The Watermark at Broadway Cityview is a very beautiful place. I meet Tracey and Sheri both while trying to make a decision on the best place for my Mom. They both took their time to answer any questions I or my Mom had on the facility. The studio apartments and the one bedroom apartments are very nice with beautiful cabinets, counter tops, full size appliances as well as usable floor space. We really liked Watermark but for my Mom and her needs it just wasn't the right place. But who knows some day it may be a place I would look into for myself. Please reach our to Tracey or Sheri if you're looking for a very nice place for yourself or a loved one.

I moved my Mom to Independent living at the Watermark last summer after my Dad passed and we both couldn't be happier with our choice. The staff is kind, helpful and available 24/7. They have many activities daily such as a variety of exercise classes, art classes, organized games, live music, excursions….the list goes on…there's plenty to do and something for everyone. The complex is lovely, being an enclosed gated community which makes it easy and safe for walking and biking. We look forward to many happy years here.

Watermark at Broadway Cityview is truly a wonderful place to live. We have been here for 3 months and know we have definitely made the right choice. All the staff has been so friendly and helpful. The food is tasteful and delicious. The Sunday brunches far exceed our expectations. We especially thank Chef Paul and server David for making our anniversary dinner very special. Our apartment is spacious and we are impressed with the brightness and overall cleanliness of the whole complex. We love the variety of activities, especially the bi-weekly happy hours where they bring in various musical talent. The Watermark has generously welcomed our business development group, "Good Morning, Benbrook!" to meet in one of their spacious event areas. After touring the facility, meeting with many of the staff, and seeing the variety of amenities they provide, I would recommend anyone looking for a senior community to strongly consider the Watermark! Great people, great space, and from what I have observed, a great community of seniors who enjoy it together.

Beyond a comfortable, well-arranged floor plan and a host of modern amenities, my home at Watermark Retirement Community sparkles like new thanks to housekeeper Lisa's weekly spic 'n cleaning. She leaves the place immaculate from shiny floors to sparkling mirrors to fresh sheets. The whole place even smells clean after her magic touch week in and week out. Cheers x 3 for Lisa!! !

My lengthy stay requiring rehabilitation and skilled nursing , was made pleasant and much easier thanks to a wonderful staff who made me feel like I was the only one there. Everything was accomplished so thoroughly , from PT to OT and Skilled Nursing that i was always so thankful for such a high level of quality , cleanliness and compassion. The meals were excellent with a vast variety and tremendous taste. I met the chef frequently and always complimented his efforts. Meals were always prepared at Watermark and were fresh and very tasty. I have dined in many expensive restaurants and would say the meals at Watermark were comparable if not better. Being at the Watermark truly helped me heal and overcome the bad experience of breaking my leg and requiring over a hundred staples and 5 incisions. Thank you very much, Lillie

I'm so grateful for the Care and kindness I received during my Rehab. The Nurses, Techs, Therapists, Case Workers and the Staff were professional and Caring to all my needs. Very nice and Clean facility. Food was surprisingly good.

This is the worst place to stay! I was sent from the hospital to rehab. The nurses are rude, unfriendly and have no bedside manners. They continuously gave me the wrong medicines 4 out of the 5 times they administered them to me. Most of the [inappropriate language removed] staff have no idea what they're doing, especially [name removed] on the 2nd floor . The only friendly people were the PT doctors. The food is TERRIBLE. After a 6 night stay I checked myself out and had my friend drive me to the ER, that was the only time they showed concern and said we can call an ambulance this was after they saw my friend picking me up. I even had to call the administrator to complain, but to no avail. Waiting on his return call...DO NOT take your loved one to this place!

I would not recommend unless you can spend a lot of time there with your loved one. They hardly ever check on anyone, the food is awful and only a few people there seem to know what they are actually doing. There were some bright lights though...there are a few people that were very kind to my mother when they did interact with her. Betty, Sherry D., Anthony (Tony), Sonja, Richard and Sonny (at night) and the OT/PT girls, Holly and Danielle were awesome (and the reason I left her at this facility). I was the only one bathing her, changing her sheets, making sure that she stayed clean, cleaning her room and making sure that she was eating. So, if you don't intend on being there with your loved one then I do NOT recommend.

Miss Olga Pacheco was one of the best experiences with gentle accuracy professionalism provided very efficient, very effective. Highly in tuned for the particular need loves assisting the ones in great need. The good Lord truly impressed me with sweetness of who Miss Olga is of pure heart great working performance that this wonderful place need more of. Place and patient is clean I am thankful so that it made my part of care be highly professional and loving at the same time, that patient deserves;)

My mom was at Watermark for rehab. While she was there, I looked at several assisted living rooms. Cathy Porter helped me thru all the details, considerations, availability etc. She was extremely helpful, even met my mom. She is very knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with senior living. I highly recommend her.

My mom was recently at Watermark for rehab. While she was there, I asked to view their assisted living rooms available, in case we needed to move her. Cathy Porter showed me a several rooms. She is so personable and knowledgeable of the facility and knowing what kind of needs may come up. She was a delightful person, and a pleasure to meet and deal with. She really puts the customer needs first, which made it a pleasant experience. I highly recommend her.

Steve Waters is the best best administrator who has come to The Watermark at Broadway Cityview. His faculty and staff are very caring and compassionate. My relative has been there for over 20 days and is very satisfied the the services. The facility is very clean, excellent therapy sessions and the food is delicious. As a patient at the Skilled Nursing Facility, the Nursing Staff were either incompetent or malicious. After 7 days my routine meds were not given at all or given in the wrong dosage. Equally appalling, they tried to prescribe a new medicine that was contraindicated. The Physical Therapist & Occupational Therapist were quite good.

This facility has gone DOWNHILL since being bought out by Watermark. They let go of the administrator and MANY of the Brookdale employees have left. The food is TERRIBLE and had been going down BEFORE Covid. My mom LOVED all of her friends there, but they have left or are on their way OUT. I moved my mom out of this facility a year ago into a townhouse and she is thriving. I feel so sorry for all of the elderly residents who are unable to move. PLEASE, do NOT put your LOVED ONE here and expect them to eat well, have activities or thrive. Such an expensive place for what you get.

This facility just fired their Executive Director who was hired in March who used a false name to get executive job. She also was just sentenced probation for impersonating a police officer. There is a Ft Worth Star article about it on June 24th. It's worth a read before making the decision if you want to live there or if you want your parents living there.

My biggest concern about the nursing/rehab facility is that they have not been able to administer important medicines to my mom regularly, as prescribed and have sometimes missed them completely! I don't know if the nurse is spread too thin or is not competent or not caring, but even when she tried to call for help to get her meds, she was ignored. If they are not going to allow you to administer your own medications, then they need to do a good job with that to avoid unnecessary issues when not taken correctly. She is happy with the PT and it seems the help with a shower and clean bed linens was good. Food meh.

I have lived at Brookdale Broadway Cityview for over 7 years. All the employees are people-oriented, friendly, know their business, and are eager to make my life comfortable and enjoyable. The facility is terrific! Water aerobics, Zumba, Friday afternoon happy hour with dancing, out-to-dinner dates, and lots of special programs keep us busy and provide lots of social enteraction. You can live in an apartment or a villa and redo it to suit your own preference. We have made lots of friends and wouldnt consider living anywhere else!

Mom has lived in independent living a few years. Nice separate condo-like feeling w own garage & laundry for elderly loved one. Weekly Housekeeping included. Great positive community of neighbors. Cafeteria food was good before Covid hit, then everyone had to have meals in their own place-no social gatherings. Sad for everyone.Thankfully, brookdale (now called watermark had few Covid cases) Big shout out to Personalized Living services CRYSTAL TACHELL helped us ALOT to organize medication issues for mom. U can pay extra for dog walking, nursing services, ect...highly recommend the extra money is worth ur peace of mind.

Lived in Assisted Living for two years and am very happy with the care and service Ive received from the employees, the food in the dining room and the housekeeping and maintenance. It is very pleasing to have entertainment weekly and have opportunities to exercise and enjoy games daily.

Brookdale Broadway is an excellent community for those individuals looking to have all care needs in one location. The independent living section for active retired folks offers lots of activities and opportunity to be as social or private bas you choose. When the time comes that you need Assisted living its only a short move from one side of the property to another. Here you have people around the clock available at the pull of a cord. And when you need round the clock nursing care. They have skilled nursing and long term care on property. People seem happy to work here and you can see that they want to be here. And the popcorn and cookies they offer at the entrance help too!

I was here from middle of September until December 8, 2018. On the whole, I received very good care. I really want to point out Sabrina. She was so hard working and so nice. She bent over backwards to take care of my needs. I love her. The nurse, David, also worked hard to make my stay easier. If I needed surgical rehab again, this would be the place.

My mother was there after a pacemaker being installed. Overall care I would rate at about a B-; many of staff have no sympathy for the patient. Response to call button very poor. Therapy I would rate at A. . Nurse aids rate at about a D. Nurses seemed very overworked. Staff under staffed. Floor 3was horrible. Floor 2 better. Seems they place those with short term rehab needs with long term nursing care patients and result is care is sub par. Seems Brookdale is deteriorating overall. Sad.

I arrived at Brookdale in June of 2016. As many of its residents I had left my own home. This was my first experience of living in a community setting, since going away to college at Purdue in the 50s! The move was a transition to be sure, moving itself a challenge even with the help of family and friends--many changes and challenges and new things to learn. Yet, from the first visit to Brookdale and tour of the facility (note: Janet Lawson drives a mean golf cart!) I found the staff to be warm, friendly and truly helpful. My neighbors and new friends were welcoming. Though not by nature a gregarious person, I am able to be as to myself or as sociable as I like. At Brookdale I feel at home -- free to entertain friends and family and to get on with life.!
