I absolutely love this facility and my apartment. It is beautiful, clean and well managed. All of the staff are very kind, knowledgeable and always make sure your needs are met. Valencia Williams was the person who helped me with my paperwork to get into this apartment. She is the most patient, kind, and compassionate person. Good customer service has been lost today, but not with her. Any employer would be very lucky and blessed to have her. One thing that really shows the type of person she is… I came here to check out the apartment along with my daughter and grandson. There were some snacks on the table, my grandson wanted some but we told her he had peanut allergies so she went in the back and got something he cold have. When I came back weeks later alone, I asked if I could take something from the dish for my grandson. Valencia, said sure, he's got peanut allergies right, and once again she went and got something he could eat. I was absolutely floored!! How in the world could she have remembered that with as many people she deals with on a daily basis. I have physically only been here a week, but I recommend Villages at Fiskville apartments to anyone who is looking for a great place to live.

Edit 4/23 Wish the new management company would go back to closing the gate and wish the staff cared about the residents as much as the other company did. I will hope that they get the hang of working with people. 2/22/24. Thank goodness we have new management. The other residents continue to be great and thankfully new managers are cleaning up the place. Unfortunately some people have left and are continuing to leave due to the past managers. I have to admit that I was looking very hard for a new place as well and then I met Valencia and Lydia. I met Vel in the hallway speaking with some other people and have been impressed by her kindness and caring. She has been so compassionate with me, a disabled senior with two dogs. She has listened to ideas for improvement from residents but what is really great is her bubbly, friendly personality. She is the type of manager that will draw you in to the complex and then work to keep you. I feel like I live in a new place. Thanks Vel and Lydia. I feel that you will continue to improve this place like it used to be and better.

I have repeatedly requested that no one enter my unit if I'm not at home. Twice in the past week they've gone against my wishes. Makes me wonder why? No fire, no flood, no dang entry. Please stop. "Fixing blinds and tightening up a showerhead is no reason to violate my privacy 8n that way. Period

This apartment is not for the faint at heart..People that's here are dying to Move out..I moved here and 6 months later received water damage from the apartment above my unit..This happened in Oct..I did have rental insurance ..Thank God because I was in a hotel until Dec..in Jan which time I had to take another unit due to my insurance housing ran out in Dec at which time I had became homeless and had to go to Virginia to stay with my daughter until another unit was ready..the entry doors and elevator and entry Gate was broken for over 2 months at which time they installed a post where visitors have to scan to park and their Car's were still being towed after registering their cars There's no visitor passes for your out of town Guest ..the garbage room is always locked and you have to leave your trash at the door of the garbage room..I've had them enter my apartment without notice over and over again without notifying me and on more that two occasions I was out of town and watched them enter my apartment from my door bell camera..on one of the unlawful entries it was 9 o'clock at night..It's not what it was when I first Moved here in April 2022..People are moving out left and right and those that haven't moved are just waiting for their leases to be up

I've been at VoF almost 6 months . I thoroughly enjoy living here thus far. It is a diverse and friendly community and very pet friendly . There have been a few miscommunications with office staff as they navigate post-pandemic operations and policy changes , it can get confusing . But always try and be friendly and helpful. I look forward to increased opportunities to enjoy the many amenities that they are equipped to offer, specifically adding back the computers/Wifi access in the resident center and pray that the beautiful giant screen TV system is reconnected and working for football season!! Go Cowboys ! The accommodations are lovely and well appointed in the common areas and the apartments are spacious. Me and my pup are happy to call this home .

My Father moved in here over a year ago and it had been nothing short of Exceptional, in the every department from the application intake to the maintenance request and everything in between. The common areas and all the events are top notch and really good for those retired and need/want something to do and someone up talk to. Choosing to live here was a really good decision.

I have been here for almost two years. I love the apartment, it's so spacious and suits my needs perfectly. I will admit a year ago I was very worried with the management staff, doors broken, gate not working. But, the management we have now and the maintenance staff have worked so hard in making things right, gate now working, all doors are locked, trash rooms are so cleaned. They listen to our needs.

I moved in to the Villages at Fiskville around June 1, 2019. I live here with my cat Mace. The staff is courteous responds quickly to any issues that arise. They also listen to our suggestions, such as setting up weekly shopping trips. HEB one week Walmart, the next. Since The Villages is designed for people over 55, we have elevators, an excellent pool, a library, exercise room free computers wifi in the Computer lab.At least 1-2 the residents still work some activities take place after 5 or 6 PM. Ive made several new friends here look forward to making more. This is the nicest apartment Ive lived in over the past 11 years in Austin. If you decide to move here, tell them Carole sent you!

Ive been a resident a short period of time. During this time I feel like Im living in a high class hotel. Not just a 5 star, I gave more stars. At other times it feels like a mansion. strolling down the indoor corridors if you run into a neighbor there are nice area to sit and chat. Like wingback chairs with a table in case your having coffee together or just catching up or building friendships. Or there are cushioned benches. Youre not passing through the elements of being outside, you are indoors and comfy. The community room very pleasant. Nice big fire place huge big screen TV over it in a setting of a family room sofa and again wingback chairs, small tables, also a full kitchen benhind with kitchen tables. If you ever wanted to live in a big home; this is the place without stairs. Just use elevators for all floors. I love it here. My unit is open space which I find you can take your old things and create a new look. Most importantly the Staff are good People, also smilely and friendly.
