I am writing this email out of sheer frustration and disgust regarding my experiences with The Cottages at Chapel Creek. As a concerned individual, I feel it is crucial to bring to light the alarming issues plaguing this facility. First and foremost, the lack of staff and caregivers is appalling. It is evident that management has failed to prioritize the well-being of both residents and employees. The few caregivers available are overwhelmed and unable to provide the necessary attention and care that residents deserve. This is not just a minor inconvenience; it is a serious neglect of duty that directly impacts the quality of life for those who live here. Moreover, I am deeply disturbed by the apparent racism exhibited by management. It is disheartening to witness how staff members are treated based on their race, and it creates an incredibly toxic environment. Management's indifference to the well-being of their staff is clear, and it reflects poorly on the values of this facility. To add to the chaos, I have also noticed management’s dogs running freely around the premises. It is beyond unacceptable that these animals are allowed to roam, leaving messes everywhere. This not only creates an unsanitary environment but also shows a blatant disregard for the residents who deserve a clean and safe living space. Additionally, the nurses here are not receiving the support they need from the Vice President or HR. It is incredibly disheartening to see dedicated healthcare professionals struggling without the backing they need to provide quality care. The lack of training for staff is another critical issue. Despite numerous requests for proper training, staff members are consistently denied the opportunity to learn and grow in their roles. This not only affects employee morale but also directly impacts the level of care provided to residents. Overall, my experience at The Cottages at Chapel Creek has been nothing short of horrific. The combination of understaffing, management's racist behavior, unsanitary conditions, and lack of support and training creates an environment that is far from acceptable for both residents and staff. I sincerely hope that this email serves as a wake-up call to management to address these serious issues before more residents suffer the consequences of their negligence. Sincerely, WORKER

After visiting several memory care facilities to ensure my mother would be well cared for in her journey through this difficult stage of her life, I found The Cottages at Chapel Creek to be a notch above the others. Starting with an aesthetically pleasing environment to the quality of the staff, it is evident management seeks to provide the highest quality care for their residents while also providing important resources for family. In the two years my mother has been a resident, I can verify the commitment to the best care possible remains a top priority.

The new chef Eric Marazzi is amazing! He will not only benefit and uplift the residents, he will uplift the employees with his grandiose friendly and loving self. He grew up with his father from Switzerland in the food industry from waitering in special locations all over Europe, being WINSTON CHURCHILLS private waiter, to being offered a job in Fort Worth Texas as a General Manager at Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth Texas. Eric Marazzi has his wits behind his pre ancestors. Ask Walter Kauffman! From Fort Worth! I accept Eric Marazzi as not o ly an asset to Cottages at Chapel Creek, but to any place of greatness God has to offer.Go get them Eric! Proud of you!

This place is terrific! The caregivers and staff, the doctors and nurses, the layout and decor, every part is equally wonderful. First of all, it is beautiful, and feels totally different than the typical memory care when you walk in and when you stay here. It is bright, cheery, and full of life, instead of lonely and depressing. I have been to 30 facilities ranging from memory care, to independent living and none compare to this! Secondly, the staff from the top down is wonderful. The longer your loved one is there, the more you realize this. They are sweet, skillful and available! My mother has gone through ups and downs with her dementia to the point of being psychotic and even aggressive when they help her shower or use the bathroom or come out of her room for lunch or to take her medicine. Every caregiver or nurse that is dealing with my mom has been super patient and caring during any episode that my mom has had. They calm her and very skillfully figure out a creative way to help my mother. Time and time again! This isnt only every staff member, it is the management, and marketing team. EVERYONE!!! I have gotten to know them and they care for my mom like I do. And by the way we have cameras in her room, so we watch all the time, so this is speaking from someone who is actually observing this constantly. I cant thank them enough for caring enough about my Mom and understanding enough about the disease to know that this isnt my mom when she acts this way and not giving up on her but continuing to be there for her in a very trying time in her life. My Mom deserves that, and I thank god that they are giving that to her and that I found this place! Thank You Cottages! I love every one of you!

Our loved one has been at the Cottages 11months and we only have the highest recommendations for the wonderful loving facility, The staff is wonderful and caring, We love that it is small so there is great attention to each residents care needs. Our family feels extremely blessed our loved one being cared for at the Cottages.

I visit a dear friend weekly and highly recommend The Cottages at Chapel Creek. The facility is lovely and well managed. The staff are caring, kind and supportive, creating a safe and engaging environment for the residents. I enjoy sharing the entertainment with my friend. My mother has been a resident at The Cottages for just over a year. I am very pleased with the leadership at this memory care facility. It is clear that they put the residents first and expect the same from staff. I trust the leadership and staff to care for my mother in a kind, compassionate and professional manner. The expert chefs prepare delicious and nutritious meals. Activities are well-planned and provide a variety of sensory experiences for the residents. The facility is well-appointed with wide hallways, interesting and colorful art, and comfortable resident rooms. Family members are encouraged to participate with the residents and there are many opportunities to volunteer. I am grateful to The Cottages leadership for the care, dementia and Alzheimers related resources, the monthly support group and opportunities for families to spend quality time with our loved ones in a safe and caring environment.

I highly recommend The Cottages at Chapel Creek for any loved one dealing with any form of dementia. My mom has been there since March, and it is a comfort and relief to know that she is safe, well-cared for, and has access to numerous and varied wonderful activities (light exercise, sing-a-longs, outside entertainment brought in house, crafts, etc.). The Cottages is a beautiful facility which was important to my mom (versus a more institutional feel). The food is excellent, and the staff cares about each resident and shows that in all of their interactions. The fixed price covering everything is extremely helpful in our budgeting and planning for the future. We are lucky to have found The Cottages!

I am stunned at the negative reviews posted on this site. I have found The Cottages a wonderful memory care facility. They have many, many caregivers, two activity directors and a nurse on staff 24 hours a day. My husband s room is always neat and his bathroom always clean. The director is very compassionate and the caregivers really seem to care about the residents. They have activities that include the families at least twice a month. If you read the reviews carefully, you will see those that have family living there are very good. ALL the negative reviews seem to come from former employees. It is sad that disgruntled former employees can so negatively impact a facility.
