Man, where do I begin?! I'm going to start with ethics. Ethics!! THIS is what sets this company above others. The business is homecare... with your LOVED ONES. What is more important than ethics, compassion, standards and pride in care when trusting someone with your loved one? Nothing! Nothing is more important and THAT is what sets this company above others. This review is coming for an employee. Not as a biast review, but as an impressed first hand witness to the inner workings of the company. I am so thankful for FirstLight! The care they provided for my mother was exceptional and beyond expectations. My mother had been bedridden in a nursing home for six months when I brought her to my house. With the help, care, respect and encouragement of the ladies at FirstLight, she quickly began walking, was no longer incontinent and within a few weeks was ready to move in with my father. The ladies at FirstLight quickly became family and were never just "sitters", they were caring, engaged and invested in making each day great for my mother. Both of my parents were always excited to see them! My mothers homehealth nurses, PT and OT were just as impressed with FirstLight as I was! FirstLight is top notch and because of them my mom and dad are back together again.❤

First light been taking care of my mother-in-law and father-in-law for more than 7 month. They are the best home care people that I encounter. They took care of my in-laws like their own family, make them feel so comfortable being at home. All of the caregivers are gentle yet professionals with love and compassion. It was very comforting to know First light is always there for us no matter what the situation comes up. I highly recommend them to anyone who needed home care service for their love ones. I check with 5 different companies before I signed up with First light, there price is more than reasonable. Both my in-laws are passed away with being loved by all of wonderful caregivers.

The company is amazing, they work with you and can give you pretty much any hours that you need for your care, from a few hours a day to 24-7 care. They prioritize the clients schedule and employ caregivers who are compassionate to their clients. It is so important to me that my family has companionship and proper care, Jamie and Will worked with us to give us exactly what we needed. So thankful for this company. If you are in the area looking for in home care this is the company to go to!!

Living with a husband 24-365, who has Alzheimers, for the last 5 years is beginning to take a toll on me. We have done well up until the last stages, and thanks to Will, I have learned to let go and trust First Light! His friendliness, professionalism, and knowledge caused me to trust this company. Two different sitters have stayed at this point, and they are both very caring, observant, and will keep my husband entertained. Kathy shot pool with him this week! He loves to play pool! When she left, he had such a good four hours with her that he gave her a big hug. I walked in the door to big smiles and his eyes were sparkling! That was such a blessing! I am so grateful to First Light Home Care because now I can feel comfortable leaving him and knowing he will get the care he needs. TRUST FIRST LIGHT HOME CARE!

I am the Care Coordinator for First Light here in Clarksville. I came on board with the company in February this year. I LOVE this company. I accepted the position for one major reason, they care about their caregivers! As a former caregiver myself, I know how it feels to be underappreciated and hard work being overlooked. First Light is passionate about taking care of their caregivers, letting them know on a consistent basis how much they are appreciated, asking for feedback about clients and just checking in with them often to make sure they are healthy and happy, physically and mentally. When youre staff feels important and appreciated, your clients get the best of them through the services we provide. The service standards are top notch as well. Caregivers go through training and extended orientations. There are so many benefits both in working for and hiring First Light as your caregiving agency. I will be with First Light for as long as I can. LOVE LOVE LOVE my company!

FirstLight Home Care is the absolute best. Our whole family can go about our daily activities knowing that mom and dad are well taken care of (thank you Christine and Kelsi). They make sure the house is always clean, bed sheets have been changed, medications have been taken, etc. I cant say thank you enough about the staff at FirstLight Home Care of Clarksville!
