living, especially in this area. We hope to move them in this Spring!

Visited with Sales Director, Tim, and found the perfect studio apartment for my 101yr old father. He has a patio where he can sit outside on nice days and let his little dog join him. I was very impressed with the facility and the activities they have for all residents to participate in and stay active. It is very important to keep my father engaged with other people. He has many life adventures to share.

We were matched with Solstice through A Place for Mom while searching for senior living for my mother-in-law. Spent a lot of time talking and emailing with Mark Williams gathering information. He is FANTASTIC! Just the other day Dina got a tour and fell in love with the place. All the people we have come into contact with have been amazing!

This facility used to be very well maintained and provided a great environment for their independent living residents. A friend of mine moved to "Colleyvine Ranch" in 2013 when it was a Holiday owned property. Loved to visit there! Had respectful management and staff. Always clean and up to date with a nice dining experience for independent living residents and guests. My mother moved in for a brief period and then had to go to rehab. When she tried to get back in, it was full in 2014. In 2016, she was able to move back in, expecting the same quality as before but it was not to be. The facility began to experienced a noticeable decline in all areas and many residents started moving out due to higher costs, series of management turnover and poor food quality and services. Mom also decided to exit after the recent acquisition by a new senior living management company - Solstice Senior Living. The new owners made a lot of promises with fancy presentations but cut backs, lack of experienced management, poor communication to residents and overall lack of property upkeep continued to be a serious issue. She still has many friends there and visits once a week if not more, only to find the transition to be very rough going for the residents who seem to be moving out weekly. It is such a shame to see this once shining jewel in a wonderful location in the community of Grapevine fall into such decay. I feel sorry for the fine residents there as the fees are not cheap for what is delivered.
