I would like to thank the staff at pinewood place for providing my father great care! I live out of state and I can always rely on Amy to do her job and make sure that my father is well taken care of as for the negative comments please discard it they are probably trolls trying to stir up nonsense. I would highly recommend this place for any future residency for your loved ones! Do not listen to disgruntled past employee’s! Take word from a man who has had his father in this facility for two years!

I just relocated my grandmother to this facility from Michigan. There is no way I could have done this without Mary Beths compassion and guidance. She took the time to answer my questions (and there were hundreds), personally helped with the paperwork and moving her in during the pandemic and the holiday season. It has been a huge transition for my grandma but I feel good about the care she has been receiving thus far.

Marybethany Covella and Erin Johnson are an asset to Pinewood. You can see they are very kind, caring and compassionate not just to the residents but also the family members. They both are always willing to help in anyway they can. I so appreciate all they do.

We (my mother, sister and I) visited and researched other assisted living places in the area and selected Pinewood. Staff are helpful, caring, flexible to meet resident needs and friendly. The location is within a neighborhood that is close to friends, has walking paths and across the street from a beautiful lake. It is also centrally located and close to churches, stores and restaurants. My mother is independent and having her live in an apartment with professionals there 24 hours to assist as needed is peace of mind. They provide transportation, a top priority for my Mom, so she can enjoy and go where she wants to go.

I work as a professional (RN) Guardian for several clients in the Charleston area. Recently I was able to get a client in to Pinewood place. What a breath of fresh air! The staff are so kind and helpful, especially the Director of Admissions, Mary Beth Covella. She went over and above to welcome my client and prepare her room - more welcoming than any other facility I have been in - and the numbers are extensive. The atmosphere here is so upbeat and staff all engaged to ensure both a safe and fun environment. Dont hesitate to entrust your loved one into their care.

This is by far the best company/community I have ever worked for! Everyone works as a team, we are all like family here and try and help one another when we can! My Executive Director Rae Lynn Greenwood, has the most caring and understanding heart! She is so compassionate to ALL the residents and she makes sure All her employees are treated Right. She really does go above and Beyond as well as our Nurse Jackie and maintenance Director Jeremy.. I am just so BLESSED to be a part of the Enlivant Family! It truly has been Nothing but GREAT!

I was there last Saturday visiting from Jersey and Marybethany showed me to my grandmas room since it was my first time there. I couldnt get over how nice and pleasant she was, her smile alone brightens up the place. If your entire staff is anything like her then I coming to retire here. Beautiful place too and my grandma seems to love it!!

We walked into Pinewood, and they were quick to receive us. And then, the residents were in different places like some were sitting and listening to one of the residents playing the piano, some were sitting and watching TV, some were in the little dining area, some were walking up and down the hall. It circles around, so it was not a dead end hallway. It did not smell like a nursing home. The only thing maybe they can improve on is a better ratio of nurses to residents.

We liked Pinewood Place very much. The staff seemed friendly and caring. The rooms were small but clean and had all the necessary items. The location was excellent and the grounds were well kept, although small. They seemed to have a confident staff and a variety of services available.

I lived in Pinewood Place for 8 months. My experience was fine. They were good to me. I had a studio apartment. They had some activities, but I did not participate in much of it. The staff was good.

Pinewood Place was a small place. The staff was friendly, and the dining room was pretty spacious. They seemed to have many activities planned for the residents. Their price was pretty expensive. The apartments were spacious, and they were going around the dining room, so it was easy for the residents to get to the dining room from their apartments.

The workers at Pinewood Place are very kind to the residents. The food is bad, but they are very gentle to their residents. It's a small facility that has about 40 to 44 residents and activities every day. The residents love the staff, but they don't like the food because it's pre-made garbage that comes in a big truck. It's not good. Every resident there complaints about the food, but nobody does anything about it. Every worker there knows every patient's name and which room each one is in, and interacts with all of them.
