It can be a very emotional experience when moving a parent into AL. The support I have received has helped so much. Big shoutout to Tonya, who is my mom’s favorite, for her comfort, hugs, love and sense of humor which is so refreshing. Also to Tireatha, who has bent over backwards to help us. I highly recommend Parkview!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting parkview in frisco to give a talk, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and highly professional, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. What a wonderful facility! I am a Girl Scout Troop Leader, and our troop made blankets for residents of the memory care building. We were so impressed with how nice and welcoming the staff were- the entire place was clean, inviting and filled with care. Our girls read to the residents. shared sweet treats and even sang a classic Girl Scout song to end the visit with! It was a great visit, the coordinator (Reiza - please forgive me if I misspell) was AMAZING. truly so kind for allowing us to visit and stay as long as we did. She was sooooo nice and we hope to visit again very soon !!

Thanks to Melinda for a great initial experience. After a couple of visits and a lot of QandA, we decided to move into Parkview. Very impressed with the apartment we selected and the overall feel of a relational community. Ready now to start a new phase of our lives at Parkview.

Had a private tour. Melinda was knowledgeable, friendly, informative, and helpful. Good handout materials/brochures to take home to review. Invited us back to participate in an activity and have lunch to meet residents. Very nice facility.

My mother has been in independent living at Parkview for the past 8 months. After visiting several places, we easily decided that Parkview would be the best fit for her. It immediately felt like family. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. She’s made friends who check up on her daily. The staff is phenomenal. Every person on staff we’ve encountered has been a true angel. I really get the feeling that they treat each resident as they would a beloved family member. My mother often says that she is “exactly where she is supposed to be.” I feel very lucky that we found such a wonderful place that can meet her every need. I would recommend Parkview to anyone looking for a place where their parent can age gracefully surrounded by caring people.
May 2023
Moving my mom from our childhood home to Frisco was agonizing. After visiting many nice local independent senior living apartments, Parkview in Frisco stood out and was her clear choice. We cannot imagine a better location for Mom. The following are strengths we have observed during and since Mom’s move to Parkview: (1) conscientious, personable, and helpful staff that relate to residents and me as a family member as good friends they know and love, (2) friendly residents that make mealtimes and activities enjoyable, (3) apartment layouts that are modern, manageable, and comfortable, (4) bright, colorful, thoughtful decor, (5) ten minute proximity to our home, church, pharmacy, multiple medical offices, and every kind of grocery and retail, (6) excellent daily menu with a variety of delicious meals (I’ve eaten with my mom many times—food is consistently fresh and served by friendly staff), (7) variety of activities on site and transportation available when needed, (8) on-site hair dresser and on-site visits by various medical professionals (for example, an audiologist visits regularly), (9) responsive maintenance to keep rooms and general facilities clean and functional, (10) residents seem to have easy input to submit requests, (11) staff turnover doesn’t seem very high, which is nice for residents, (12) assisted living and memory care transfers are possible on site, (13) costs seem to be moderate for such well-staffed and well-managed apartments. Considering the entire time my mom has lived at Parkview, I tried to think of any criticisms or concerns. There are a few occasions when visitor parking gets rather full, but there is access to gated parking, so it hasn’t been a significant issue. It’s hard for us to believe that there aren’t more negatives to note. I’ve spent considerable time thinking critically and comparing senior living options in Frisco, but I have no additional concerns to mention. We feel very blessed to have found Parkview in Frisco.

Husband & I moved from out of state. The caring community here - staff & residents - welcomed us. People readily helped at every step of the settling in. After a little adjustment, our daily lives were enriched by the social opportunities; variety of activities (games, art, exercise) plus outings to church & museums; delicious assortment of foods at meals. The setting gifted us with a new life of enjoyment in spite of health concerns.

Mom moved from an apartment in Frisco to Independent living at Parkview. Melinda and the Parkview team made the move so easy. They worked hard to find mom the right apartment and she is very pleased at her new location. The Parkview team made themselves available every time we wanted to see one of the apartments and answered all our questions such that there were no surprises. Mom has met some wonderful people who reside at Parkview and has settled into the Parkview life. Thanks to Melinda and the team for all they did to make her move experience so easy.

After visiting several independent living facilities in the Frisco-Plano area, we chose Parkview in Frisco. The staff is competent and responsive, the residents are friendly, there is a wide variety of activities, the food is good, the location is ideal and the price is competitive. It was a good decision and we are very pleased. Betsy and Sam
February 2023
Both of my parents moved to The Parkview in Frisco in 2018. Over the last 5 years they have progressed through each of the 3 levels of care offered, culminating in Memory Care. At each of the 3 levels my parents were lovingly cared for by staff who were trained to meet each of their unique needs. At the difficult point when my parents were in different stages of care, the staff understood the importance of keeping my parents together. As their child, I knew it was vital for their mental and physical health. The staff was creative and loving and my parents were side by side until my father passed away. Losing a spouse or parent is never easy, but having a parent in Memory Care who loses their spouse is especially hard. Alzheimer's is difficult and scary in so many ways, but the staff is incredibly sensitive and caring to my mother, and myself, while my mother progresses through the disease. My brother or I have visited my parent(s) nearly everyday since they arrived in 2018, so we've seen it all. What we have experienced is a caring, loving and engaging environment geared toward making each resident feel unique and special. Programs are geared to bring joy and fulfillment, whether it's a visiting musical guest, theme parties or field trips. One of the hardest things to accomplish is keeping weight on seniors. Quality and quantity of food are never a concern. The food at Parkview is hands down amazing. I have tried at least 80% of the numerous dishes. The menu is always changing, the food is seasoned expertly, it is beautifully presented, and is served in such a way that each resident (with or without assistance) can eat until they are satisfied. I would not have my mom anywhere that the food was not top-notch. The aides who provide the hands on care of my mother are beautiful people with loving hearts. They are very attentive and meet her individual needs. If I'm having an especially frustrating visit (because Alzheimers can be very frustrating), they make a point of meeting my needs as well. I never feel like I'm walking this road alone. I could not be any more certain that my mom is receiving the best care available.

Just moved 2 months ago into this fantastic retirement community called Parkview at 7450 Stonebrook Parkway in Frisco, Texas. The primary reason this place won me over was the leasing agent, Melinda Andrews. This bright, energetic woman matched me perfectly with a great apartment. But the most persuasive factor was her ability to show me the friendliness of staff and residents, the incredible diversity of activities, the restaurant quality food, all located in this gorgeous well-maintaianed facility, complete with landscaped courtyards, art classes, a fitness center, beauty salon, game room, library, housekeeping service, theater, outings to museium, concerts, and shopping-- just to name a few. What really sold me on Parkview, after visiting a large number of other reitirement communities, was that Parkview was this terrific cross between the amenities of a cruise ship and the fun of summer camp! The entire staff is dedicated to putting a smile on your face. Every resitdent is made to feel so loved and cared for. And that is pure gold.Thank you, thank you ,Melinda.... I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

The two of us came to Parkview four and a half years ago from our home in Tucson, Arizona after our son transferred to a position in Dallas. It was our first experience with an independent living facility. We were a touch apprehensive. Parkview could not have worked out better. It's greatest strength is the informality, the relaxed relationships among residents - the always lively conversation in the dining room is illustrative. Someone recently was impressed that everyone says hello in the halls. People know each other's names. Equally good is the relationship between residents and staff from the front office to dining room servers to housekeepers. It helps - and says something about Parkview - that as many as seven of our staff have been here ten years or more, including our very good chef and two of his cooks. There are multiple activities - card games, bingo, brain teasers, exercise groups, lecture series, movies, etc. - but no pressure to be involved; some residents are content to do their own things. Residents, for the most part, have lived at least for awhile in Texas, but in fact come originally from all over the country, many from the mid-West, even from New York and other eastern states. Being in Frisco, a booming Dallas suburb, has also been an attraction for us. One doesn't feel out of circulation. In short, Parkview has been a good place to be. No longer necessary to keep up household chores, cook, etc. but still lead as active a life as we wish. It merits five stars.

At the TASTE OF THE HOLY LAND event on July 19, 202 I had 18 people there and the Director Trudy TURNER she took some pictures but being her there makes all be possible to know her and they were very happy because she was helpful and serving the people explaining everything they want and make my event very successful and I appreciate that thank you

I am the child of a prospective resident. We ultimately decided to live elsewhere. These are my initial impressions. The rooms are decent. Slowly being updated. Air conditioning units are individual and outside at ground level and can be noticeable and noisy, if that is a concern. They affect every room in the facility. Other facilities do not have this. The central garden plazas are pleasant and a net positive. The initial impression upon entry is small. You might like this. I like large central common areas for the natural gathering of residents to encourage social cohesion and feel like this is limited here to the point of not possible due to lack of gathering space. It just feels tight to me, and I have some experience at other facilities here and out of State. My main concern with this facility is empathy. Empathy for the human condition of, and care for those who are aging is central and paramount to any facility charged with providing for the aged in all their unique limitations. Without providing details, my experience here was one in which I grade this a fail (with a shining exception). My parents suffer from a newly diagnosed condition and made a mistake, notified Parkview of it < 24 hours. I grade the experience of resolution of our problem as one of the worst of my life. It was gross. I found myself having to assert myself strongly in defense of my parents' situation. Management ultimately offered a reasonable solution, but to get there, against our previously friendly sales rep was ... unforgettable. One person, she knows who she is, demonstrated Texas hospitality, common sense and compassion, for which I am very grateful, especially given the comparative conflict with the rest of the team. She called after hours one evening and brought a smile to my face as she completed the resolution with kindness and ... empathy. If it was only about our sales rep who gave us the tour, my grade would be one star. She was not nice, at all. The other person who called me late at night and was so very kind, and resolved our dilemma completely, raises the rating to what I consider a fair three stars.

We are considering moving here. They are remodeling the rooms as each is re-let. The prices are inline with other nice Independant Living apartments with decent meals included in the rent. We old folks can bore each other here by telling them who we used to be.

I dont have a loved one living at Parkview or have any other connection. But, I had to come and leave a little story. I took my kids to the park last week and there was a small group from Parkview having a picnic of their own. I was just in awe at how amazing the staff were that were escorting them that day. They were helpful without being condescending. They treated everyone with respect - asking before touching their belongings, etc. and they spoke to them like they were friends rather than toddlers. This just made me so happy to witness. (This was at Hope Park in Frisco on April 19, 2021 - a big thank you to those ladies treating these individuals with the kindness and respect they deserve.)

My mother has been at Parkview Independent Living for 10 years and is now moving over to their Assisted Living building (Feb 21). The staff and management at Parkview is so caring with the residents. They were also so creative in the ways they pivoted during 2020 to keep residents safe and connected. They are so helpful with guidance-referrals when my mom needed some extra help for taking medications and extra help during the day. And now, she is actually excited to move to the Assisted Living for getting more personal attention :-). I highly recommend considering Parkview.

Parkview was such a blessing for our family. My grandpa started in assisted living and moved to memory care. I cant say enough good things about every single staff member. Bibi and Faith were absolutely amazing. Dorianne was so fun and full of energy. Your fear when you have to find a place like this for your loved one is that they wont be cared for as well as you would care for them. Parkview took better care of my grandpa than we ever could have. So thankful to have found them.

This is an AMAZING community - not only is it beautiful inside and out but the staff is sooo friendly and helpful (many of them have worked there for years!!) and the residents are sweet as can be. I've noticed that there's ALWAYS a happy buzz in the restaurant - which to me says a lot about how much people enjoy themselves and I've NEVER seen that so consistently at any of the other many many communities that I've been to - and the food is GREAT! Parkview actually have the ONLY restaurant that I've been to in the US where I can get a salmon cooked and served as it should be - and I'm from northern Sweden so I definitely know my salmon! 😀 ...and the grilled chicken salad with the Chef's homemade dressing - O M G it's so fingerlickin' gooooood I wished they sold it bottled!! The last time I visited, I got the chance to see their new Assisted Living and Memory Care next door and...WOW!! That is the most astonishing AL/MC that I've EVER seen - on any side of the Atlantic ocean! It seriously looks like a serene SPA with a Texas-twist - it's sooooo beautiful in every little detail and it's amazingly well thought through to help the residents thrive. It totally astonished me and still, I have a veeeery critical eye when it comes to living conditions and surroundings! 😀 I definitely recommend this place! 🙂
