My wife was cared for in the memory care unit for the past two years. The staff is wonderful beyond words. They are truly a tree full of angels. The lead members (nursing and care) are long time employees as are most of the staff. This conveys the quality of the facility and the leadership team. They truly care for the residents and their families. Choosing to put my wife in a memory care facility was one of the most difficult decisions ever. Buckner quickly dispelled and concerns I had. It turned out to be a great decision.

Staff very good, dinning facility is adequate, never know what you are going to get when ordering, but pretty good. Water pressure and hot water issues never seem to be constant. Been without water Two Days makes it difficult.

My husband and I have lived at Buckner Villas for 5 years. We selected this excellent home for our later years because it was welcoming and vibrant. We have never regretted our decision to join what is indeed our family at Greenridge. Staff and residents live in an atmosphere of love, with plenty of opportunities to expand our interests and to celebrate our later years together. Our days are full, our stomachs are full, and our hearts are full living in this truly special location!

I am a 5-year resident of Green Ridge Independent Living facility at Buckner Villas in Austin, Texas. I could not have found a better place to live. A beautiful and spacious apartment, a friendly and most efficient staff, excellent dining facilities, quality food, efficient administration, a staff that works overtime to provide wellness services and most interesting activities. I can recommend Buckner Villas and its program without any reservations.

My parents moved into the Greenridge Independent Living building at Buckner Villas over 8 yrs ago in their mid-80s. Mom passed away 6 years ago, and Dad passed just 2 months ago. They selected Buckner and it was everything they wanted. They made new friends, played bridge, participated in the entertainment/educational programming and gym. Dad was in a weekly Spanish book club up until his last month. The staff is outstanding, and they truly care about their residents. Kind, skilled, and professional. Sheila at the front desk, Rick in maintenance, Juana in the dining room, Doyle and Paul in administration - I could name many more! Their faith-based values are lived out. Their support (and in the last year of Dad's life, the services of private home-care agency Synergy Round Rock) enabled each of my parents to stay in Independent Living as they wanted throughout their lives. Synergy's business is focused on Buckner and has very good people, too. There is real community at Buckner. Our family was also fully welcomed, and we valued our relationships with staff and residents, too. My parents had a spacious 2-bedroom apt. Bistro food and hours are a little sparse in my opinion, but my folks were OK with it. Main dining room food is very good and plentiful. Common areas are attractive and comfortable. The outdoor patio and large, quiet, open, treed lawn with walking path are a differentiator for Buckner; the patio and lawn are located in the center of the campus, not visible from the street. Kudos and blessings to Buckner on behalf of our whole family.

Quite impressed with Buckner Villas while visiting friends and family who have lived there. They loved their time at Buckner, using the pool or attending Bible study. When Jane B. passed away, Buckner allowed us to host a memorial for her in one of their largest rooms. About 80 residents attended the memorial. It was a beautiful celebration of her life. I am now researching places for my parents to move and Buckner is at the top of that list!

My parents were in Independent living for 3+ years and then in Assisted Living for another year at Buckner and it truly was one of the best decisions our family ever made. Friendly competent staff, really good food and fun activities really helped them thrive! It has been about 8 years ago and it amazes me that many of the staff are still there including Sheila at the front desk and Paul Clark doing the marketing. Thank you Buckner Villas!!

This is such a wonderful place to live! Everyone,the staff, the residents, and the visitors are all super friendly and welcoming. It's like "Cheers" where everyone knows your name. My husband and I moved here two and a half years aago and never once have I regretted it.

My in-laws recently moved from San Antonio to Buckner Villas in Austin. My wife and I did research on several senior living facilities and guided them to the ones we felt were best. They chose Buckner and seem to be very pleased with their decision. We frequently visit and the staff members at Buckner are always very friendly and accommodating, especially Paul Clark who first showed us around the facility. He is a long time staff member and well liked. It is a beautiful facility and well designed. It is always a pleasure to visit the folks there.

As a medical social worker I recommend Buckner Villas. The staff is extremely conscientious and consistently have provided wonderful care to patients I have referred there over the last 15 years. Also, the fact that they have a continuum of care all on one campus is such a bonus for an aging individual and their family!

It's a good place with friendly staff and nice facilities. They have independent living as well as other types of care. The on-site pool and frequent movie projections are popular.

We moved our 83 year old father with Parkinson's here 2 weeks ago and he is extremely happy. Both my sister and I are very pleased with the level of service and care that the staff are providing him. He is sometimes a bit ornery due to his illness, but the Skilled Nursing folks are always patient and kind to him. And he loves the food there!
