While I realized that they are a private pay community and not medicaid, I spoke with Jennifer at Grand Brook and she was kind enough to give me resources for medicaid facilities for my dad. Although she knew I wouldn't be able to afford granbrook for our dad, she spent a lot of time explaining how that process works which was very sweet of her. I really appreciate that she had compassion for what we are going through and the time she spend with me.

I was so impressed that all the Staff calls each Resident by their name. Residents are not left in their rooms, but enjoy daily activities in the large living room. Recently, Maddie & Tara, Activities Staff, were leading the Residents in the Pledge Alliance and then the singing of the National Anthem. It was heart warming to see and hear, even those Residents severely handicapped, showing respect. Felecia, the Chef, makes all the Residents feel welcomed in the dining areas and she prepares great meals. Jennifer has been so caring in making sure all the information we received is what was promised. Vanessa, RN, is right there to answer medical concerns of our loved ones. The Med Techs are so careful in administering each person's medications. My husband is always clean shaven and his clothes clean. I am impressed with the many well furnished and cheerful rooms where families and Residents can visit. I am thankful Nurse Garcia and Maria, told me about Grand Brook.

When the time comes to make the very hard decision to place your loved one into memory care, please look carefully at Grandbrook Memory Care. It was the best decision we made to move our mom there.Jennifer, sales manager, could not have been more knowledgeable, comforting, loving and extremely patient. She walked me step by step and helped make this transition wonderful.This staff at Grandbrook is excellent! Everyone there is very dedicated to the residents. Jennifer, Barbara, Vanessa, Marian, Dr. Scott etc are wonderful and I couldnt ask for a better experience.

Where to even begin. My sister and I are both nurses and look at facilities through that lense. We moved my mom out of her assisted living facility (which was doing a lackluster job at best) to Grand Brook Grapevine. The facility is a direct reflection of the Director Barbara. I cannot say enough good things. They communicate and seek to actively involve families in care decisions. Their facility physician Dr. Scott actually CARES! The nursing staff headed up by Vanessa is proactive and attentive.

We live in the area and talked with Jennifer about my father-in-law needing to move to Memory Care. We werent sure where we would move him because of family in two different states. Although we made the final decision to move him to the other state, I cannot say enough about Jennifer. She is absolutely the most wonderful, and caring provider I have talked to. She talked with me about his care and all that could be provided knowing we may not move him into her facility. It didnt matter she wanted the very best for him and it was perfectly clear that is all she truly cared about. She educated us in every aspect of his care no matter. I cannot say enough about her as she just put our minds at total ease. I just trust her so much. If Grand Brook is your choice I know Jennifer will be part of the main reasons you do choose it. She is an incredible caring person. Grand Brook would have been our choice if it had been our decision only. Its an amazing place even in the midst of the pandemic. No matter Grand Brook provides top quality care. I would highly recommend it to anyone facing this decision.

Grand Brook has done an excellent job taking care of my father-in-law (Howard) ... The Nurses and Staff engage with the patients throughout the day. They seem to spend very little time during the day in their own rooms. Instead, they are in the sitting rooms (listening and learning), TV Rooms, or dinner areas being involved as little or as much as they would like to be involved in the days events. We are able to monitor his room, remotely and the we have open lines of communication (Email, Text and Phone). The Nurses and Staff are also very patient and for the most part everything they need is provided for them at the center. If we had it to do all over again, we would definitely have trusted Grand Brook with Howards care.

This facility is truly an answer to prayers! I toured several memory care facilities but when I toured Grand Brook it felt like home for my mother. I like that the facility is only memory care makes if feel more like home. The caregivers and staff are great! They offer daily activities to keep residents engaged. I was so concerned my mother would have some difficulty acclimating to her new home but to my surprise she did extremely well. I contribute this to the caregivers and staff. I would highly recommend anyone searching for a memory care facility for their loved one to visit Grand Brook Memory Care.

Nothing but the best care at Grand Brook Memory Care of Grapevine! After having a nightmare experience at the former home where my mother in law was staying in Bedford, we were fortunate enough to find Grand Brook! It has been a night and day experience, and seems almost surreal. Trust me when I say, after what we initially went through we did our research and we are happy to say we found the best memory care home that is out there! Its obvious by the attitude that the employees have, the attrition rate and the director-manager Barbara is unbelievably dedicated and truly a one of a kind find. Nothing like the last place we were at, you would have never seen the manager interact or step foot around the residents, much less treat them in a loving manner like Barbara does! And the food...WOW its all homemade and so delicious! Unlike the cardboard, frozen crap they fed her at the former facility in Bedford. They have daily activities, that are actually enjoyable and get the residents involved. Do yourself a favor, and go see for yourself!

Grand Brook Grapevine is an exemplary example of how all Memory Care facilities should operate. My loved one is treated with the utmost respect and compassionate care each and every day. The staff is well trained and the leadership takes a very active role with each resident and all truly have a ‘servants heart to provide the best experience and community for our loved ones struggling with such a tragic disease of dementia. The caregivers at Grand Brook are so aptly named because of the high quality of care they provide to everyone who walks through their doors. They love my grandma so well, and they were always looking after my grandpa's health even though he wasn't a resident there. Our family is so grateful for the care and support they've shown every single one of us while they care for our grandma and for the resources they have available to walk us through a loved one's memory loss. (Grammy especially loves when Cowboy Bob comes to sing!)

My Mother lived with me for many years. When I was no longer able to give her the care she needed, the Executive Director and Director of Healthcare actually came to my house to evaluate Mom. They built a rapport with her and helped make her transition seamless. The care at Grand Brook is beyond my expectations. The food is fabulous and we are always welcome to come and eat with Mom or bring in Mom’s favorite meal. The facility is clean and has a nice layout. The staff is very friendly. They encourage residents to participate and never force anything upon them. Mom has so much more stimulation with the daily activities and exercise classes tailored just for her than I could have provided for her at home. She has actually made new friends. Grand Brook welcomes family’s to continue to be involved with our loved ones. The Nursing care is excellent. They are always available for any concerns or questions I might have. I highly recommend Grand Brook in Grapevine for anyone who is looking for a nurturing environment that truly cares for the residents and their families.

My mother (Mrs Patricia) moved to Grand Brook Memory Care the summer of 2015. Mother had been in several facilities through the last 9 years. (Independent, Assisted, Rehab facilities...) My mother always liked her independence so she lived close by the family, but had her own place. When her care became more than her previous locations could help her with, we scrambled to find a place that could help with COPD, Congestive Heart, Silent Aspirations (causing continuous bouts of pneumonia), as well as progressive dementia. As my sister and I learned through the years, marketing can present things as wonderful and perfect for your loved one. Grand Brook's presentation was just what they promised. One thing we found to be fact, Grand Brook did not treat the residents as a business, but they cared for my mother just like they would have cared for their own mother. We have learned in the last 18 years of caring for my in laws and my parents that every place has some fall back, but when you know your parent is truly loved, you know they are being cared for the as best as humanly possible.They really loved my mother as well as all the residents. Until mother's passing May 13 2017, mom stayed healthier than she had been for the last 9 years. Any signs that she might be struggling with an infection, Grand Brook partnering with Anchor of Hope Hospice would take care of it quickly which helped prevent the rapid decline for those that are so frail. One thing that was told us before we came to Grand Brook was that they try to know their residence and do for them what is important to them. My mother made it known that she liked to still have her clothes match, jewelry just so and her make up on each day. They did this each day for her. She always looked very cared for. It was evident that the same care went to other residence, other residence possibly didn't care that they were all fixed up, but the others were always clean and tidy. The facility was also kept as clean as the residence. The compassion, love and kindness was extended just as much to our family as we cared for mother. Mother only suffered a couple of days before she passed, Grand Brook came along side us and loved us well and mother well during her last days. Thank you all of you, you still feel like extended family.
