Morada Friendswood – Reviews
Morada is THE PLACE for my family as they age. The staff is very attentive, as well as accommodating. This is a beautiful property with a great staff
While it is difficult to entrust the care of my Dad to others, we know it is best for him. Morada's services are overall as advertised but the real jewel is the heart they put into their work. It is above and beyond what can only be purchased. Judy Cox Jackson
It’s such a good feeling when the families and residents are happy with how our staff provide great care of everyone. Our care staff/managers have a passion for what they do and do it well. THANK YOU MORADA CARE STAFF !
Morada is a beautiful community. You can clearly see that the staff love the residents. Highly recommend this place.
My mother has lived here for years, she receives the best care. I couldn’t be more thankful for the staff for all they do for her. It’s a blessing knowing my mom is in good hands
Appears to be a nice facility with Senior Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Good location very close to many stores. Husband and I were very impressed with the entire layout and the many amenities included here. Becky was very friendly, informative and helpful during our meeting and tour.
I could not be more pleased! I am very thankful to have a wonderful place like this for my mom. The staff is amazing! They truly care about the residents and go out of their way to make them feel loved and special!
We recently moved our mother into this community and we couldnt be more pleased with this decision. This community and their friendly staff have been very accommodating to her. They offer various activities and great food choices to keep her active and engaged. We havent seen our mother enjoy herself this much in a long time.
We are very pleased with Atria. My moth in law is a resident. The staff is wonderful. The director and all the staff have been nothing but accommodating and helpful. We toured several places and Atria was warm and felt like a home. The decor is welcoming. The activities manages as an array of activities for the resident.Lastly, the resident assistance are wonderful and friendly and loving.Thank you for taking such good care of my mother in law.
Atria Friendswood seemed very nice. I had a meal there and toured the facility. If my husband had to go in a facility, that would be where I would probably put him. We looked at one room. The bathroom seemed small, but all in all it was OK. It would have worked for us. They have activities going on and the people there were very happy with their activity person. They had an activity person for assisted living and another for memory care. From what I could see, the food, the way they presented the food, and the way the workers presented themselves, it looked like a very nice place. They've had the same chef and maintenance man for 18 years. It seemed like the people that work there have been there a long time. There's not a big turnover as far as their staff goes.
This place is really nice for the elderly
Brookdale Friendswood was a beautiful place with pretty surroundings, but our biggest disappointment was they didn't have a 2-bedroom apartment available. However, the apartments that we saw were really nice. They have a library, an exercise room, and a beautiful dining room.
We liked Brookdale Friendswood, but they had no availability. The memory care unit there was very nice. The residents are allowed to go outside. They have a lot of interaction. The rooms are very nice and very roomy. The staff seemed excellent. As far as activities, we didn't see a tremendous amount going on, but we did see some. They did not have any kind of leveled care. They have an outdoor garden area, a big community room where they do their activities, and a separate dining area which is very nice and especially set up for memory care folks.
We moved here from another facility. I am in assisted living and my wife needs memory care. The previous place was beautiful, but the care was of a very poor quality. They have had for Directors in four years and the resident turnover was huge. Needing to move, I visited several facilities before deciding on Brookdale in Friendswood. It is a happy place and that sets it apart from the others. Don't expect perfection. We did not have that at home. I give it five stars after comparing it to what I saw out there during my visits to their facilities. They all seemed to cost about the same, but the genuineness of Brookdale takes the top rating.
Brookdale Friendswood seemed very nice. They take Alzheimer's patients. There were a lot of elderly people working on jigsaw puzzles. They had a small library. The food seemed good for those who could walk and get to the dining hall.
My mother stayed at Brookdale for two years. She made a lot of friends, liked the staff, and enjoyed it there. However, her friends started dying, and it got very expensive, so we brought her back home.
I visited Brookdale Friendswood. The hallways were large. It had a lot of nice amenities. I saw one room, and it was fine. They had sitting areas down the hallways which was nice. It had a little movie theater, and I liked it. The outdoor courtyard was nice. We would have chosen it except that it was too far from our home. The staff was really friendly.
I liked Brookdale Friendswood a little bit more, and they had individual emergency button necklaces that they could wear, but they were more expensive because they had additional nurses for people who couldnt get out of bed. The rooms were very nice; you had options to have 1 or 2-bedrooms. The staff was very nice, helpful, knowledgeable, and caring.
The staff was very attentive at Brookdale Friendswood. They explained a lot of things to us. There was a memory care area and a regular resident section. The dining area was nice and looked inviting. It was decorated nicely and looked homey. There were little niches with couches in them, and people could get out of their rooms to watch TV.
Brookdale Friendswood was a very nice place. They talked to us about their activities in the activity room, like jewelry making and a lot of classes. From my short visit, the staff seemed very nice and friendly.
The staff of Brookdale Friendswood was friendly. The rooms were a bit small but clean and had everything you needed. I was really looking for respite care for my mom, so it would have only just been like a week. They had a dining room -- which seemed nice -- and a medication dispenser area. The dining area looked roomy enough, and they had it decorated nicely.
