It has been a long road with my mother .. had to relocate her from Pinnacle to Alexander Guest House due to her increased need for memory care and advancing dementia .. since this move I have seen some very tender and loving moments from the staff to my mother and even to other guests staying there .. Change is always very hard on dementia patients but this move was about as smooth as possible and my Mother has settled nicely in.. it warms my heart to see so much love, care and compassion from the staff there to all their guests .. Alexander Guest House has been a wonderful experience and Im thankful every day for the awesome care they give my mother …

My Mother was at Alexander Guest House and was the happiest I have seen her in years. She loved all the staff there and said they treated her like family. They are very professional, loving and supportive to the residents along with offering support to, and assistance, in the care of their family member that was there. It has been a very difficult year for all and Alexander Staff stepped up. Mom made many new friends with the residents and staff opening up a whole new world of interests to her. My husband and I have discussed if the need ever presented itself, to he or I, that we would definitely want to have the option of staying there.Thank You,Jean L.

We traveled up to visit with my grandparents. My grandfather asked for us to join him & set up a tour with the local Assisted Living Homes. We toured Alexander Guest House and was impressed with how they remodeled it into an assisted living. My grandfather enjoyed seeing the old photos and remembers coming to events held in the Ball Room. He is looking to make a change in the future for both of them and with Alexander offering assisted living and memory care, it would allow him to be close to my grandmother. They offered the basic furniture for us to use with no extra cost but he will prefer to bring his antiques from home that they dearly love. With the staff being so friendly and all the factors that we need, so far, this is our number 1 choice at this time.

The assisted living facility is amazing, everyone is treated so well and maintain they are served 3 full meals a day, and they have the options to have their own snacks and their own food in their rooms. Everyone there is really friendly, the place is tidy and clean housekeeping does a really good job keeping it smelling nice. They have activities with the residents and music all sorts of daily activities to keep them busy and are enjoyable. Residents go to the salon every week to get there hair and beauty done. Staff do okay at working as a team to make sure everyone is happy and took care of to the best of their abilities. I wouldnt recommend any other assisted living facility for your person other than Alexander Guest House, in my experience was one of the best places Ive been to.

What an amazing unique way to repurpose a building. Along with the beautiful building, the community provides wonderful care, and amazing activity program, and hires staff that have the love and compassion to provide the best care offered for your loved one.

My husband spent his last 3 months in the Guest House memory care unit. He was very well cared for and was more mentally at peace than he had been the previous 9 months at another Alzheimer's care facility with too many patients. The Guest House is small and allows the caring staff to give individual attention. Thanks to all of you!

Mom moving to Alexander Guest House has been such a positive experience for both of us. She loves it; she has become more energized because she enjoys the wide variety of activities- scenic rides, crafts, bingo, time on the putting green, musical guests, exercise, etc. I've found all of the staff to be caring, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere in general is warm , upbeat, and energized. Residents sit on the porch, at numerous tables throughout the building that are set up with jigsaw puzzles, and at various homelike seating areas. Meals are delicious and dining service is excellent. For me, having Mom checked on throughout the day and night in addition to the meals and activities gives me peace of mind. Anne Worthington

The move to Alexander Guest House has been wonderful for Mom and for me. There is a wide variety of activities: crafts, golf on the putting green, scenic rides, musical guests, bingo, exercise, and special events. In addition, there is a pleasant, friendly atmosphere with numerous conversational seating areas tables with jigsaw puzzles throughout the building. The food is excellent and is served so nicely. And I cant say enough good things about the staff and the care that they provide.

My family is having a great experience at the Alexander. The staff are caring, well trained and have embraced my mother with tenderness. The award-winning building is beautiful, clean and comfortable, but best of all, Mom proudly calls it home.
