UPDATE- Since I wrote the original review, my mother decided that during respite, she enjoyed being at Tech Ridge so much, she wanted to move in. The staff here are absolutely amazing. Communication is spot on and timely and the activities provided have allowed my mother to really enjoy life again. THANK YOU Tech Ridge, you are all amazing!!! I have toured multiple facilities for my mother for much needed respite care. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tech Ridge Oaks! The facility is clean, bright and well taken care of. Staff are very dedicated to ensuring that all of my mothers needs are met and working with us to make everything go smoothly for my mother's stay. Thank you Sherrean for all of you help and assistance to make sure my mother has all she needs with her stay at Tech Ridge Oaks! Peace of mind makes all the difference!

Had a great visit at Tech Ridge for my mother. Allison Johnson was super attentive and helpful. Really appreciated the tour and her kindness at this difficult time. The apartments were clean and comfortable and I liked all the activities they offer. Doesn’t have that nursing home vibe at all, more like a community.

I had the opportunity to visit the facility recently for a fundraising event and was very impressed overall. Not only is the facility clean and welcoming, the staff was very kind and took time to engage with residents. Each resident I spoke with was very complementary of staff and seemed to be enjoying the time they were spending with one another.

As a hospice social worker, I love coming to Tech Ridge Oaks because the care they offer each resident can be felt in a physical space that is clean and meticulously well-maintained. The staff interactions are consistently positive and supportive. I would highly recommend Tech Ridge Oaks to anyone who wants a loving community to surround you or your loved ones.

My father has lived at Tech Ridge Oaks for two years. He has thrived since moving there. He had to spend time in Skilled Nursing last year, and it only made it more clear how well he did at Tech Ridge. Like all the facilities I have seen, they are understaffed. Sometimes it takes a while to get things done. You have to be persistent and stay on top of things. Sometimes the clothes get mixed up, and someone else is wearing his things. He has things go missing, but they usually show up. The Staff care. My dad, and the others, are cared for. I trust Tech Ridge Oaks with my father. I don't even trust him with his own family. Tech Ridge Oaks is his family now. He's home.

Yesterday my son and I went for a trick or treating event they were having. It was such a clean place, everything looked so nice and the rooms were nice. Residents were happy. We recently moved our father to Tech Ridge Oaks and had to move him quickly. We met with Alex and he walked us through the process and responded to all our questions and texts promptly and with great care. He even showed up on moving day which was Saturday to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff is friendly and caring. Our father is happy.

Most of the staff there are extremely nice and caring, however they are grossly undermanned, leaving residents that need assistance without the care they are paying for. My mother’s health declined rapidly after moving there. Her apartment was neglected, laundry left in piles instead of being put away. Call button left unanswered for long periods of time. Would not recommend.

I recently had to bring my mother to Texas and I did my research and found out that Tech Ridge Oaks is one of the best if not the best assisted living facility in the Austin Texas area. To date my experience working with the administration, the staff, the medical professionals has been outstanding. They truly care. I cannot be more pleased with this decision for my mothers care. I highly recommend Tech Ridge to anyone who is in need of elder care.

Tech Ridge Assisted Living has been wonderful! I help seniors downsize and move into senior communities. I've seen quite a few, and Tech Ridge is truly top notch. I was delighted to find Tech Ridge Oaks! After searching for nearly 2 months in the states of Missouri and Texas, I am happy that I chose them. Alex has been instrumental in my decision, since I live out of town and I’m searching for a new home for my brother, he spent almost an hour on a walk-through with me, and it gave me great peace of mind. Professional, courteous, factual, and eager to answer all questions It goes a long way. The place looks clean and inviting, the staff seem friendly, and the room options are larger and more diverse than any other place I looked. My brother has poor memory, and Tech Ridge Oaks has more systems in place than just a pendant button to push, so that opens more choices for placement. The cost is more reasonable and easier to understand than other places of the same caliber also. They go a long way to make what’s already a hard decision a bit easier. I anticipate that my brother, once settled, will be respected and cared for and given plenty of opportunities to engage.

Navigating assisted living facilities can be challenging. It seems that so many are primarily concerned with making money rather than providing respectful care to their tenants. Tech Ridge is our third facility in less than three years. The difference is real! On day one, our loved one was greeted by all the staff members and literally had a red carpet entry to the facility. The caregivers are held to high standards. The facility is cleaned thoroughly daily. The care provided is not based on "black and white" standards but by using common sense and finding ways to help their tenants. Great food, great physical therapy, and great care by employees that are pleasant, helpful and set on honoring your ageing loved one. Great teams are difficult to build and this industry is no different. However, building teams requires strong but respectful leadership. Tech Ridge Oaks has an executive director that is dedicated to providing a safe, clean and caring environment. Through her leadership, her team responds to your loved one's needs in an appropriate timeframe and with compassion and common sense. For the first time in three years, our loved one feels wanted, respected, safe and finally at home. Tech Ridge has been the answer to our prayers. I would urge you to give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Tech Ride Oaks is one of my favorite communities to refer my clients to for Assisted Living and Memory Care. The executive team and caregivers are very loving and caring. I think this place is a great residence to place your loved one . It seems they offer reserved dinners on select days with Fellow neighbors and have a nice band to enjoy dinner and family with. The chef seems very dedicated and the atmosphere is great ‘. What a joy to know this location and I look forward to a tour.

They have great food with many menu options to choose from, and they have an amazing wellness team! Tech Ridge Oaks has a extremely wonderful staff. My mom was extremely resistant to an assisted living facility. She has expressed how caring and friendly everyone is. The food is definitely good, my father ran a restaurant for 25 years and I know good food. It is a well lit clean facility! I am thankful to have found this facility.

I give 2 stars rating overall. The facility is always clean and bright and the med techs/nurse are great. The downsize is they do not hire experienced staff. My mother-in-law has been a resident since September and has complained about the food every week and nothing has changed. We have notified the Executive Director (Valerie) but the issues for food preparations have remained the same. From my own experience the Christmas dinner was less than average at best. (Dry ham, brussel sprouts and potatoes) Salads listed on the weekly menu are usually not available, cold cuts/sandwiches are way too frequent for both lunch and dinner. Update your menus breakfast should include veggie omelets, quiche, oatmeal with fresh blueberries, pecans, yogurt with nuts and granola (example) fresh grilled/baked fish and less ham for dinner. The amount of money we pay for a room is outrageous and then to have cafeteria food prepared for our loved ones is totally unacceptable. My mother-in-law deserves premium care and a healthy delicious diet. I would encourage anyone considering this facility to look elsewhere until some of these issues are addressed.

It started out a successful blessing to a horrendous nightmare. When Dad started his transformation it was beautiful. The facility was more than half full capacity. Today it is a fifth capacity full due to some moved on to heaven or moved. When the personnel changed so did the environment of the facility. There was a lack of activities and Dad's room became infested with bedbugs due to a mattress set placed in his room. The most painful experience was as we were clearing out Dad's room, all of his photos of his loved ones were infested, his late wife, siblings, parents and grandparents. It was very heart breaking. If you are planning to drop off your loved ones, I do not recommend this facility.

My visit to this facility was nothing short of awesome. The staff is very friendly and helpful and their Community Relations Director is A-mazing! She appears to be extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her job and this profession. They have made it very easy to make a decision on care and residency for my loved one. Thank you!

My folks have been residents for 2 years. The facility is new, sparkling clean, and very welcoming. Pre-Covid, they provided a wide variety of activities and entertainment. During the past year, Tech Ridge Oaks staff have done a great job of keeping residents safe and healthy. The on-site director communicates with families and residents via email in a timely manner. The health care staff does a great job of letting family members know of any concerns. We are all looking forward to getting past the Covid restrictions so our folks can once again enjoy the great social calendar and group dining that Tech Ridge Oaks provides.

This is actually Terrell O'Neill! My mother was at another assisted living facility but we moved her here when it opened. The difference between the two were like night and day. I felt totally comfortable with my mother residing here. Melissa, Robyn, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond the kindness and care that they gave my mother and our family! The main goal in this facility seemed to be care for the residents and financial concerns seemed to be secondary. At the end of life, my mother was provided extra care that would have required additional costs at the previous facility. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is clean, the food is great, and most of all the staff is like family! If you have several choices ,look at this one first!

Would give 10 stars if it was an option!!! My sister and I just moved my mother into this facility and already an enormous weight has been lifted off our shoulders! Our mother is young with the rare type of dementia and my sister and I are all she has. Being a caretaker is the most difficult struggle we’ve ever been through, and we needed help. The staff are all excellent!!! All so caring and seem to love what they do! Already sending us photos of Mom participating (a rare phenomenon lately), and letting us know how she’s been doing on the regular. I couldn’t ask for a better facility and better people to be caring for one of the few people I have left in my life! Forever greatful
