I recently had the opportunity to visit the Memory Care neighborhood at The Lighthouse at Lincoln, and I was extremely impressed. The community was exceptionally clean, warm, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The staff created a positive and caring atmosphere that was evident throughout my visit. The residents looked happy and genuinely engaged in meaningful activities, which was wonderful to see. It was clear that the team puts a lot of thought into providing opportunities for socialization and enrichment. I was also impressed by the meals”the food looked delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. My dad is a resident at Lighthouse, and the staff has made this transition so much easier for both him and our family. They have been incredibly kind, patient, and caring every step of the way. He’s truly made himself at home and seems to be thriving there, which gives us so much peace of mind. I live in Texas, so I can’t visit as often as I’d like. The photos and updates the staff regularly emails to families help me feel connected to my dad even from so far away. My husband has been at the Lighthouse since January. I was terrified to send him away from his home,The staff, during a home visit assured me it was the right time.They explained that when Alzheimer’s patients began to display unsafe behaviors it the the right time to begin 24 hour care. From the beginning, they have displayed warmth, kindness and overall love.The smiles displayed towards him as well as myself, family and friends, has been heartwarming and so appreciated.He loves the food and certainly eats his share. The facility is bright and beautiful. So clean and well kept.Support groups and learning opportunities are offered monthly and have been invaluable to me. I was at a conference the other day and the speaker stated, in different words but with this meaning. Some of you may feel guilty, you may have promised your love one that you would keep them at home. This was said without all the knowledge you have now. But what your promise meant is that I will be by your side,I will visit you, I will be your biggest advocate, I will continue to love you like I always have.I try to do that daily. I want to just something about price ,the price of care in general is a lot. Whether it’s infant, pre-school school age care, and so on. 24 hr. care is provided to keep our loved ones safe, and loved,The Lighthouse does just that. Do I wish the price was lower,yes of course I do.But I have been to see many other places and the price was about the same, the facility and interactions between staff and residents was not the same. I am so happy and thankful that he lives at The Lighthouse now.

The decision to move my mother-in-law into memory care was one of the most difficult our family has ever faced. Like many families, we wrestled with the emotions that come with recognizing a loved one needs more support and care than can be provided at home. While the decision itself was challenging, finding the right place was not. Once we toured Lighthouse at Lincoln, we knew it was where she belonged. The greatest gift Lighthouse has given our family is peace of mind. I don’t have a family member at the facility, but have toured it for the future and have attended several lunch and learns. They hold these events several times a month, provide lunch and an excellent speaker. I have learned so much. I am so impressed with everyone there and the facility. It’s so clean, smells wonderful, and the food is great. I am most impressed by the fact that they treat me like a client even though I’m really just a freeloader.:). Chloe checks in with me regularly, is there to answer my questions and is so friendly. It’s a wonderful place, and if I need it, I should be lucky enough to go there.

We are so impressed with the quality of care our brother, Steve, is receiving at the Lighthouse. The entire staff is exceptional. They made it a point to get to know Steve on a personal level, and use that information to effectively meet his needs. They recognize his strengths and skills, such as playing the ukulele, and encourage him to play for others, giving him a great sense of purpose. Isn't purpose what everyone wants in life? In addition to the outstanding care that Steve is receiving, the expert staff acknowledges the concerns of the whole family, truly sees our stresses, and encourages us every day. Chloe was so outstanding with me and my family! This place has got to be the most beautiful, lovely, and caring memory care facility I have ever been to! They go that extra mile to make sure not only your loved one but the families are ok! For instance I had a appointment to look at the place, but became sick. Chloe even text me to ask if I would like her to bring me soup! She has no idea what that meant to me! From the moment Denny and I walked through the doors, it was clear that the CNAs and staff members are genuinely happy to help. As a daughter, choosing a memory care community for my mom was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. From the very first visit, The Lighthouse at Lincoln put my heart at ease. The building is always clean, bright, and welcoming, but what truly sets it apart is the staff. Every person I’ve met from the front desk to the caregivers, nurses, activities team, and leadership, treats my mom with dignity, patience, and genuine kindness. They don’t just care for residents; they really know them. They call my mom by name, notice when she needs a little extra reassurance, and celebrate her good days. I love seeing her engaged in activities instead of just sitting in front of a TV. She participates in programs, enjoys the common areas, and seems more relaxed and content than she was at home. The communication with families has also been excellent. I’m updated on how she’s doing, and any concerns are addressed promptly and thoughtfully. I never feel like a burden when I call or stop by with questions. Placing a loved one in memory care comes with a lot of guilt and worry, but The Lighthouse at Lincoln has given our family real peace of mind. It is an assisted memory care community that provides care by attentive and compassionate staff that make the residents feel at home. They keep the residents busy with different activities every day. As a senior living advisor that helps families look for long term care, there aren’t many Great standalone memory care communities in RI. However, The Lighthouse is one I would recommend for the right client. Staff are great and you can tell they care for residents. There is a push to stimulate the individual and delay dementia and related diseases.

The staff is caring, attentive, and professional. It is obvious that they truly care about the residents. I visited many facilities to try to find the right fit for my loved one, until I visited The Lighthouse. After my tour, I was hopeful that this was the right place for him and it absolutely was the right decision. He is safe, relaxed, and engaged. I can visit him anytime. When I do visit, he is generally participating in an activity which brings me joy. Because of their special training, the staff is adept at encouraging participation. I recently had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful, Specialized- Memory Care Community! What a compassionate , dedicated and knowledgeable staff. I witnessed their gentle and caring approach with the residents; It is obvious that they understand Dementia Care. As I toured with the Executive Director, Lynn, I couldn’t help but notice how well she knew each resident and staff as she stopped to chat along the way. While some residents were engaged in craft projects , others were singing along with a live entertainer at the piano. They look so content, reminiscing about beautiful songs of yesteryear. I highly recommend this beautiful, hidden gem for your loved one.

My Mom needed a safe place to live after her stroke, initially we found Atria in Barrington. Mom was left like a piece of furniture, they did nothing with the residents on their memory care unit. When we reported a serious safety concern as a necessary piece of safety equipment was removed from her room, they did absolutely nothing about it for hours. We moved her to the Lighthouse and couldn't be more happy with the staff and facility. They are all kind and caring and Mom is so much more content in her current life situation. Update July 2023: Still very happy with The lighthouse. After 1.5 years we have no complaints. Update 1/9/24: Still happy at Lighthouse, the staff is amazing! Update 4/22/25 Mom is still getting the best care by some of the kindest people I've known, Thanks Lighthouse!

Expect enormous rent increases every year! My father has lived there for a little over two years.The first year, rent was increased 10% ($735/month) and this year, 8% ($660/month)! I’ll have a lot more to add to this review once my father passes away (he currently receives hospice care and could pass away any day)!

I am typically not a person that writes reviews. I hardly ever read reviews. However, in this case I feel I should write a review for The Lighthouse at Lincoln. My wife has been a resident at The Lighthouse at Lincoln for a year now. She has received exceptional care and is very comfortable at the facility. The staff is so caring and attentive to all her needs. There is nothing harder than having to place your loved one in a memory care facility. In my case I held out for as long as I physically could before placing her in a memory facility. The first day you leave your loved one is very hard. You are never sure you have made the right decision. The staff at The Lighthouse at Lincoln made me feel very comfortable leaving my wife. They communicated with me that day as to how she was doing and for the next few days before I went back to visit her. The staff communicates on how my wife is doing with every visit. They are also concerned as to how I am doing. The most important part of leaving your loved one at a memory facility is how you as the caregiver feel. After a visit I feel very relieved knowing my wife is safe and well taken care of at The Lighthouse at Lincoln. Gary H

I have spent a lot of time here these past few months. Great building security and layout! One of the cleanest ALZ buildings I've been to! After visiting several memory care facilities and trying to find the facility that best fits our relative’s needs, we decided on the Lighthouse at Lincoln. From the day we moved into the Lighthouse, we knew we had made the right decision. As soon as you step through the doors, you are greeted with a warm welcome and bright, cheery faces from the staff, especially our friends at the front desk: Mary, Judy, and Hunter. The facility is absolutely beautiful and kept very clean. All of the residents are well taken care of, and encouraged to participate in various activities, exercise programs, and trips outside to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I want to thank the entire staff for the amazing care they provide every single day. It's important to extend a special thank you to Carla, Charlotte, Jennifer, Lindsey, and Sherry who go above and beyond in our loved one's plan of care. We also want to acknowledge the Director, Lynn, and the Resident Care Director, Diane, who both work tirelessly to ensure the needs of the residents are being met. It’s so hard to name specific staff members because they truly are all wonderful. The nursing staff consistently keeps us updated on how our relative is doing and involves us in the daily routine. They are an incredible group of people that deeply care for the residents with compassion, empathy, patience and kindness. What we imagined was going to be a difficult transition, ended up being one of the best decisions we ever made. The Lighthouse has become our relative’s new home, and the entire staff has become family. Words cannot express our gratitude. Love, The Chelo Family

Staff at The Lighthouse is attentive, pleasant, capable. They get answers to questions if they don’t already know. They know the residents and accommodate their idiosyncrasies with kindness. The facility is clean, very pleasant, well-maintained. The activities staff works hard to plan appropriate activities for different levels, engage residents and include families. There is a nice sense of community. The staff is very attentive to families’ concerns/suggestions at quarterly care plan meetings and open to questions always. The Lighthouse cares all the way around about all details.

My mom has been living at The Lighthouse since Oct 2018....I can't think of one complaint I've had in all that time....tha entire staff is wonderful, kind and gentle with Mom...they are also very cooperative and helpful with our family...food is excellent and maintenance tends to problems immediately The administrative staff goes out of their way to keep me up dated with any issues and are so helpful solving them. Lynn,Cathy,Diana,Hannah etc are wonderful...the entire staff on Cedar take fabulous care of Mom. I am so pleased that we chose The Lighthouse at Lincoln The Cotnoir Family

When my Dad passed unexpectedly in 2021, I had to quickly find caregivers for my Mom. I was referred to the Lighthouse by in-home caregivers I had hired for my Mom. The staff at the Lighthouse made everything very easy, at the most difficult time in my life. My Mom has now been there for a year and a half, and she thinks she’s been on vacation the entire time. She loves the staff, and honestly she’s healthier than she’s ever been. It is pricey, but you get your money’s worth. If I had to pick a place to funnel my inheritance into, I’m glad it’s this one 🙂 Thank you, a million times over.

The Lighthouse is a family community. The support, guidance and care for both the residents and their family members is amazing! This include all the staff. All staff members are beautiful individuals. Family members never feel alone in this journey of life. The residents are treated like family genuinely. Daily activities for residents and many events including family member. Family picture days with appetizers etc. which are wonderfully planned events. My father has a swallowing challenge. The chef has made it his goal to achieve good foods and make my father happy with his meal choices. This was a challenge but Jeff, the chef, made this a priority and we are grateful for his efforts. The Lighthouse makes this journey of life for residents and their families the best it can be. This is important and very appreciated.

My Mom has been living at The Lighthouse for close to one year now. All of the staff and administrators are knowledgeable about dementia and do all that they can can to ensure the comfort and well being of the residents. They create a genuine family atmosphere. They are also sensitive and supportive of family and loved ones who are navigating an emotionally complex experience. We highly recommend the services at The Lighthouse.

Dear Lynn and Jodi, We would like to take this time to absolutely praise all the staff. Please accept our heartfelt appreciation for the kindness and excellent care for our mother, Elfrida D’Andrea. The many staff members in the Oak neighborhood created such a caring environment with such an impeccably high standard of care, delivered with such warmth. Mom came to Lighthouse in June of 2015 after being diagnosed with moderate dementia. Lighthouse became home for almost seven years until her passing on March 4th. From the beginning mom was very resistant to the new atmosphere, which you all assisted her to settle in. Your special skill helping her to engage in the many activities was fulfilling to her and comforting to us knowing she was happy. Mom was especially fond of the caregiver Nef, she always lit up when he was present- Thank You for that. We knew that upon leaving after a visit she was in good hands, always. As the disease accelerated to the advanced stage, her care became much more personal. The transition to this additional level of care was smooth and efficient. Nearing the end, comfort care measures were necessary and hospice care was added. During the 8 days in the care of hospice, your staff was more than attentive to all of us. From the every half- hour staff check to the multiple daily food carts brought into the room. Upon moms passing we were deeply grateful for the prayer vigil with the staff, given by Jodi. The Lighthouse has been a haven for my mom who is 79 with dementia. The staff is wonderful. When problems do arise they are quick to step in and resolve in a patient and compassionate manner. The administrative staff is excellent: compassionate, efficient and resourceful. They also encourage playfulness which has helped my mom because she was a very disciplined type A personality kind of woman.

I can rest easy now that my loved one is at the Lighthouse at Lincoln. The memory care unit in Milford was an absolute nightmare, lousy processed food, always understaffed, very few staff members that really cared about his wellbeing. By comparison Lighthouse has wonderful caring staff members who go the extra mile to provide the best care. So many activities that help spark the mind, really appetizing meals as well as support for family. Placing my loved one in the care of these wonderful people was the best decision I’ve ever made. I never worry when I leave him after a visit, he’s in the best place possible at this stage of his Alzheimer’s disease. Love you guys

You did a great job. We were able to keep in touch with our resident via Facetime on almost a daily basis. Everything we asked to be done was accomplished quickly by the staff.

The facility is nice but way overpriced for the care that most of the residents receive we moved our loved one out to a nearby facility and saved thousands per month with better one on one car and the meals were much better!!
