I'm so happy that my mom is a resident at Brookdale Oak Hollow. When we knew as a family that this was the next step for our mother's care, we were lost on how to go about starting the process. I walked in and met with Sara. She was very caring and listened to all my concerns with this level of care and the unknown. In the last 5 months that my mother as been there, mom has settled in and enjoys all the staff. All the staff are loving and caring to the residents and residents family. This is the reason Brookdale Oak Hollow was voted the #1 Dementia Care for 2022. They definitely have my vote.

My Father-in-law has dementia and lives with us at home. We were referred to Brookdale Oak Hollow by Senior Living Specialists for respite care and fell in love with the place. The staff is outstanding and truly cares about their residents.

I had to make the hard decision to place my Mother in memory care this past June. With all my searches and visits I never felt good about leaving my Mother in their care. Then I walked into Brookdale Oak Hallow and all my apprehensions were put to rest. Stephanie Mask took me on a tour and explained everything and made sure I was well informed. The place is so clean and felt like home. Without Stephanie’s excellent leadership it would be just another run of the mill facility.

Brookdale Oak Hollow is an exceptional loving dementia community. Placing a loved one into a dementia community facility your loved ones needs/deserves is not easy, but Brookdale Oak Hollow helped me place a friend of mine (for 40 years) into the dementia community (broke my heart), because I could no longer give her the 24/7 care she needed/deserved. Placing a loved one into a facility is as hard on the people placing them as it is for the loved one. From the time we was looking for a dementia community to place my friend into, from the tour of the facility, to all the paperwork and the smooth transition for my friend from my home into Brookdale Oak Hollow. The family couldn't ask for a better transition (for both the family and the loved one). I LOVE how Brookdale keeps the family informed from how the loved ones day is to activities they are doing. The facility is very clean (which I greatly appreciate). There are two beautiful outside areas with tables and chairs (we go outside and do puzzles and fresh air). There are other rooms also available, a room for family to go and take dinner for my the loved one and enjoy family time. Staff is full of love and respect for each resident. My friend is doing very well ever since I placed her at Brookdale Oak Hollow and I know it has a lot to do with the staffs interaction with her and it's just not with my friend, it's with all the residents at Brookdale Oak Hollow, you can see all the love just walking through the doors at Brookdale Oak Hollow.

Oak Hollow surrounds my Mother with a family atmosphere. My Mother requires services that an Assisted Living facility couldnt accommodate so I moved her to Brookdale Oak Hollow, which was at the onset of the Covid19 pandemic. Since my Mother was new to Oak Hollow, she was quarantined in her apartment for fourteen days to ensure safety for her-residents-staff. During these fourteen days I became acquainted with the administrative, physician and care teams (all shifts). The facility is spotless, the dining area is huge and there are areas (inside and outside) for all types of activities. I witnessed first hand the daily routine, the attention to safe practices and the exceptional quality of care-compassion given to my Mother. For me, that solidified I had made the right choice.

I have had my mom here at Brookdale Oak Hollow for about a year now. She has previously resided in 3 other Brookdale Facilities. I find Brookdale employees kind and caring. I absolutely love this location, The food, the atmosphere and most of all, the way they care for my mom. I KNOW my mom is in good hands and for that I thank Brookdale Oak Hollow from the bottom of my heart.

I wish I had found this place while my grandfather was still alive. I have never seen a more caring and loving staff. The community is always clean and smells great; like citrus. There are always cookies and a coffee- cocoa bar fully stocked in the front lobby if you have to wait.

I came to check this place out on a weekend unannounced and was very happy with the experience there. The front lobby was decorated so nicely for the holidays it felt like I was walking into someones living room not a commercial building and the full coffee bar was an awesome surprise! The staff was super friendly and helpful, the place was spotless, the patients looked clean and happy and the smell of the dinner they were preparing was amazing! They even offered to feed us! This place is on the top of our list out of many in the area.

What a refreshingly wonderful experience this was. I went to on a tour Oak Hollow Brookdale for my father. I wanted a place close to home where I could go and visit him. Terri walked me around and took the time to point out the things that were important to my fathers needs. The residents look happy whenever Im there as do the families when I see them visiting. Its a definitely wonderful place for your loved ones.

I LOVE this facility and I love our mission! This place puts the CARE in healthcare. The relationships I have built with the residents, their families and my colleagues is second to none. I come in to work each day knowing Im going to make a difference by provide the best care that I can.While the building itself may not be as shiny and new as some in the area; it is clean, well maintained and constantly being updated to swrve the needs of our residents even better. But more importantly it is filled with more love and care then any other facility Ive visited or worked at in my over 15 years in the healthcare field. The staff here treat all of the residents like people not just patients. Your loved ones will truly have a family away from family in their new home.

My mother has lived at Brookdale Oak Hollow for about 18 months now and we have had an overall positive experience. I have found the staff and leadership to be caring and responsive. My mom has special needs (as do most of the residents) and the staff works very well with me to take care of her. I am lucky that I get to visit with my mom almost daily and stay on top of her care so that any concern is addressed quickly. Whenever something is needed or there is a concern, the management and employees work with me to correct any issue. Their Activities staff is top notch - keeping the residents entertained and engaged throughout the day and evening. The Nursing staff is very responsive to any concern and will contact the residents doctors to help get treatment if needed. This is the third facility my mother has been in over the last 9 years, so I do have some basis for comparison. I have always felt that the residents family and the facilitys staff must work together for the residents best interest. I find that this is easy to do at Brookdale Oak Hollow.

Its been 5 years since both my parents were at Oak Hollow; it was Emeritus then. I was just looking at pictures of them and their time there and smiling. Theresa and Mavis were meds nurses then, and Daddy knew he could call them if he felt he needed something. Victoria and others took great care of both my parents, all the way to hospice time. The place became like a second home to me as I visited them regularly and got to know the staff as if they were family. Im glad I put them there and that Oak Hollow allowed them to stay in the same room until the end.

This is a home for a loved one, not a facility. The care given by the nursing staff and administration is like they are caring for their OWN family. I recommend them to anyone looking for a placement for loved ones.

Staff and residents joke around with each other and try to take care of one another. Its so sweet when a staff member makes sure to comfort a resident when they are having a bad day and even vice versa! One resident offered to pray for staff member when she was upset and later the two were playing card games with a group of residents!

I have visited this facility several times. It is always clean and inviting and the staff is always friendly. The residents always seem happy and I see them doing different activities from tv watching to exercise.I would place my loved one here with little worry.
