Our father has been a resident for about 3 years. During this time the staff has always keep our father's best interests in mind. They have gone above and beyond our expectations to include medical, social, nutrition and social interaction. The cleaning staff has always kept our father's living quarters spotless. The activities on and off campus have been perfect for all residents. The open door policy with the leadership is exactly what our family needs and last but not least the LifeLoop website has been perfect. Thanks again for all you do for our father.

My mother was at Myrtle Beach Manor for two weeks following a hospital stay and we have nothing but great things to say. From the time she arrived until the time she left, the staff was helpful, accommodating, and so incredibly nice. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely focused on my mother's needs and recovery and kept me well informed. The physical therapy department was amazing! My mom received almost two hours of therapy every day and she made so much progress! We are grateful to everyone at MBM!

Excellent facility if you need Rehab. Terrific rehab group that helps get you back on your feet and progress to your ability. I have had to stay at the facility 3 times. I highly rate it for the care provided. Also thank the Aides that help you each day with your daily care like bathing and getting up in the morning. Then put you back to bed in the evening. Actually, anything you need day or night. I can't thank all at the facility. It was like an extended family and home for me.

The staff are all very attentive to their patients and their needs. Staff are easy to communicate with and work jointly with our Hospice staff to provide excellent care to their patients.

If there was a way to give a review with negative 10 stars, that's what this review would be. Absolutely horrendous place. NO ONE SHOULD EVER allow a family member to go there, EVER! Patients suffer, take forever to be seen regularly and forget it when they need immediate help. Sadly, this only scratches the surface. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT allow someone you love to go for rehab or much less live there full time. They are being reported to the BBB.

My mom has stayed at this facility twice this year. Once back in April and more recently in Sept and Oct of this year. The place has gone downhill in a hurry. It seems light in staff and the food is poor. More than once Mom was left sitting on the toilet for extended periods of time. Communication was lacking between the facility and my mom. Phone calls were often not returned. When calling the fro t desk often the phone would ring and ring. Mom had actually requested to go here after hospital discharge because her earlier visit there was a positive one. It seems the facility may have been acquired by a larger company and has gone steadily downhill. Although some of the nurses were great, some were not. Would not recommend this facility to anyone

We were in a difficult spot and needed a place for our father very quickly. Chandler Abrams, Theresa Baynes and staff (especially medication aide Lafeast) were extremely helpful with so many details and problems we faced. We are very thankful and satisfied so far.

My 90 year old Grandmother has recently had to make some big changes in her life. My family and I are grateful for all of the support that the staff at Myrtle Beach Manor Rehab Facility and Assisted Living have given us. All the way from the administrative, to nutrition, nursing and tech staff have all been helpful in guiding us to make the best decisions for my Grandmother. Dorothy and Carolyn have gone above and beyond to make sure the transition from hospital to rehab and now to assisted living has been as smooth as possible for her. My Grandmother has always been independent and stubborn, this new home and staff are allowing her to be the same independent and feisty woman we love. It is also going to give her the ability to be more social. The past few weeks have held a lot of changes for my Grandmother and we believe it has all gone much smoother than expected thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful staff at Myrtle Beach Manor.

Been in Myrtle Beach SC for the past 12yrs. I, nor others have EVER heard of this place. We heard and unfortunately experienced other Rehabilitation centers in our area & they were below average...because our family member experienced such poor service elsewhere, we were determined to find a better quality Rehabilitation center. A nurse @ GrandStrand hospital suggests MB Manor. Now...the rooms have older style furnishings from the early 2000s but it is VERY clean and more important, it felt like home...it was warm! The staff across the board were VERY professional, caring, and thorough. My loved one broke her leg in 2 parts therefore, her Rehabilitation was non-weight bearing on her left leg...But she still received 5-star Rehabilitation sessions 3xs daily that were intense. They were still able to carefully exercised that leg & maintained strength for the rest of her body that she would have to rely on The meals most of the time were prepared by a volunteer chef who LOVED to cook & it came across in his meals ...if you werent in love with their regular paper menus selections, they had a notebook regarding their facility, & in that book they had an expanded menu for B,L,D ...FREE of charge to pick from....it was like eating @ very nice restaurant for 14 days...They served every meal on fine china ....chef prepared breakfast right before you...whatever you desired 4 Breakfast . The TLC that our family member experienced was 5star ... they created an environment that was conducive to healing ...NOW, I understand why this place was a best kept secret!

MBM immediately washed, shaved, and cut our dads hair. His unit is kept clean and fresh smelling. They bring him outside to watch the boats go by. Very glad we moved him from the first ALF, where he was quite neglected.Many thanks

My Mother-in-Law enjoys the everyday activities and the friendships she made with many of the employees and staff in the AL section. I, myself used the rehabilitation section after a knee replacement and was well satisfied and impressed with staff and my recovery time.

My Dad is currently a patient, and he is being very well taken care of. The staff is wonderful, they are very attentive, and are always available to discuss with me & my Mom anything that we need to address with them. My Dad has been in many facilities for rehab, and MBM by far is above them all. What I can say is dont judge a book by its cover, open it, read it, and then decide if it was worth it - MBM is definitely worth it!!!

My father resides at Myrtle Beach Manor and we could not have selected a better Assisted Living facility. What has made Myrtle Beach Manor so special for us is the STAFF! They are so very aware of each patients needs its amazing and they work very hard to meet those needs every day. Chef - AWESOME, Receptionist - AWESOME, CNAs - AWESOME, Housekeeping AWESOME, Administrators and Managers - AWESOME. Everyone at Myrtle Beach Manor really embraces each and every resident and their families. It really is a wonderful place.

I can truly say that I absolutely love everyone at the Myrtle Beach Manor ! They are very thoughtful and caring staff. They without a doubt saved my fathers life. When all others said he would not survive they never gave up. My father went through his 3rd cancer surgery. He was taken to a rehabnursing home in Maryland. The conditions were absolutely horrible. Worse then most jails in the country. My father developed Grandma seizures, diabetes, COPD, pneumonia,was on a peg feeding tube. I was ask by two doctors at that facility if I wanted them to pull the plug. I knew right then and there I had to take him some where that people really cared. That place without a doubt was Myrtle Beach Manor. My father started showing improvements within a just a few days. Within a little more than a month after the loving care that he received from the entire staff (John, Kimberly, Tina, Patricia, Rachel, Donna, Christine, Cathy just to name a few) he no longer has seizures, does not use any oxygen, diabetes is non existing, he is completely off the feeding tube, is eating REAL FOOD and is walking on his own.. It is if nothing ever happened. I know that it is because of the love and professional training that everyone there gave to my father, I am forever thankful to everyone in that entire staff. I recently was released from Myrtle Beach Manor Rehab and can not say enough wonderful things about the staff and rehab. I have seen many facilities in the past and this is by far the best. Very caring, knowledgeable and professional staff. If you need a rehab dont hesitate to come here. It starts with a great receptionist Greg and PTOTST staff which is phenomenal. The staff from dietary to nursing including assistant and maintenance are the best.

This is my second round with Myrtle Beach Manor. Five years ago my mother had a stroke, Alzheimers, kidney failure and Parkinsons. My father (85 year old) had been caring for her but things got too difficult for him so we brought her to Myrtle Beach Manor Skilled Nursing. She spent her final 9 months there where her care was impeccable and compassionate. Not only did they care for my mom but helped my dad through the difficulties of watching your spouse pass. A year or so after her death, I found myself back at Myrtle Beach Manor with my Dad. Hed had 3 big strokes so he started out in Skilled Nursing quickly moved to Rehab and then on to Assisted Living. Hes a tough old bird so I worried about the challenges that the staff had ahead of them. From the moment I met Dorothy, I knew that things would be OK. She was so understanding and Im sure had been down this path with many others but for me and my family, she made us feel special. 3+ years later my Dad, thanks to the care he receives daily at MBM is happy, healthy but still that tough old bird! The staff is amazing along with their caring, friendly personalities and actually love their jobs. You can feel that when you enter the facility...everyone is always smiling. The facility is always spotless, including my Dads room. He is always clean, dressed perfectly and taken care of all he needs. This brings me such great comfort. I run a caregiver group in my community and up to date, I think Ive referred at least 5 people, all of whom have been extremely satisfied. It is an older facility but dont be fooled by that... If want to know that your loved one is cared for, MBM is the right place to be.

I recently was a patient at Myrtle Beach Manors Rehab Center. I cant express enough how much I appreciate all that the staff did to make me feel perfectly at ease, and at home. Every person I came in contact with, had a smile on their face and truly appeared to love their job! Not only did the nurses and staff save my life but they saw to it that I was motivated about getting my needed therapy in . I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone that needs a rehab facility. Not only were the rooms nice and clean, but there was always someone there to help you whether you needed medication or just wanted coffee at 3am. Give them a chance. You wont be sorry, I promise!

Not sure how anyone that has ever stayed in Myrtle Beach Manor could have any complaints. Sam, one of the nurses has been there over 20 yrs as have quite a few of the other staff and I would say if it were a bad place to work they wouldnt have been there so long. Anyone I came in contact with would get you anything you needed immediately with a smile. The dining room also gives you many choices so theres no problem eating. The PT and OT people give you the best rehab you could ask for. I have told everyone that if you need any rehab this is the best place to go. Thanks again to all the staff that helped me through a very rough time.
