Brookdale was chosen by my 95 yr old father and we couldn’t be happier. He was so disappointed to not live in his home and after 6 months in Brookdale Colonial Heights he is calling it home. He has adjusted so well. The staff is top notch and he loves the meals. Best choice ever for my Dad!!!

We visited every memory care facility in the area but once we met the team at Brookdale Colonial Heights we had zero doubts on where our grandmother belonged. Brookdale felt like a family and their facility felt like a home. Now that our Granny has been at Brookdale a few months, we can say with confidence that our feelings were accurate. Brookdale Colonial Heights is a wonderful place full of tremendous caregivers and exceptionally happy residents. We are incredibly grateful to Spring, Stacie, Beverly and the rest of the dedicated staff for treating our grandmother and us like members of the family.

My daughter in law Kyla Bussell is a nurse at youre company. She is a very smart intelligent nurse and because she is my daughter in law. Its because she is a wonderful nurse. I worked with Kyla in a skilled nursing facility with her and she is an awesome nurse. She is one of the best nurses Ive ever worked with. She is always kind and considerate with everyone.

Words cannot express how wonderful the administration and staff were to my precious momma. From the beginning with Edi as she helped answer all our questions and went over and above to make Moms entrance into Brookdale Colonial Heights a smooth one. It was so obvious from the first day that Spring and Donna the administrators had mommas best interest at heart. They made sure all her needs were being met. They were so comforting to me as I was many hours away and called quite often. The nurses, assistants, chef, etc. all genuinely loved my momma and made her feel loved. One in particular was a precious lady named Emi. She never entered my mommas room that she did not kiss her on the forehead and tell her that she loved her. And her words and actions were straight from her heart. I believe that each person working there is using their God given gifts to make a difference in the lives of each resident and their families. My mom moved there in November 2018 having brain cancer and her last day there was January 6, 2019 when she entered her heavenly home. I believe her last days were some of her best because she had no worries and was loved on so well. Thank you Brookdale Colonial Heights.??

Our families experience has been such a great blessing with the way Barry and Spring and the entire caring staff in the way they took care of our dear aunt Lena We were at total peace seeing and experiencing the kind professional care that was given to our Lena. Lena always told us herself how much she loved being at Brookdale and she was happy. We all knew she was in the best care and we were at Pease knowing that she was well cared for.

I cannot begin to thank each and every staff member at Brookdale Colonial Heights for all their kindness, love, and thoughtfulness as my mom moved in this week. Every single person went above and beyond to help us with this transition. I have never felt more love, genuine love, as I have from each member of their team. My heart is breaking to have to leave her tomorrow, but I KNOW that she will be loved and deeply cared for by each individual serving her. I take great comfort in this. Thank you to the meal staff for sacrificing your thanksgiving day to serve these precious residents and their guests. For some this may be their last Thanksgiving and I want you to know that your sacrifice does not go unnoticed. May God richly bless you as you serve Him at Brookdale Colonial Heights! Brookdale colonial heights is a loving, proffessional and excellent assisted living home. Staff and associates communicate and promote wellness for residents and family members. Our personal experience has been positive. Brookdale is now part of our extended family. My mothers life there was joyous and full of love, hugs and care. She loved living there and was cared for by hospice and Brookdale till the end of her life. The family of Brookdale kept us in the loop and we enjoyed many days with mom there and on outings and in house cultural and festive events. Even when mom came with us to events , she always wanted to return to her home at Brookdale rather than spend nights away. She really did think of her place there as home and the staff as friends and family. Her medical needs as well as personal ones were always seen to in a timely and attentive way. I truely believe Brookdale was the perfect choice for our family.

Our dad has been at Brookdale Colonial Heights for over a year now. We couldnt be happier with the care he receives and are grateful to the loving staff. Probably the most caring people I have had the pleasure to get to know. Brookdale is lovely. The environment is clean and beautifully decorated. Food is wonderful! HIGHLY recommend!

Brookdale Colonial Heights is such a wonderful place. I brought my mother here to live when it was determined that she had Alzheimers and was unable to take care of herself. It was a tough decision but I I couldnt have been happier, and Mom was happy there too. The staff is great and really became like family. They are so kind, loving and generous. There are so many different activities and opportunities for the residents to interact. The facility itself is nice and very secure. I absolutely think the world of Brookdale Colonial Heights.

My Mom has lived at Brookdale Colonial Heights for more than a year now. The staff has been wonderful to her in all that time. She is kept very active, which was important for my Mom. My brothers and I all know that we were very lucky to find such a wonderful memory care facility for our Mother. She is extremely well taken care of at Brookdale.

My family had struggled to determine how best to help our mother, she was becoming more and more confused and forgetful. It wasn't safe for her at her home and she really complained about us "taking away her life" by making her live with us. Then my sister found Brookdale. Everyone was so understanding and helped us each step of the way. We knew mom would be upset and likely resist but the staff all welcomed her and helped her through it. Now mom has made friends and is getting involved. We are so thankful for the committed, caring Brookdale staff. We cannot thank them enough.

Brookdale Colonial Heights is a great assisted living facility! As a Pharmacy we really enjoy working a long side their staff to ensure their Residents get the best care possible. Donna & Spring are both very professional and easy to work with. They also have facility cats which warms my heart!

We recently placed our mother in the memory care unit at Brookdale Colonial Heights and we are so grateful for the sensitive and attentive staff who helped us through this challenging time. They have gone out of their way to insure that all of mom's needs have been met and that she assimilates into the community quickly. The facilities are clean and her room has a nice view into the courtyard.

It isn't just the array of activities or the wonderful facilities, it isn't just the peace of mind that comes with guaranteed care, no matter what level is needed, it isn't just the amazing staff or the well kept grounds and the selection of apartments or cottages.
