When researching facilities for my parents next chapter in life Brookdale Rock Springs was head and shoulders above the rest of the facilities we looked at, in the entire TriCities area! The staff, from the Executive Director down to the everyday care staff were so very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful in meeting us. One of the Administration Staff even told us that regardless of if we ended up choosing Brookdale Rock Springs or not, she was there to help us in making the best decision for our family!

When walked in to this facility we instantly recognized how friendly and caring the staff was. Just what we were looking for. Now that we have decided to move our parents in is when we really saw how they were with residents and family members. They are great, friendly with a family atmosphere. What a great facility.

Brookdale Rock Springs has been the answer to our prayers for my mother. Prior to being widowed, we were looking for assisted living for both her and my father but once my father passed, it was needed even more urgently for her. She moved in the midst of Covid, but even with restrictions in place, the staff made the very best of the situation and made sure residents were engaged with activities from their rooms while following Covid protocol to keep them safe and healthy. Now that restrictions have eased, there's plenty of activities and social engagements and there's not a day goes by that my mother doesn't thank me for moving her to their facility. She was very independent and would not even discuss assisted living with us for a couple of years prior to moving and we knew the adjustment would not be easy for her coupled with the loss of my father after 57 years of marriage. However, the staff at Brookdale Rock Springs has always gone above and beyond to give both her and her little dog the best of care and the extra attention needed after losing my father and during the process of planning his memorial. Every time I visit, the grounds are beautifully manicured, and the facility is always super clean and smells fresh which was a big selling point when I was visiting facilities. I visited others that smelled "stale" and like a hospital. When I first stepped into Brookdale Rock Springs, it felt like home and my mother feels the same way which has made the adjustment much easier than we ever imagined. Their communications with me regarding my mother and the tons of questions I had in the beginning have always been addressed both promptly and courteously putting my mind at ease. Everyone there is wonderful and I will be forever grateful to Brookdale Rock Springs for the level of care, happiness, and peace of mind they're providing for my mother and our family.

Brookdale Rock Springs has been an answered prayer for my family. We had been discussing assisted living for both of my parents for a couple of years, but when my father passed away in November, we knew it was even more urgent to get my mother into an assisted living facility. I visited several in the area and Brookdale Rock Springs was, by far, our choice due to the welcoming atmosphere and staff, beautifully manicured grounds, and the super clean appearance and smell of the facility when you entered. Some facilities smelled stale or like a hospital, so this was a big selling point. My mother has always been very independent so making this transition along with becoming a widow after 57 years of marriage was very difficult for her. The staff at Brookdale Rock Springs goes above and beyond to make her feel welcome and provide the very best of care for her both on a daily basis and through the bereavement process. She thanks me daily for moving her there and has adopted Brookdale staff and other residents as family for herself and her little dog, Dusty. Staff has been excellent with updates and communications as well as providing prompt and courteous responses with the tons of questions and requests I had for several weeks. My mother has quickly made Brookdale Rock Springs her new home and I will be forever grateful for her excellent level of care along with the happiness and peace of mind they provide for both her and our family.

Brookdale at Rock Springs is a beautiful location with gorgeous views. Joanne Lane makes sure your loved one has the best caregivers and stays on top of any situation. She is a great part of management. If I contact her about any medical problem or any situation, she immediately takes action and I promise she will solve it. Jill Rust- Sales and Sandra Spears in management are also excellent to work with. These three ladies will bend over backwards to help you and meet every need. We have never had any problems with the caregivers for our loved one. They show love and compassion by going out of their way for their residents and I love them for this. My niece has worked there almost 3 years. She loves it and loves the residents and faculty. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs care with their loved ones. Its a very nice place and they take really good care of the residents. They have lots of activites to keep them happy. Its neat and clean. And the staff really care about their patients, which is really important.

I'm a baby boomer, and the youngest resident here, but hope to live long enough to be the oldest resident. My husband and I love it here! This community is small enough for the staff, and most of the residents, to know everyone. The staff is so caring; everyone goes out of his/her way to ensure residents' needs are met and continually ask for suggestions about how to make things better. All levels of staff are well-trained and cheerful. Middlewoods is truly a full service residency: the food is prepared by an excellent chef and is comparable to good home cooking or some of my favorite restaurants; housekeeping (including laundry and changing of linens) is provided weekly; transportation to shops and banks is offered; exercise and activities are so diverse and plentiful they make my head spin; TV is available for an unbelievably low rate, but I have yet to hook mine up since I use their free wi-fi with my iPad/computer for entertainment (besides, large screen televisions are located in several of the many common rooms and are almost always available). I could go on and on the in-house medical services, the library, the beautiful grounds I have yet to find anything lacking. Moreover, maintenance has customized my apartment so my husband and I can live a full and comfortable life. They even are modifying the grounds so my husband can plant a "serious" vegetable garden. Best of all, I feel confident that I can live safely and fully, even if I am on my own...I have secondary progressive MS and have serious physical challenges; my husband is signicantly older but in great shape and hopes to visit some friends in Europe before it's too late. Long story short, I couldn't feel happier about selecting Middlewoods as the place to spend the rest of my life.

Lovely facility with beautiful grounds and plenty of places to sit outside. Very nice staff who seem to genuinely care about the residents. Lots of activities for those who care to participate. Nice common areas that provide areas for socializing so that residents can spend time outside their apartments if they care to. Suzy is a great guide to the whole process!

I have enjoyed my visits to Brookdale Rock Springs. The staff is always attentive and the meals served were very good. I have been there several times for the entertainment and it is always fun. The residents that I have talked with all seem happy to be there. And it is always clean They are very involved with the community too.

Brookdale Rock Springs is one of the premier assisted living homes in the upper East Tennessee area. Every time I have been there, the facility inside as well as outside is in immaculate condition. All of the personnel that are employed there are super friendly and attentive to their residents. The food is all freshly baked daily with their own chef. The activity's director is always planning fun and exciting things for the residents to stay involved. They have the nicest spacious rooms I have seen as well. If you are looking for the perfect place for your loved one.....look no further. Go see Suzy Cloyd and she will give you first class treatment!!

My father spent two weeks at The Fountains at Washington House after being hospitalized. It was the best place for him to be after hospitalization and before being able to get discharged to go home. The Rehabilitation Care is excellent. All of the staff treated my father with utmost respect and care. Thanks to all including the PT Chai (great sense of humor), OT James and team, the Speech Therapist and Case Worker Colin. We appreciate your professionalism and care. The rest of the staff (nurses, social coordinators and the cleaning staff) were all amazing too!

I have visited Brookdale Rock Springs on numerous occasions for business networking events, and have always found this high quality facility to be bright and attractive, and the residents seem to be extremely well cared for and happy. A group of Christian men I am part of participated in a fish fry for the residents last Spring, and I think we received as much Joy from spending time with the men and ladies of Brookdale as they did! There was singing and laughter, and we all hated to see mealtime end that evening! We look forward to doing it again, and if I had a need for assisted living for a family member, Brookdale would be at the top of my list!!

Went on a tour of the Windsor and I must say, I was really impressed. High ceilings and big windows everywhere gave such a light and airy feeling; another thing that struck me was how the place was decorated. Every aspect, everything you looked at was pretty! Whether you walked down to the library and played billiards or sat at one of the game tables, or walked along the gorgeous paved walkway with the beautiful fountain, or went to the movie room or activities room, it seemed to me there would always be something interesting to lure you out of your room--which, speaking of, the rooms are SO NICE! Beautifully laid out and spacious feeling, the one I looked at today had its own charming patio to enjoy. The green landscaping and delicate trees were so restful, I just wanted to sit down there myself. I haven't said a word about all the amenities and activities on offer because that would take a while, and for right now I just wanted to concentrate on what I saw. What I saw was a beautifully designed and planned facility filled with friendly staff, and peopled with lively, engaged, and smiling residents. I was really impressed!
