This review won't matter in a few months after I post this due to them selling, but here we go. The facility was great. The residents were great aside from one or two trouble people who needed to be moved to memory. I respect the people for renovating this old school and saving it's legacy, but now they're turning it into a DRUG REHAB FACILITY next door to an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. Who thought this was a good idea!?

I was once a resident at South High and they treated me terribly They separated me from a female resident. They laid hands on me and when I removed them, they called the cops. Nothing came of that.

When Mom checked into her new home, multiple staff members came to greet her and her family and offer assistance helping her check in. The staff welcomed her with a touching ribbon cutting ceremony. Anytime I needed to communicate with staff regarding Moms care, my emails and calls were promptly returned. I sleep easy at night knowing Mom is under their care. The staff believes in a team work approach to patient care. This facility has been a God send...South High has truly redefined the idea of assisted living...

South High not only is the most beautiful community in the Knoxville area, but also has the most beautiful people that work here. They have a deep passion for what they do. My mother has been with South High since they opened . My mom has thrived here, because they have excellent, trained staff. The facility is clean & they always keep me updated. They have taken such good care of my mom & they treat her like family. After having my mom in two different memory care facilities prior to this, I highly recommend South High. They are different than other assisted living, memory care facilities, because they allow the residents to feel at home. This is how assisted living and memory care should be.
