About a month ago I wrote a very negative review about the food here at Village on the Park. But after I wrote it I was contacted by Andrea our Director and Chef Richard. They scheduled a meeting with me and went over all of my complaints. They addressed each one and told me how they planned to improve in each area. I was so pleased that I had been heard. Afterwards we all noticed a marked improvement in all areas and are now really enjoying our meals. We are getting a better variety of foods, they are tasty and served HOT! I cannot say thank you enough! I am even going to post a picture I took of a delicious duck dinner Chef Richard prepared for us an notice what a nice presentation.

We have been blessed by Village on the Park. The staff truly cares about their residents AND the resident's extended family. We have been very impressed with Chef Richard and the quality of food being served. Excellent!!

My Mom moved to the Village when she could no longer live on her own. She had a one bedroom apt. The Village supplied 3 meals and snacks, transportation, entertainment, activities etc. She was given a medical pendant to alert the staff if she needed medical help. The Village supplied housekeeping. There was a washer/dryer for the residents. Mom loved the apt, and made friends very quickly. The staff was very caring, friendly and professional. Only problem was that the food needed more variety. She wanted Mexican and Chinese, or a cafeteria similar to Luby's.

I chose to sell my home and move here when I felt living alone was no longer safe for me. My family was so happy about my decision they waisted no time getting me moved in. I have never regretted it. I love the staff and the way they work to make it a happy place to be. The building is very attractive and the way they decorate for holidays is absolutely gorgeous. It puts me in the spirit of the holidays!.. But most of all I love all the new friends I have made here. Especially after living alone in my home for a year after my husband passed away. Being here gives my life more meaning and puts a smile on my face again. I love it here! Also love our Chef Richard! He is the best!!

I just moved here and I normally take time to write a review, but this place deserves an immediate one.The welcome I recieved here was unbelievable. From the moment I entered the lobby, I could tell I was surrounded by professional, kind, and caring people.From the general manager to the consiaire staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I have lived in several senior living places, but I think this one is the best I ever experienced. It's quiet and peaceful, yet there are many things to do here. Check this place out before you commit to any other place. The food, apartments, and surroundings are all excellent. Special thanks to Lisa, Ali, Joe, consiaires, and all the staff who made me feel I was immediately at home.

I been looking for my mother to find a new community after the February storm I have to say this is the best dining experience I have ever tried in the Clearlake , Friendswood area this like a fine dining experience the Chef is a treasure he is a genius at his Art of Culinary And My mom will be moving in Next month Thank you so much Chef Richard in making my decision easy !!!

Cant say enough good things about this facility, and everyone that works there. They are awesome! I moved our mother in there, and its been a blessing. The food is Great and they Have a very Talented Chef He is Awesome !!!They always have activities and things going. Great Food Five stars like eating in Fine restaurant you Have a Terrific Chef very well Train !!! Very clean, well-maintained and attractive. Lots of activities, amenities and options. The apartments were reasonably sized and the staff was friendly and helpful. The lunch was Very good and they had portion options, so you could get small, medium or large, and they had lots on offer. A Awesome facility. very well Ran Great dining room service !!!!

Weve just recently moved our Dad here after looking at other communities in the Houston area and I knew after our first visit that this would be a great place for him to enjoy the rest of his senior years! There are newer and what I call fancier places but its the people on staff who make this place special. There is tremendous stability among the staff with many working there 10-14 years! We also like the fact that while Dad is now able to live independently if he should need help in the future that can be arranged. Village on the Park Friendswood has gone above and beyond to make my Dad feel welcome and hes settled in nicely and is making new friends! Here you will be part of the family and people truly care about you!

Excellent independent living facility. The staff is professional, caring and accommodating. The grounds and building are always neat and very clean. The dining room is light, airy and provides healthy meals and snacks. There are a wide variety of daily activities and outings. I have had family living there for over 10 years and they truly enjoy the lifestyle Village On The Park provides.
